For all you gear heads out there... Notice the Marshall Plexi Heads back there on this tour. Those things have no gain knob. It's literally all knobs turned completely to 10 to drive that thing. Loudest thing you ever heard in your life in a small place. But INCREDIBLE TONE and BITE! That is the secret to their sound. It's the sound they returned to after the Razor's Edge - back to basics.
+Daniel Petrucci - He did use Wizard for the Razor's edge tour, but switched back to Marshall for Ballbreaker and beyond. You can see the plexi heads next to Mal in this vid. They both use the JTM 45 (AKA Plexi).
