@@WeRNthisToGetHer You're right, there are many abusers who were at some point abused themselves. However, my point was if a person is living with an abuser and is fearful, I don't think the abused would speak, act and provoke their abuser in the way observed in video and audioclips. JD does the right thing when an argument escalates, he is trying to leave to take a time out to avoid violence which is the right thing to do and she doesn't want that because she wants him to do something to justify herself and place the blame on him. She taunts him with the fact that because he is a man, he is bigger that no one would believe he is not abusing her if she claimed so. That in itself is threatening. From what I've heard and seen, it is clear who is abusing mentally and physically.

What we have learned from the Johnny Depp / Amber Heard trial:
    - A woman can hold a drug addiction trial against a man when the trial is about defamation
    - A woman can ADMIT MULTIPLE TIMES she physically hurt a man but still be out free, enjoying herself
    - A man can be trauma-bonded into submission
    - A man can love hard and be fearful of failure in a relationship and force himself to stay
    - A woman can mock a man and call him a “baby” when he tells her not to hit him; “I didn’t punch you, I hit you. You’re such a baby!” (Imagine if a man said that to a woman)
    - A woman can illegal record a man without his consent and get away with it
    - A man can battle addictions but like everyone else, cannot battle it alone without support
    - A man can get clean and be open about his addiction struggles but then is openly condemned and mocked on a world stage for having addiction struggles
    - A man can lose his career over allegations but a woman with the same keeps her job
    - A man is not allowed to defend himself in court without ridicule and harassment
    - A MAN CAN BE A VICTIM OF ABUSE AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

What drives me crazy about this case is that, even after all of the violence she perpetrated against him, if he had physically defended himself EVEN ONCE then he would be finished. It's sickening how this man had to live each day knowing he had no choice but to take it - day after day after day - and could never once protect himself or else that one time would be enough to hang him. This state of affairs, where men have to allow themselves to be women's punching bags because the laws are purposefully stacked against them, is indefensible and unforgivable.

Some ppl on the internet are saying that they're both at fault? How?? All the audio and videos that SHE recorded show her baiting him, or restraining him, or admitting to violence, etc. His voice, more often than not, is calm despite her badgering of him. His patience is extraordinary. And when he's out of patience he takes a break so both can calm down. JD extracting himself from an unhealthy situation is NOT abuse, even if AH cries "you're killing me" by leaving.
In the kitchen video, he's obviously agitated, but not violent TO HER. She is clearly baiting him, almost giggling, not a person who seems afraid of being hit.
So he called her a c*nt and wrote frustrated texts to friends. As if he's not allowed to have human feelings. She is exhausting.

In my experience, women/mothers are the abusers as often as the men. I remember always being by very curious about peoples position on “dead beat dads”. I never saw any? It was always the mothers, including my own, that were the deadbeats.
My father was antagonized and drug through the mud in DISGUSTING ways, but he never let me down and he never ragged on my mom. He always told me “in the grand scheme of things, this will pass”. He was right.
I moved in with him the second I was old enough to make the decision of who I wanted to live with, at 13. Unfortunately, there was already a lot of damage done and I lost the ability for many years, the capacity to be a good daughter to him. We are thick as thieves now. He is my hero. The psychologist's description of BPD and Heard's behavior made my blood run cold because years ago I dated a girl who behaved exactly the same way (she would constantly switch back and forth between treating me like I was a literal saint and then a piece of human garbage, it was wild). Fortunately I broke up with her after a few months because it was just exhausting me and I was too focused on school to really put effort into a relationship anyway. Thank god I did, who knows how that would've ended up. I hope Depp cleans out that awful woman's bank account.
Edit since this is blowing up: This scenario played out to its end is exactly what happened to Will Smith. Anybody who's seen the horrific clips of him actively being cucked on his wife's podcast, and her asinine instagram clips humiliating him, knows exactly what I'm talking about. The damage a woman can do to a man when she is full of malevolence is beyond description, only a woman can destroy a man's soul.
Additional Edit: When this lovely woman was in her 'high phase', she literally tracked down my GRANDMOTHER'S address and wrote her a two page letter describing how awesome I was and how happy she was dating me. After FOUR WEEKS of dating. My gamgam's reaction was, and I quote, "Um, she seems nice...but a bit intense. You be careful dear." As soon as I heard about this my skin started to crawl and that was the beginning of the end. So, note to other young men who are dating, if she's contacting family members of yours out of the blue, drop her like a hot potato.

This man is abused and lost work because of lies. I house male DV victims, at any given time I have a group of men that are in similar situations.
Erin Pizzey, feminist who founded the first women's shelter in UK, tried bringing attention to this issue as far back as the 70s when her work led to showing half her intakes were also abusive to men...and she was removed from her own shelter for suggesting a men's shelter.
And you...made it about women. Good job. This is why it's such an issue, no one can have the conversation without a crowd taking attention from the male victims to focus on women.

