@@stateofoklahomashallnotbei5469 I know at times things seem bleak because things change so rapidly. But hang in there it may not be so bad. I’m praying for you.
I have family ALL OVER Texas, so here is my list of good reasons why one needs to think hard before moving to Texas: 1. ANYWHERE you live in Texas, the weather will be HOT; usually YEAR ROUND. 2. If you have allergies, then Texas is a poor choice. It is among the top ten worst states for allergies. 3. House and car prices are a lot cheaper than many other states (such as California). HOWEVER, Texas gets you in the wallet when it comes time to pay property taxes and auto insurance. You will pay substantially MORE in property taxes and car insurance than in many other states (such as California, Oregon, etc.). 4. People in Texas are on average far more concerned over MATERIAL things, than say in California and other states. Your neighbors will be far more actively 'keeping up with the Joneses' then what you will experience in other states. If you choose to drive the same old car (instead of buying a new car every several years) then be aware that your neighbors will disdainfully take notice of this. If you are a woman, then get ready to experience far more peer pressure to LOOK GOOD ANYTIME YOU STEP INTO PUBLIC. Your hair had better be well groomed and you'd better be dressed neatly. If you want to be "casual" then DON'T move to Texas. 5. The bug problem is HORRENDOUS, regardless of where you live in Texas. Many of the bugs there could carry away the family cat, lol. 6. Many of the major cities (such as Houston) have just as terrible a problem with major traffic as do any other cities outside of Texas. If you think that moving to Texas is gonna dramatically decrease stressful drives to and from your job, then think again. 7. On average, food prices are more expensive in Texas than in many other states. 8. On average, flooding is far worse in Texas (especially in the cities) than in California and other states. 9. If you have any fear of hurricanes and/or tornadoes then DON'T MOVE TO TEXAS, period. 10. Be prepared to do home repairs A LOT MORE OFTEN IN TEXAS than in other states. This is due to the extreme weather. 11. Be prepared to pay higher insurance for you home than in many other states. This is primarily due to the tornadoes and hurricanes that Texas experiences.
Don't forget about the hard hitting hail storms and all the ubiquitous toll roads! Still waiting for one of these videos to give a 👍or 👎 take on crime issues in DFW & Austin
Having lived in CA, TX and the Midwest, I have seen pockets of materialism in all these states. Depends on the areas you live in each of those states. In TX, if you live out more in the country, you will find less of it , than in the cities. Also in TX, while there may be some who are concerned with how you look, there are also those who are laid back and don’t care. You will find that in any state. Personally, I think some of the friendliest and most helpful people, have been in Texas,.
Michael Deer I agree Bougie people live in Chicago it just depends what neighborhood. Texas still has several more pros than cons. I don’t care what anyone says I have lived in Cali, Illinois, Tennessee, Utah and Texas. I love the sun and utilize A/C so Texas for that reason wins.
I moved from Houston to E TN a year ago and it’s not even close. My quality of life improved dramatically all around. Example...bought a lake house here for $300k, taxes only $1,500 and no income tax. In Houston, was paying over $6k for almost same priced house. The streets completely flood in 3 minutes of rain because there’s no where for it to go anymore. I don’t miss Houston one bit. The traffic in Houston is filled with complete road rage. EVERY single day I was stressed out spending over 2 hours a day in traffic. Here, less than 10 minutes and my stress level? What’s that? I’ve added 10 years to my life moving here...please stay away!
I live on 100 acres in the hill country, my property has views of the hills, underground spring fed year creek, and caves. I think I got lucky. The only time I leave is for groceries and the occasional 3 hr trip out to the coast
Texas Ghost: Sounds like you have the perfect bug out location and you wouldn’t even have to bug out!Do you have a lot of bluebonnets in the Spring and do you have your own water well?. If so does your water taste good? Sounds like heaven and sounds like you hit pay dirt!
