Just got positive Covid test yesterday. Four days prior I felt tiredness, constant coughing, congestion, hot and cold chills, loss of appetite, headache on left side, frequent urination, I want to say that it came on Monday. Today being Friday I still have symptoms. …

Currently have Covid. 8 days ago I thought I was coming down with it then felt fine for a couple of days. Then 5 days ago my throat got sore that night which progressed to being achy. Woke up the next morning with a terrible headache. Those first 48hrs were sleeping, headache, body aches, slight congestion, chills and shivers mostly during night, and fluctuating fever from 99.9 to peaking at around 102.7. Fever broke after that. I'm on day 5 since onset of sore throat/fever, etc. A couple of symptoms different than the past couple of times I've had it are eye pain and gas. The symptoms I've experienced so far are:
    -Sore throat
    -Fever
    -Body Aches/ Feeling Crappy
    -Headache
    -Eye/Behind Eye pain when moving
    -Extreme Gassiness
-Supressed appetite in waves with random mild nausea
    -Blocked/Stuffy Nose
    -Random Sneezes
    -Ear Pain/Pressure/Feeling Full or Blocked
    -Random Sharp Pains
-Bottom of Feet Hurt When Standing to Walk
-Stuffy Sinuses/Feeling Like Chest is Tight With Mucus That's About to Start Breaking it up
    -Worse Anxiety/Worry/Depression
    -Irritability
    -Increased Thirst
-Taste is Fully Present, but Tastes Different. Bitter Sometimes
-Dripping but Also Stopped Up Nose
-Clicking and Painful Ears (Whole Area From Head to Collarbone
(Husband and oldest daughter similar, except theyve had a cough too, as well as diarrhea for a day)
Note: None of us Have Ever Been Vaccinated.

Everyone in our household has Covid.
We all originally thought we had sinus infections throat pain, congestion, stuffiness of ears. Then there was chest pain which then extended to the full body. Very very bad pains, fevers chills, congestion in chest and nose, excruciating headaches. I’ve had Covid before and the weird subtleness stood out to me at beginning.

Got Covid for the first time 3 weeks ago. I've had all the vaccines and boosters etc. up until this last JN.1 variant as my city really didn't make it a big deal about it. My symptoms started with feeling really down/off, like I knew I was getting sick really fast within 3 hours; bad headache, weird feeling in my eyes. Went home from work on my lunch break and tested positive. I was freezing the first day and half (even though I had only a very very mild fever) and headache was still bad. Then my head got filled up with pressure and I felt dizzy and unsteady gait. Super stuffed up! Like I felt my nasal passages and brain were swollen and had a tight belt around my head. Lost taste and smell. Thank goodness my lungs were not too affected during the bad days. I tested negative last Sunday the 25th of Feb. Was able to return to work, but my eyes are really bad, dry and itchy. Not like Pink Eye, just messed up. Also, I still sound stuffed up to people who know me, and a bit tired still. The lungs are now breaking up. My eyes are really worrying me as I am an artist. So, I will probably be seeing my Dr. about this. ~ The recovery will probably take a while for me as I have Hashimotos Autoimmune. But at least I can return to normal daily duties.

      @DrJenCaudle QUESTION:
DID PEOPLE WHO GET VACCINATED STILL GET COVID?
      ANSWER:
      YES.
      NEXT QUESTION:
      ARE VACCINATED PEOPLE CONTRACTING JN.1?
      ANSWER:
      YES.
I AM A CERTIFIED CHIEF PHYSICIAN AND I CANNOT SUPPORT THIS MADNESS.
HERE YOU ARE TELLING PEOPLE TO GET VACCINATED WHEN THEY CAN STILL GET COVID AND JN.1.
THAT WOULD MEAN THAT IT IS NOT PROTECTION YOU.
AND YOU SAID THAT THOSE THAT HAVE OR HAD COVID ARE CONTRACTING JN.1.
I AM PRETTY SURE THAT MOST IF NOT ALL OF THEM ARE VACCINATED.
YOU SHOULD BE FIRED AND SUED.

HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT THE VACCINE IS NOT WHAT IS CAUSING THIS OUTBREAK?

My family recently caught COVID in October. My household never caught it until this October. Afterwards I was like thank God it wasn't that bad, remember at the beginning the symptoms of it were horrible? Apparently it's not that bad this time around, feels like a regular cold, depending on how well you keep up with your health.
My children had mild symptoms, we all were really exhausted.
My symptoms were exhaustion, a day of body aches. OMG I can't explain the pain I felt in the lower half of my body, my legs felt like jello and hurt at the same time.
My youngest was hospitalized, but that's because he has Sickle Cell, the COVID aggravated his sickle cell, he had a 104 temp, for SC patients high temps are critical, because Viruses and bacterial infections send SC patients into pain a crisis.
We were all tested for COVID at the hospital and I don't remember hearing this variant come up, so idk if we had this one or not.
We all slept for days 😂 though I do know that. Exhaustion is a real big symptom of it.
And this time it seems like COVID is mimicking a cold, and COVID can be asymptomatic so people might think they have a regular cold but indeed have COVID.
So be careful out there everyone, don't let your guard down and keep your mask up. Especially when going out into public.
And if you have any pre-existing conditions, please please please take care of yourself. Now is the time to do any doctor visits if you can ❤

I’m currently getting over COVID and I can say it sucks. It started as a mild sore throat and that night I had post nasal drip. I tested negative at home because I knew I was exposed at Christmas.
The next day my legs were sore, I started to lose my voice, and it felt like I had tons of junk in my chest that I couldn’t clear. When I went up my stairs it felt like I was on my 30th flight of stairs which is crazy because I typically run several miles a week. I tested negative at home again.
The following day (day three of symptoms) is when it hit me. 102 plus fevers all day, body aches, and I started coughing up yellow crap. You have to keep coughing to clear that stuff. Today is day four and I had a terrible headache earlier and body aches, but that it’s getting better. I also feel like everything smells bland, which is very very odd. It’s like walking around smelling a freshly painted house or something. I tested positive at a drive through test site.
This is my first time getting Covid. I honestly felt like I had Flu A strand, but it came on much slower (which is probably why it’s so contagious).

