    The key to the Chiefs, the heart of the team, is Travis Kelce. 1 catch for 1 yard in the first half, eight catches for almost 100 yards in the second & OT. He’s the best tight end ever, no doubt.

      Gronk is still the best he just didn't have as long a career as some of these other guys because he was so big and took big hits and actually blocked unlike some TE's.

      I grew up watching Gonzalez my whole childhood and now Kelce as an adult and Kelce has passed every other TE in the league ever!!! Look how many TD, Smith and Mahomes look how many 1,000 yard seasons he had he only needed a few yards this year. too and peopledo not give him credit for. Blocking!!! Dude can block for Pacheco and mahomes. .@20Schmidt

      Look how long Kelce had been doing it and still going!!! He has surpassed Gronk. and kelce does it facing the best CB/Safety from the other team every week sometimes double coverage which opens up his teammates

    Nick Bosa got owned 3 times on the final drive. The results - two 3rd down conversions by Mahomes running, and a TD by Mahomes passing. Have some corndog Nick.

    Ok guys, you can't compare what a dynasty was before 1994 and what it takes now to make one. The Packers, Steelers, 49ers and Cowboys lived in the Mesozoic Era with the dinosaurs. In the current Holocene, it's a helluva lot tougher to keep a good team together and so 'dynasties' have to be redefined. I think the current Chiefs dynasty started with the arrival of PM and in his de facto rookie year went to the AFC championship and played Brady toe to toe.

    • @ricosuave3377
      @ricosuave3377 9 месяцев назад +1

      Exactly dynasty’s before the salary cap and free agency don’t count. Still one of the greatest teams ever but can’t compare them as Steelers had like 8 HOFs on one team 🤣 no chance of keeping them together with the salary cap rules.

    • @GolfCourseCrew

      People don't realize his "sophomore" year 2018 was pretty much his 1st year because he didn't start behind Smith
      People forget we intercepted Brady in the afc championship game and that was first year of mahomes. When he was balling out 50+td 5,000+ yards. And dee Ford was offside.
      But that would have been mahomes 5 out of 6 years to the SUPERBOWL and his 1st year

    The Falcons' failure was absolutely on Shanahan for not managing the clock on offense once a big lead had developed. The failure 4 years ago was similar. He always finds a way to lose.

    • @malcolm2553
      @malcolm2553 9 месяцев назад +2

      atlanta was the more clear failure, imo. even including that he basically lost to the Goat and the baby Goat. kinda rough to hold that over his head

    • @ultrametric9317
      @ultrametric9317 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@malcolm2553 The Falcons should have milked every second off the play clock as soon as it was evident that the defense was gassed. Not only did they pass and miss, they left 10-20 seconds on the clock again and again. That turned out to be extremely important. It was something easily foreseen. He's always so into his schemes he forgets basic things.

    How can Florio be so incredibly delusional?? He criticizes these teams like he really thinks he would do better than these coaches….he says things, the most obvious things, thinking that the coaches didn’t think of that. how can you be a grown adult and be so gone in fantasy land. He’s so oblivious in his belief that he knows what he’s talking about (he’s always talking in hindsight btw) even though he couldn’t tell you what a corner does in cover 2. He’s Mr. Hindsight criticizer even though this shit was never ever on his radar before it happened but it’s supposed to be on the coaches mind. He’s a freaking lunatic

    IMHO what sets the Chiefs apart is the amount of buy-in you see from the entire team. With the 49ers dynasty the system was the thing. With the Steelers physicality was the thing. With the Cowboys it was speed and the fact Jimmy Johnson knew how to win. And with the Patriots, Belicheck and Brady were just that much smarter than everybody else. For Kansas City, it just seems like when the game is on the line every player is busting their butt with the same goal in mind. They were in danger of losing that in the middle of the season when the wide receiver corps started to come apart, but Rashee Rice started getting things right and finally MVS bought in in the middle of the playoffs and you saw the results. That many talented players led by that coach working toward a common goal can go a long way.

  • @Chebornek
    @Chebornek 9 месяцев назад +6

    Imagine Gronk doing that to Belicheck.

      No one would have ever done that to Belichick because everybody was scared of him. Reid commands respect but not fear, and he also acknowledged in interviews after the game what Kelce did and brushed it off as a nothing-burger

    Kelce was annoyed as he was open a few times but Mahomes was not playing well, holding the ball too long and not seeing or connecting with Kelce or Rice. He redeemed it in OT but it wasn't his best game. by far.

    It’s not just about what you need to know it’s about what you’re giving Patrick Mahomes in that specific game. I’m not giving Mahomes 4 plays to score. If they go first there’s a chance they kick a field goal on a 4th and short instead Mahomes walked them down like we all knew he would. If I have the lesser QB and am one of the worst 3rd down teams in the league I would ensure my guy got 4 and yes “knew what he needed to get,” but in this situation more so to deny Mahomes “knowing what he needs to get”

      That’s called competitive fire. It doesn’t translate to anything that doesn’t have that level of passion derived from it. It’s not even what I’d call anger. Sports get you fired up. Like, blackout, fired up. Andy knows that. The feeling he’s chasing is better than any drug. And that can create crackhead tendencies😂. This was just one of those moments. Some of the nicest humans and all around chill people to play the sport were very close to on field murderers.

      Reid and Kekce do this all the time. This stuff also happens in big games all the time. I have a hard time believing that anyone familiar with the NFL would even be reacting to this. If Reid and Kelce are okay with it, why are people who don’t know a thing about it trying to read into it?
