Budweiser Bud Light Whassup / Wassup / Wazzup Commercials: The Ultimate Collection (1999-2018)

- I put together the most important commercials from the famous Bud Whassup campaign in more or less chronological order and added some parodies and surprises at the end. Which one is your #1? Tell me in the comments, I will include your vote in the ranking here below this description text!
IMPORTANT: 8:28 - 9:09 the scene from The Office is blured out because they blocked the commercial, so I had to change it.
These ads are included:
1. “Whassup” - the first 60-sec commercial that started it all in December 1999
2. “Call waiting”
3. “Pizza Party” - that's just my title, I don’t know how it was called
4. “Wasabi” with Dookie (Scott Martin Brooks)
5. “Wife” with Dookie
6. “Girl Invasion” - actually the one that was aired during the Super Bowl 2000
7. “Telemarketer” with Dookie
8. “Courtside”
9. “Howyoudoing”
10. ‘‘Come Home” / “Alien Dog”
11. ‘‘Language Tape’’ - this ad increased the website traffic from 400.000 to 1.265 million visitors/month

12. Scary Movie from 2000 with Marlon Wayans and Ghostface
13. Annoying Orange - there were acutally four episodes, I don’t know which one this is
14. The Office, “Pilot” from 2005 with Steve Carell (Michael Scott, Jim, and Dwight)
15. Friends, “The One With Phoebe's Rats” from 2003 with Ross and Chandler
16. Aqua Teen Hunger Force, "Multiple Meat" from 2010 with Frylock and Master Shake
17. “That’s my Boy” from 2012 with Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg
18. Grandmas - there are actually some of these, I picked this one as I think this one is the best
19. The Simpsons - this is fan made content, good one though, and there was Whassup on The Simpsons but in another form in "The Bart Wants What It Wants", Season 13, Episode 11
20. Ant-Man and the Wasp from 2018 with Michael Peña using the phrase and Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly and Michael Douglas
The Whassup campaign (also called Wassup or Whazzup) for Anheuser-Busch / Bud light was developed by DDB Chicago (CD Bob Scarpelli, Copy Charles Stone III, AD Chuck Taylor, Production C&C Storm Films, Director Charles Stone III) to attract younger target groups. The idea was simple and seemed silly first but was in fact genius:
After it was first aired in December 1999, it became a hit and different parodies began to use the phrase, from Saturday Night Live to homemade online videos. The ad series was one of the most acclaimed and popular commercial campaigns in modern advertising history, won almost every major award and became a cultural catchphrase, also outside the US, and is still famous today, after almost 20 years .
There are commercials I didn’t include in my video because they didn’t use the phrase, were not really famous, and I didn’t want the video to last for 50 hours, for example “Couch”, “Pizza”, “Burger King”, and I’m certain some others I don’t even know. There was also an ad for the presidential campaign 2008 based on the Whassup campaing but it wasn’t part of it and also not a Bud light commercial. There were also a lot of countless parodies from Greg The Bunny “Father & Son Reunion” to Falling In Reverse "Good Girls Bad Guys", from Barney in “How I met your mother” to “Central Intelligence” with Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson that were to short or didn’t mention it.

5:53 i lost it. i remember first seeing this back in like 2004-2005 when i didnt have internet and a friend of mine had and he downloaded some videos like this one from the internet and send them over to me on a CD. Those were the days

@@DaliborTruhlar No one makes commercials like this anymore. Too slick. Too (trying to be hip) not hip. Too unrelatable. But these stayed with us for years. But I must say, the ads with the great Clydesdales are the very best. "Twin Towers" being an example of how timeless good art could remain.

Still, one of the most creative commercial concepts ever created ! Budweiser had a brilliant marketing firm. From the clydesdale horses playing football, to this, great, fun advertising.