The 6th and 7th day I had a headache behind my eyes, eyes watered, sneezing alot, weird aches in my arms and legs (what we used to call growing pains when we were very young or bone aches) and complete loss of smell and taste. The 8th day I had a bit of diarrhea and coughing up lots of mucus. I haven't had anyhing like this since my children were small. I am 58 years old today and spent most of the day taking it easy. The fatigue wasn't bad. My husband faired better this round than I. My doctor told me last time, "rest when you are tired and walk around when you aren't". That's what I have been doing. I caught it for the first time November flying home masked from a medical appointment. My symptoms started with a slight cough for two days. So slight I attributed it to flying from a place where it was cold to a place where it was warm. Day three I tested out of precaution and was shocked to see a postive. That night I got hit with an intense headache that I thankfully was able to sleep through. It was resolved by morning. I noticed my appetite was off the entire time. I am a sushi lover and the day I showed symptoms I ordered sushi for dinner and it resembled fish bait to me. I never skip meals but didn’t want it and found that unusual. The next few days I was averse to anything that wasn’t liquid or a smoothie. Then I was able to tolerate things like ez Mac and cheese. I wouldn’t eat anything that had different textures or wasn’t soft. Essentially solid food seemed like biting into a rock. A kidney bean reminded me of a bug. Strangest food stuff ever. By day three I took paxlovid and metformin both of which my doctors wanted me on to avoid long covid bc I have multiple health conditions including POTS which a lot of people get post covid. This was always the plan to not exacerbate my preexisting issue. Day three I had a sore throat but it was lower than a regular sore throat usually is. I’ve had worse sore throats but it persisted for another day. Day four I had the fatigue everyone talks about. It comes out of nowhere and makes you feel drugged. I assumed I wouldn’t feel it bc my conditions already cause me a great deal of fatigue but this was incredibly different. It reminds me of the scene in the wizard of oz where the witch puts a curse on dorthey, the tin man and the scarecrow in the poppy fields where they all start dropping like flies so they can’t make it to emerald city. It literally is like someone put a curse on you. Thankfully the next day I was fine. I should add up until this time I was well enough to run basic errands and even grocery shop, pick up meds ect and of course I went out masked in an N95 to protect others. The fatigue day was the only day I was home bound. I also noticed some neuropsychiatric symptoms on day 5 and 6, crying, emotional, cranky ect for no reason in particular. I also became incredibly into Taylor swift music. I liked her before but the covid variant made me borderline obsessed her with songs. I spent the rest of my recovery watching the reputation tour as the eras one wasn’t out yet. I found that incredibly strange. That part isn’t a joke at all. Another thing that was weird was along with the emotional symptoms and Taylor swift obsession I also felt like peoples personalities were robotic to me. It was like no one had any emotion. At one point I dubbed my mom “robot” and whatever she said I would just say “ok robot”. I asked my doctor about all this and he said he thinks it was all brain inflammation. My appetite came back and I started eating normally again. The only thing that was constant and that remained the entire time was the cough and it’s not how I imagined it. It was deep and dry with no congestion but not frequent. I was blessed that at night I didn’t cough at all. I had some shortness of breathe after talking long periods. I ended up testing negative on day 11 but was still coughing. It turns out I was left with bronchitis for a few weeks after testing negative. I was subsequently treated with an inhaler and steroids. I am vaccinated but only the primary series and one booster. My doctors decided it was best for me to not be further vaccinated after I had a allergic reaction to my last booster. The worst part was being left with chest pain not from covid but from coughing so hard from bronchitis. That took the longest to heal. I was about 90
Percent recovered when my sister came in for the holidays and infected me with another random virus that wasn’t cold/ flu or strep. The sore throat on that was far worse than Covid. My 80 year old father had been vaccinated from hell to high water. We call him Bob the booster bandit. He had recently been vaccinated a month prior with the omicron booster. It’s interesting bc his symptoms were less than mine. He had a tiny cold. I’m pretty sure I had the JN1 variant bc I got it in an airport or on an airplane around when it was first circulating. It’s a totally different virus than it was several years ago. My experience was very weird but thankfully can be classified as mild. I know other people were not so lucky early on and my heart is with them and their families.

Wired, but simaler thing happened to me, I’d wake up every night at 430-5am and have random songs stuck in my head(which isn’t normal for me) and I’d know way to many words to songs I don’t even care about. There was a lot more but wanna keep it short. Also had a sore hip/leg going on 3 months now, like a pinched nerve, many inflammation who knows.

I initially had Covid before the vaccine was released and I thought I was experiencing a chemical burn in my lungs because it hurt so much. I ended up going to the doctor but nothing could be done and was told to do OTC meds. The other symptoms I had were fatigue, fever, itchy throat, etc.
I then got vaccinated and was okay for a good long while. I went to New Mexico for a work conference and made a vacation out of it and returned just last week. The next day after returning home my throat was itching so badly. I thought maybe I accidentally inhaled dust. The first two days were just itchy throat, watery eyes, and congestion.
The third day I thought I was going to die. I had an intense fever and was so fatigued I couldn’t move from my bed. I was incredibly dizzy and lightheaded and kept sneezing. My eyes, ears, etc were all continuously running and even worse my stomach started hurting. I suddenly became incredibly nauseous and couldn’t eat even soup and over the following hours my stomach started swelling and felt like a sharp pain. I couldn’t go to the restroom or throw up. It just eventually went away.
The two days I still had extreme fatigue and all of the previous symptoms aside from the stomach pain.
I am now currently on the 6th day of having symptoms and last night I was worried I wasn’t breathing enough while sleeping. It kept me from sleeping well at night and I put on a o2 monitor (finger) at home so it’d wake me up if it dropped too low. I kept feeling like I wasn’t getting enough air. No crackling in my lungs or anything just feels as if my lungs are fatigued or something. I can manually breathe deeply.
I still feel just “off”. My breathing sounds fine and my resting HR is normal (my normal) at around 50-70 BPM. I’m much less congested today but feel like something is in my throat, my throat still itches, I’m a bit nauseous, and definitely still experiencing fatigue/fogginess.