I'm not too concerned with #1 or #2, but #3 through #5 , plus flooding are a concern. Corruption can be found across the country, so that's a draw.. Texas has it's own unique beauty, although I-10 (west of San Antonio) can be a long desolate drive once you get out past a certain point. #1 can be solved with a pool, or AC. I also am not a fan of winter weather.
Texas to me seems like where u go for substance, not the mountain views, vacationland in FL/CA or outdoor recreation rather than how mani jobs are in a place . those places tend to be more superficial.
Facts come down to the valley you get to see beautiful palm trees a nice beach beautiful sunsets but the disadvantage is that it’s hot and most of the time we get rain
I live in So Cal. If you get used to live here and you can afford it, you won't be disappointed. Great weather, food, entertainment, diversity, etc. If you prefer to live within a community of Asians, Whites, and Hispanics, you can find a lot of different communities like that as well. Just avoid LA downtown, you would be happy.
@@michellemarie1197 We lived in Texas 3 times along with several other states an two other countries. We retired to California because of the weather and natural beauty. We live on a small lake in the forested foothills of Northern California. Home prices in our area are higher than Dallas but a bit lower than Austin. To replicate our house on a lake in the Austin area our overall taxes would be higher in Texas. California politics and regulations are awful and will probably eventually force us to move away from a location we love.
Excellent video! I was fortunate enough to get in prior to the current craze that has taken over the housing madness. I moved here in Sep. 2020 in an area north of McKinney. I LOVE it! One thing that makes Texas more attractive to military retirees is the fact that 100% disabled veterans pay no property taxes. It's a huge benefit for which I am grateful as retired Air Force. It's probably why you see so many DV plates in Texas. The DFW Metroplex has so much to offer and the growth is insane!

I have lived in Houston for over 45 years and have seen it go from a nice mid sized town to a sprawling hell hole. I am now retired and live in a high class neighborhood so a lot of the trouble is now moot for me. I simply don't go anywhere until rush hour is over. If moving here I'd rent for at least a year to ensure you like it. Im in Dallas, been here a year and not for me so wont stay. It's what you make it. Jobs are easy to come by which is a good thing..no pretty scenery which is why I'm heading back to the Carolinas.
appreciate the honesty: ironically this is what Kirby Wilbur's wife mentioned as her sticking point, but after watching barbarians from antifa/blm raid the bellevue square mall (managed by longtime friend) and no police response, she said "it's time to go".."the scenery isn't enough anymore"....
The trade off of Excessively high property tax’s with annual increases compared to no income tax is advantageous to high income earners but unfair to middle and lower income earners that want home ownership. It’s especially unfair to those that want to keep their home upon retirement.
You can be a high earner but decide to live in a small house in a crap area and have a low tax. Until you get gentrified then your taxes blow up and you can’t afford to live there any longer.
WRONG! When I retired I deferred my property tax (at age 65) so I now pay NO taxes on the house. (The tax will be collected when I die and the new owners take over.) What does EAT YOUR LUNCH is the astronomical car insurance prices that stay high even when you retire and drive less than a 1000 miles a year!
I didn’t know you could defer property tax in Texas. Good to know. And yes auto insurance is steep. So is my health insurance. Almost 8k a year if I don’t use it.
You right. They talk like if everybody makes lots of money. Talk about average people that dont make enough money. Wages are very low. Is not cheap. Property taxes and insurances are rising expensive. Dont lie please.

@@peyes4739 we had a 103% prop tax increase in a little town in west texas where we had a summer vacation cabin..... that's pretty severe and all across the state pretty much the same.
I advise don't move here due to the politics in Austin. I was born in Texas and never seen such a screwed up government that is considered far right dictatorial/authoritarian.
I moved to Texas 8 years now. My life has been so BLESSED I'm from California. I was able to make my dreams come true here. So affordable an I love the weather here. It's cleaner to breath. Only thing i miss is mountains but I was blessed to live many years around mountains.
