River Plate and Donnington get most of the attention on RUclips but this is a little gem of a concert that deserves more acclaim. I agree with others here that they actually sound better in a smaller venue. No pyrotechnics, no theatrics....just Brian belting out the lyrics in 104F heat.
Agree, There are songs like For those about to rock that sounds WAY better in River plate or Madrid, but songs like this and Rock n' roll ain't noise pollution are GEMS. 10/10
Whoever mixed this concert for the DVD deserves a medal, or at least a few cases of beer. It's usually a problem that Malcolm is mixed too low on most live DVD releases, but this is just big, fat and full.
far better in a smaller venue, wished they'd do a few shows in smaller venues again, seen them 4 times at the Edinburgh Playhouse in the 80s (no mobile phones and nae need for agiant screen), can still remember the original bell coming down and brian giving it a good whack with the old metal hammer and the noise bellowing throughout the theatre - no the fibreglass one they have now.... I can't believe it's been TWO FREAKIN' YEARS since the greatest rhythm guitarist of all time left us. Rock in Peace, dear Malcolm, you will always be alive in our hearts. AC⚡DC Forever
The thing I love about AC/DC is that they make me feel like I've been friends with them for years, even though I haven't met them. I feel like I'm having a conversation with them when I watch stuff like interviews even though I've never been able to say anything to them. They always puts a smile on my face and make me happy, ever since I first got into AC/DC before I could walk. thank you AC/DC. You've inspired me as a 17 year old to pick up my guitar, microphone, drums and bass and give it my best shot to make more rock n roll in the world.

Nauris Ozols Shut up bon Scott better brain screams on this song bon Scott sings better then him if you think brain better you probertly never listen to bon Scott
@@Nau4aa comparing anyone better than Bon is a miscarriage of his legacy. Bon took AC/DC to world wide popularity. if not for Bon, it is a fair assumption that they may never have broken out. that being said... Brian Johnson is undeniably the only one who could have kept them rocking into the "new millennium".
I just love this song! I am sick in bed but still practicing. Also having an anxiety attack. I have my PRS laying across my stomach snd I am playing and it’s taking my mind off of this stupid flu and this anxiety. ACDC, thank you for the many years of awesome rock n roll. A serious life saver! Angus and Eddie. The two biggest influences in my life! RIP Malcolm
I listened to AC/DC by the first time with Brian... but then, I became a Bon's fan! But yeah, Brian rocks this song greatly! No better, no worse than Bon, it's Brian's style! it's pretty good.
This gig was pure magic, they had more of that old-days sound, especially Mal who had a chunkier sound again. Whole band totally rocking, Brian sounding great... A joy to watch.
The one and only rocking machine. Killer riff and groove. We are all very lucky to be alive and having seen this monster of rock live! Our kids and grandkids will have to do with youtube and all our anecdotes (until our last breath) of having been contemporary to one of the very very few greatest rock bands in history.
Thank You Mr Malcolm Young For 18 Great Concerts over a 31 year Period The Memories Are Always With Me From 14 to 45 Years old And Yes Memories That Last A Lifetime
Thegamer101135 eh thats true they still played it but it does not sound as powerful with Malcolm and Phil out but Stive does a good job more of the same style but Malcolm has better discipline then Stive Young and more attack with his pick
Anyone who says Brian’s voice is shot and he can’t sing don’t know what their talking about. His voice has aged sure, but his voice is in miraculous shape for how much he smokes lol. He’s still got vibrato, good pitch, great control, I can’t find anything wrong with his later performances. He has to adjust to his age sure, but that should come expected when you watch him perform at that age. And he greatly surpasses my expectations time and time again with how much his voice has aged well.
I agree! I've come to really enjoy his music with Geordie and I like his voice. He sounds really different with his first band, but it's good. I particularly like their version of "House of the rising sun"
sin dudas la banda más grosa de todos los tiempos del hard rock incomparables !!! desde Argentina abrazo grande para todos estos oídos finos que aprecian está genialidad

In my opinion Powerage was AC/DC's best album by far. It has that raw hard driving rib crunching skull crushing no-nonsence sound to it. Every single song on that album stands out in a big way as the apitome of the band's sound. The songs also sound great when Brian sings them as this video is proof of that as I am sure most of you will agree.

Right! Nailed it
Their best imo
I agree
And if I remember correctly,
Keith Richards agrees too
Her sister album, "Let There Be Rock" is crucial to AC/DC and rock fans as well. A desert island pick for me for sure.

David Atanas when the groove is a boring 4/4 he does a good job at dragging the rest of the band into mediocrity