When I did my own research I was already seeing Amber’s contradictions and fake bruises and it broke my heart to see this happening to him. Fast forward 5 something years later and I’m so happy he’s finally getting justice because even though I wasn’t as big of a fan as I was in middle school it outraged me to hear people talking about him like that when I knew for a fact that he was being falsely accused. Especially when I learned that women tend to be the abusers in relationships (especially lesbians) but since men can throw harder punches they’re the ones that get blamed for it all

I'm a 52 year old, two war veteran, well trained, very strong physically, and I can severely injure people with my bare hands. I got married in 1993, and in 1994 after my older daughter was born my ex began to get progressively more violent. I was 25, 230lbs of muscle, and if a man had done what my ex did, he might not have survived it. She is bipolar, and she seemed to really enjoy digging at my PTSD triggers. I never hit her, only ever restrained her from hitting and scratching me, until the police told me I would go to jail for restraining her even with open hands. I had to either let her hit me, or I could try to leave. If I left then she would take it out on the kids. She was always using the kids to manipulate me. If I did something nice for her, she would feel guilty, then start a fight and escalate it until I engaged and stopped her. Then she could feel like a victim.
She told everyone it was me who did that, the cops always wanted to take me away, despite no marks on her and I was usually bleeding and wearing ripped clothing when they showed up. She hurled a coffee mug at the back of my head while I played with our two little girls, she cut me several times, and she ripped shirts off me all the time. She continued doing it even after the divorce, when I would come pick up my daughters, and of course I was always at fault. I've been hit by all kinds of things she threw at me. I knew if I defended myself, I was going to jail. In the divorce they took 71% of my gross pay for child support, she took my kids 1500 miles away so I only got 12 days over the next 7 years with them. They are 25 and 28 now, I was robbed of their childhood, and they were robbed of my guidance and time with them.
She was finally paid off in 2015, and I could get on with my life without being indentured to her by the state. They rewarded her for all of that, and punished me for being a good dad who spent as much time as possible with my kids. I taught them to crawl, walk, talk, shapes, colors, numbers, letters, math, reading, how to run a PC, how to ride a bike. Being a dad was the high point of my life... until she took off with them in 2001 and I missed years with them. I have been run over, hit by cars, bludgeoned, in car accidents, beaten unconscious, I came back from my last deployment in 2004 barely able to walk, and I live in constant pain. However, the worst thing to ever happen to me was her and the state taking my kids from me, then punishing me for what she did.
You know what though? Nobody cares, men are always guilty, and I will be damn surprised if anyone actually gets to read this ... because most of my comments are only visible to me lately. It seems they do not want anyone to hear about men like me, who wanted to be good dads, but were prevented from even seeing his kids.
Since 2015 I have been putting in the effort to rebuild my life, so I can leave something for my kids. I bought land in 2013, built my home and shop in 2015 when I finally had my entire income available to me. I sacrificed, saved, and lived as frugally as possible so I could pay it all off early. I built my house and shop myself, enduring the pain, finding ways around my physical limitations, and I am still working on it. I do the old car thing because its the only reason I am still here. The old beat up ratty GTOs and other rusty heaps are the only thing I was able to keep. The only investment I was not deprived of, the only thing the state and her didn't want.
My life is pretty damn good now. I can only imagine where I would be if I had never gotten married, and had her holding me back, making life hell for 21 years. Want to know whats up with her? She is over 300lbs, turns 50 next year, is addicted to oxy, her 2nd husband has left her as he has had enough of her controlling behavior and violence. She has been trying to get me back, and I think I would sooner jump in a sausage grinder than allow her into my life again.
I can see why Johnny would slam some cabinets. He was in the same position I was, and it took years for me to get beyond the anger you have from being mistreated and the police support the person doing it to you. He had no way out other than to leave, and even then everyone will blame him for it. People always think its something he did to set her off, not that she is simply like that. People always think the man deserves it and she is innocent. I know... it happened to me.
Yeah.. I know, nobody will read this. I still have to write it. It helps to write about it.

I love how people talk about how this hurts female victims, that it makes it harder to believe them. As true as that might be, it is so much more a proof that even with a mountain of evidence and wealth, a man will never be legally believed, no matter what. And even if he has world wide support by fans, recordings of events, unanimous agreement by witnesses that he tried to leave and was never violent along side her history of violence and abuse, lying, fabricating, manipulating, hiding legal charges etc etc etc etc etc etc.....he is STILL the one who has to work desperately and tirelessly just to clear his name, while she sits and does nothing because people won't admit she's the abuser.
Yet, with all this, it is female victims who are being given a harder time getting believed? I think not.
This entire farce of a trial is only happening and necessary specifically because females are believed over all contrary evidence, and male victims are not believed in spite of all their supporting evidence.

