I agree. I DO love how she turned this word (and his method of murdering her sister) back on him, when SHE becomes the invisible woman and slashes his throat, ending it with a "surprise" of her own. I think she was also the one to position the camera to precisely pick up the whole exchange, even making it appear that he slit his own throat and she called in a suicide. And notice, she even makes it a point to get out of the camera's sight before that triumphant Cheshire cat smile when she hangs up from dialing 911.

Something to also note is that when they sit down for dinner, Adrian has provided Cece with food and beverages such as sushi, steak and wine. Cece is pregnant.
Wine is already an obvious contender for what you should not consume while pregnant, it has an entire syndrome dedicated to why it's not a safe thing to do, and sushi and steak are generally deemed as unsafe meals to consume while pregnant due to both foods being some form of raw, give or take depending on steak, while sushi is raw fish.
With all of this in mind, this paints a picture that Adrien either doesn't care about nor want the child, and is actively trying to kill Cece's baby while it's in the womb, or the more likely option, Adrian doesn't care enough to do any research as to what a pregnant woman can or cannot eat and drink while pregnant.
Honestly just another great way of showing how much of a cardinal abuser Adrian is. While he is actively trying to manipulate her into coming back to him, he can't even be bothered to make her a meal that won't actively kill her baby.

I love how the movie does give you the clues in the end that it really was Adrian. The fact that Adrian clearly made multiple suits since his brother and Cecilia each had one, the fact that his suit was damaged and flickering which along with the fact that it would have been impossible to beat Cee to James and Sid’s house on foot while she made it by car, the fact that there wasn’t another car at the scene of Tom’s death to show he got there on foot, the height difference between both Griffin brothers as the Invisible Man who fought the guards was clearly larger and more imposing than the one that attacked Sid, also that the first Invisible Man was strong enough to take on multiple guards while a kid and a woman killed the second, and you can even feel the frustration in Adrian’s voice when he’s trying to convince Cecilia to trust him and that smug smirk of satisfaction when it seemed like she did. Not to mention the movie clearly showed how dangerous Adrian is at the beginning where he was so angry that Cee tried to run that he broke through a car window with his bare fist to get to her while Tom was clearly spineless and submissive to his clearly more frightening brother. Everything clearly points to Adrian when you go back to the film and take note of the scenes logically. And the ending is so great, not just because of how satisfying his demise is but also that he sort of created a bigger monster in Cee, and I’m a sucker for “The Monster Creates a Bigger Monster” concept.
    Freaking love this movie! 😍🤩🫥