Ok, I just got covid for the first time 😒. Started on Friday evening with a sore throat. The next day I had a full blown 100+ fever, my head felt like it weighed a ton, headache, ear ache, sore throat, no cough(yet), chills(sometimes I felt hot and cold), my eyes were wet, and stuffy/runny nose. This continued up until Monday night. Tuesday I got tested and was told I had covid at this time my fever broke and it was 98.3. I starting to get stomach pains two day ago. My stomach has been upset for few days.... I thought it was the dayquil, but it was the covid variant. So right now runny nose and coughing to cough up phelgm/sputum are my last symptoms. Dr. Prescribed me with benzonatate for cough. The worst was the sore throat and the fever I was so hot my body felt like I was near a oven!! Also note my heart was racing more than normal during the last 3 days with covid.

However I doubled up on zinc and vitamins C and magnesium. I also took day and nighttime cold & flu meds. It's the 8th right now having a loss of appetite. For that, I drank a high protein boost. I am ill with COVID right now. I have had symptoms for 7 days, and have tested positive for 4 days. Initially (when testing negative) I only had a mildly elevated temperature. Once positive, I had a sore throat, a stuffy and runny nose, a headache, a neck ache, and my temperature went up quite a bit. At its worst, my temperature was 102.8. I was concerned if it climbed much more, I would have to go to the ER. Thankfully, I quickly went on Paxlovid once I tested positive, and my nose and throat symptoms went away in about 2 days. My temperature went down to the 99.5 range also after 2 days. As of right now (day 3 of Paxlovid) my temperature is in the 99s, and I feel a bit weak/tired, with a mild headache. I am still testing positive on antigen testing, but it is more of a faint positive.

I was just Covid positive on New Year’s Eve. My symptoms started with watery eyes runny nose and out of the ordinary joint pain on December 30 thought it was just seasonal allergies took OTC allergy medication. Woke the morning of the 31st with temperature 100.1 and I could not smell anything and then I knew it must be Covid, so I took the test, and of course I was positive. I had extremely high fevers ( 104.3 ) the whole day of the 31st and I started plaxlovid on that day. This is my fourth time having Covid and only the second time losing taste and smell. On my last three Covid cases it started with sore throat and headache. I do not normally get headaches so to me that’s a sign of Covid but this time I did not get a headache at all. It is probably because I was treating the fevers with Tylenol and Aleve. Feeling much better today have been a afebrile all day with no fever reducing medication. this is my third time using Plaxlovid, for me, it really helps. I have not had any rebound Covid cases from using it in the past. Hopefully I will not this time as well.

I’m in the mend so makes sense for it to be faint though I genuinely am just in shock, I also accidentally exposed my coworkers to it so I made a call to my work to inform them asap before my results were done as well afterwords. They now are enacting our Portocall and I’m not working for awhile until I’m deemed safe to return meaning I’m cleared from covid. It started with my body temperature dropping me during a concert at a festival and from there once home seemed like a typical cold, I could breath not normal but, where as I had it before it was a a major struggle to breathe when I got covid so it just never crossed my mind. I do want to note that the stomach seems more upset during this time both at the beginning and when I’m nearing the end of the infection.

