Hi there, thank you for watching! I would be happy to make some recommendations. This series of videos (the videos on my "Research Methods" playlist) are mostly based on a text by Creswell and Creswell that I referenced below. It is the text that I use for a graduate course that I teach about research methods and I highly recommend it. Depending on what exactly you would like to learn more about, I could suggest different books for you. There is a book that I like a lot be DeVellis (referenced below) that does a great job of discussing scale development for quantitative instruments. I hope this helps, and if there are other areas of research methodology that you would like book recommendations for, just ask!
Creswell, J. W., & Creswell, J. D. (2018). Research design: Qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods approaches (5th ed.). Sage.
DeVellis, R. F. (2012). Scale development: Theory and applications (3rd ed.). Sage.

Hi! please help me. Can u explain this.. i cant really understand it. 'Zero-in on a survey method' - Many qualitative and quantitative research methods can be discussed and decided. Focus groups, online interviews, surveys, polls, questionnaires, etc. can be carried out with the pre-decided sample of individuals. Thank you!!

Hi Umji, it is simply saying that you need to choose or focus on one survey method. You could focus on a qualitative or quantitative method, and they listed several examples for you to consider. Are these instructions for an assignment in a class you are taking? I encourage you to reach out to your instructor for help or further explanation so you can find out exactly what they are asking you to do. I hope that helps!
