Thank you! It was a tough decision. The Mojave was great and I had thought about possible engine swap down the road but this opportunity presented itself and they gave me an offer I couldn't refuse!
Thanks! Yeah, I was at a crossroads. Either open the can of worms modding the Mojave. Or pursue the 392. We’ve had an influx of these in the used market in our area and that was helping to drop the price on some. I like V8s and finally have one in a Wrangler Rubicon is something I’ve longed for having!
Man I really wish they had a 392 in two door and manual. Just bought my first real jeep since college and love the rubicon, got it in a two door and manual just really want that extra power.
Awesome rig!!! Loved my 22 392 XR and just sold it to get the new 2024 392 but My Ram Trx is a way more versatile, capable and just overall including sound better then Jeep, not even close taking The Trx over 392 recommend Anyone get A Trx over 392 and that’s from someone having both.
Thanks! Yeah, I agree the TRX is overall a more well-rounded and versatile vehicle than the Rubicon392. The 392 is just something truly unique that we’ll probably never see produced again from the factory. I would have loved the TRX but then would still want a Wrangler to conquer the Rubicon Trail or Black Bear Pass someday. And the TRX was slightly more expensive than the 392. If I wasn’t a Jeep guy the TRX would win hands down.
I just looked at the latest map from HF and you’re right. All those trails going up that way are now one-way going up. We weren’t on “Loose Rock” though. It was more like “Revenge”. I don’t think many are aware of this recent change as an entire group of like 15 Jeeps all went down instead of up while I was out there lol. I can see why they did it. Trail finding is really difficult in that area as there’s several paths you can take and some of them are just foot and a half high ledges. Perhaps they should put better signage in that area and also a sign on top saying “Do Not Enter” or “One way” would help people from getting lost.
@@MotoringAdventures_KE7SAI yea agreed 100% their signage all together in the entire park need to be improved specially these one way trails!!! Great video as usual!!!
No mark up. I noticed prices had been slowly dropping as inventory in my area increased. This one was used with 16k miles and I picked it up for right at $76k. It was the lowest priced 392 in my region with the Xtreme Recon package. They gave me $46k for my Mojave which was exactly what I had purchased it for brand new just 7 months prior.
I do, but the manuals in the Gladiator's are horrible. The 6.4L V8 more than makes up for not having that crappy version of a manual they put in the JT's. Now, if it had a clutch like the one made by ACT Performance with a pro mass fly wheel, that'd be another story. But short answer, no. Not missing the manual from the Gladiator Mojave.
@@rypatrick I hope so. A buddy of mine went and had his clutch swapped out by ACT and he didn't realize what he was missing. ruclips.net/video/Kg8Ie6fJSFQ/видео.html
Yeah not only is that the most capable Wrangler from the factory That's the most capable 4x4 from the factory in the world. I can't think of anything on the planet that beats it.

Man, you're out there living the life! Amazing 392! That color looks great on the Wrangler. Looking forward to more of this rig!

Yeah that would be awesome!! I’m a manual guy myself.
Nice video, V8 would be nice. Still have my 3.8, Chicken Corners. Hope you and family are doing well 👍

“Front way of Wild Cat mountain” AKA Loose Rock?? If so that’s a one way trail and that way is UP!!!!

I’m thinking about doing the same thing. How much did you get it for or is there still mark up?