@@winwinner4851 So, I did a telehealth to get a better understanding what this new variant is and whatever is going around now is targeting more so the sinus, head, and throat. Not so much the chest like when the first COVID wave reeked havoc on us.
As a rule of thumb now, from the start of the symptoms there is a 5-7 day window for the ability to spread.
I was prescribed some prednisone to take for the next 6 days and fluticasone nasal spray.
The part that had me anxious and worried was the fact that I COULD NOT sleep for 2 days and the headache was unbearable. Not even tylenol or ibuprofen helped.
      That has subsided though.
As far as the sleeping goes, i take some full spectrum cbd which helps some.
Takeaways... Stay hydrated if you do get it. If no appetite, drink some broth, but definitely stay hydrated. The dry mouth and nasal drip isn't anything I've experienced before.

I don‘t get how loss of sense of smell/taste is supposed to be so Covid specific. I always lost my sense of smell/taste whenever I caught a cold! Not one exception! I had Covid very early 2020 and I had several symptoms that I would see as more specific than loss of smell/taste. The extremely dry cough coming from nowhere in an instant for example. Or the unusually high fever I had as well as a racing heartbeat while I just lay down (sitting to laying down) and shortness of breath without really moving. Ok, I get it, the symptoms changed anyway with the new variants but I always found it strange to say that loss of smell/taste was so covid specific. It was always one of the first symptoms for me to know that I contracted a cold.

I have Covid just now. Tested positive 36 hours ago. Symptoms are:
    Runny nose and blocked nose
    Headache
    Temperature
I’ve been in bed all day today and now starting to feel better. I’ve been taking paracetamol to bring the temperature down. I’ve not taken any in 10 hours now and the temperature has not returned so I’m hoping I’m on my way to recovery. I’m not vaccinated (not because I don’t want to but because they say I’m not old enough).

CXR was clear and o2 sat was good but I put off going to the dr for about 4 days after dealing with dry cough and headache. Finally went and got put on azithromycin which within hrs of taking loosened up my chest and started producing ugly mucus. Currently just feel minor body aches and constant URI nasal drainage and have also lost my taste and smell.

I was working at the Dallas VA Hospital when covid first broke out and it was mandatory for us to get the shots. So I got them, then a few months down the road I had a runny nose and a slight cough, so my supervisor made me go to employee health and I tested positive, so I was sent home for 5 days, all I did was Grease my throat and chest with Vicks Vapor Rub and in a few days I was fine! I'm just curious if they just automatically call the Flu, COVID??? I seem to nevva hear anyone say that they just have the FLU anymore? Thank you for your videos, I really appreciate you ❤!!!

Are you seeing sore throat as popular symptoms? I haven't tested for Covid but my throat hurts. It feels like glass cut it and hurts to breathe. I also have small red spots in my mouth (throat area) that I think are petechiae. When I lay my head down I can hear liquid in my ear and my right ear feels clogged. The throat issue is the MOST uncomfortable though. I can barely swallow! I hope it isn't Covid but these symptoms are so strange. It feels like an allergy, almost. A very intense allergy. I thought I was having an allergic reaction so I spent the week cleaning everything - and the "allergy" persisted. Lol.

I'm relatively healthy & current with my vaccinations. This is my third time getting it and it's been the worst. I also tested positive for strep throat. I think it's Day 9 for being sick overall. I started with a scratchy (not sore) throat and sinus congestion. But on Day 5 I had a fever, an actual sore throat, in addition to my sinus infection.
So I don't know if it works like this, but I'm calling that my Day 0 for COVID-19. Now I'm on Day 4. I started Paxlovid on Day 2. Since then, congestion has spread to the chest, I started having pink eye on both eyes and twice have woken up with eyes sealed shut.
The nostrils and throat feel very raw from the coughing and blowing my nose. OTC Dayquil is helping me bare it along with just resting. My sense of taste and smell are altered but not completely lost. Also, thank goodness for tissues with lotion.
I was given Paxlovid because I do have a higher BMI than 25 and my fever didn't begin until "Day 7"so I think my provider agreed with when I said it didn't feel like COVID-19 until Day 5, so resetting the count, I'm on Day 4, within the 5 days of having COVID-19 symptoms.