I’m a man, and I’ve been the victim of Domestic abuse.
I can tell you from experience, you can be pushed HARD down a hallway, 5,6,7 times but once your back hits a wall and there’s no further way to retreat, you will be pushed AGAINST that wall 2,3,4 more times. And I can tell you now, you WILL eventually push them back, and in that moment you can escape the house. Additionally, having someone throw you out multiple times is a form of abuse too, especially when you aren’t the official tenant of your home. The threat of homelessness is real. I used to sit on a bench in the winter and try to withstand the cold for as long as I could, but I always had to go crawling back because I had nowhere else to go. Towards the end it descended into me fleeing to the bedroom and being punched in the face, and I was in such a bad place I just wept like a baby.
I’m glad I’m not in that relationship any more, and I will never allow myself to be put in that situation again. 12 years on I have a loving family and 3 beautiful Daughters.
There is always hope, there is always a safe place for you out there if you can get away from your abuser.

Self control is not one of their strong suits. Charm and manipulation is though, and JD fell for it, just like any other person would who wasn't looking for the signs of an abuser. A lot of domestic abuse cases are 'he said, she said' cases, and in such cases society and the courts are inclined to give more credibility to what she said. This case hits close to home for me, since my experience with abuse is very similar to Johnny's, the only real difference being my abuser was my own mother and Johnny's is his Ex...
She's still trying to Abuse him in court through use of visual triggers such as Mirroring but he's not letting it get to him, when you've got experience with it you pick up on all the small things that abusers do and for those that don't have experience they usually learn after they become more aware. (Oh you covered it in the video)
The psychologist they pulled in also backs up that she is very subtle and sophisticated with the way she does things so as to make her mental state less noticeable.
When johnny says he's going because he needs space and they can talk about it later, he's trying to lay down some boundaries so that they don't end up fighting and Amber just tells him no and basically disrespects his need for some space, The psychologist also addresses this too.

Captain Jack’s Keith Richard’s vibe just had him laughing. My father was an alcoholic and terribly abusive to my mother, totally decimated her. Johnny's case is the exact reason why, when you hear "stats say that men are 99% more aggressive than women", you should take it with a grain of salt. Women often get away with violent and aggressive behavior against men. Society allows it, as well. This is why the Domestic Violence stats that Feminists use in their arguments should always be readjusted. Women can be violent and often times are in arguments. Mentally and physically. They often lose the fights they pick against men, which makes men look like the aggressor. But this is akin to the Chihuahua picking a fight with a Rottweiler who isn't in the mood to "do this right now".

it usually starts about puberty against everyone and anyone.. I remember very clearly how vicious they would get with their friends only to be friends again the following week, and then repeating the same cycle over and over again..
kind of sad when you see young mothers doing the same thing to their kids, it looks like it is getting more common in that area..

@@crazysmall.artist People need to understand the stats and where they are coming from. "Grain of salt" in this context is not on any 'side' of an actual domestic violence situation, it is a 'grain of salt' toward as an example the feminist ran domestic violence shelters that profit from inflating the stats and not actually doing anything to end DV. Same thing in sexual abuse stats. There are people who are fraudulently claiming that women are more victimized by both when if the same methods are used switching the genders males end up being more victimized by both. An example: Mary Coss's research that claimed 1 in 4 women get graped while in collage. There is a study that did the exact same thing only with the genders switched that found approximately 1 in 4 men get graped in collage also. When everyone including the men it happens to ignores when a woman slaps her partner as some how not being violent the stats on DV are WAY OFF!

My first wife, let's just say she was a danger to me. As a man you have absolutely no defence against a woman. I eventually decided I had to kick her out for my own safety. I was lucky in that I had no real assets or high earnings so I got a divorce. Alas, I made sure to never have children with her and this helped contribute to how I now will never have the kids I always would have loved to have.

I've had several girlfriends since my divorce, and met them in several different ways from friend recommendations to church, and all of them have been some level of Amber Heard.
Maybe I'm just a magnet for crazy, but a lot of my friends are going through the same thing. Having children as a man in the 2020's just sounds like a trap.

I am sorry this happened to you. It goes beyond me how anyone would ever accept violent behaviour from anyone. As someone who has experienced violence from home, I drew this line for my relationships that I would never accept even a push. I've seen so any times girls abusing their guys in the middle of the street and nobody interfering there. But the guy would also always stay. I think we also need to teach boys to value themselves and have a higher self esteem than that.

I saw an account recently on Quora (the incident itself was years-old, however) regarding a woman whose daughter behaved much the same way. The daughter started screaming "Don't hit me," and I believe also throwing objects around.
The mother proceeded to go sit out on the porch and chill so that the neighbors could see that the girl was screaming bloody murder while no one else was even there, and certainly not in contact with her.

What we dont understand more than anything is that, we may never see J.Depp in another film again. This woman effectively destroyed one of the most talented and fearless actors of my generation. Johnny never wanted the spotlight and this case along with other allegations is what he was trying to avoid when he left 21 Jump Street and A. Heard knew that.