Brandon, This is the risk of recording what you say. I have NO CLUE why that came out of my mouth. My parents live in Galveston and I spent about every other weekend going there as a kid. I love our beaches and more. My main point was that our major cities (bulk of the population) don't come here for the natural beauty. It is here, but Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio aren't known for natural beauty. I could dig into the Trinity River, Brazo Bayou, SA river walk, Austin's white rock and Lakes etc. etc.
You forgot public transportation, it's not as good such as New York. The DART rail and buses just are just bad. Many native Dallasites don't like the growth as it keeps raising property costs. Here in the near future rent control will need to happen. That's not a good thing. IMHO.
Dart is awesome. Its as good as any city transit on the east coast or the west coast, and I've rode the transit in almost all the other major large cities almost everywhere.
i just came across your video. i retired and moved here last year and i love it! i came down a few times to look around and settled on the outskirts of San Antonio. everyone i have met is very nice and friendly and Love the weather. when my Dad was in the Navy he was stationed in Corpus Christy. im still exploring and looking around but yes, Love Texas and the people who live here
California doesn't sound so bad...best weather in all 50 states....bugs that aren't bigger than you...no salt laid down to kill your overpriced car....great ocean views...natural beauty... hail that won't kill you....zero rust....the phrase "winterizing " has never been used...can wear shorts almost every single day....if it wasn't for Democrats I would probably stay.
Todd , Always enjoy Your Real Estate videos. The pluses still outway the negatives any way you look at Texas. 1. Denver median home prices is $ 500,000. Seattle median home price is $ 700,000. It is very hard for young people, just out of college and with student loans to afford living there. 2. Living in Washington or Oregon would be a real concern with Tsunami's Many coastal communities are built on sand or "filled in " soil that will liquidify. 3. Living in Upper Midwest with Freezing Rain and Blizzards makes for long Winters. 4.The larger cities in Texas have Great Schools. Good place to start family. ( SPORTS) 5. Longer growing season leads to more fruits and vegitables for longer periods. 6. Warmer temperatures but a little less humidity. (Ask UT baseball players) 7. Texas has Big Cities with lots of cars, but you would not be driving from one end of town to the other. You could stay off the Interstates. 8. Lots of jobs. (many regional offices that would also have opportunity for employment). 9. High property taxes are offset by NO STATE INCOME TAX. ( Good for retirees) 10. If you wanted to own a dog ( many young people do) you could build a nice dog house and leave him ouside for .......most days of the year. (No need to rush home evey night after work.) 11. Texan's are well known for BIG HEARTS and LOVING CARING COMMUNITIES.
PROPERTY TAXES.... Texas = 1.83% of assessed value. California = 1.0% of assessed value. ******PROP 13 ADVANTAGE***** Prop 13 says your purchase price REMAINS your ASSESSED VALUE for as long as you own your home. That 'assessment' can only be increased 2% per year MAX... Example, I bought my home 15 years ago for $425,000 today it is worth $880,000.. I pay property taxes on that original $425,000 x 1.% = $4,250 in Texas, I would be paying 1.83% on $880,000 = $16,104. In the next 8 to 10 years my house will go over $1.2 million dollars in value. Texas taxes = $1,200,000 x 1.83% = $21,960 per year ( = $1830 PER MONTH IN PROPERTY TAXES ALONE...?? REALLY???))... In California my "BASIS" remains $425,000 (plus a MAXIMUM increase of 2% per year) I might be paying $5,800 (about $483 per month) in taxes on a $1.2 million dollar home. The reason taxpayers in California passed Prop 13, is that long time home owners.. like senior citizens were being TAXED OUT of their own homes...
@@cmscms123456 $425K? You could buy about 3 houses for that here in Texas, now.. What people are not getting is yes the rate is higher but it is based on the home value. Also there is an over 65 exemption here. I pay less than 1.5K . On my 2 story 4 bedroom lake house. My 200K house would be about 800k in CA. So actual out of pocket tax money payed here is less for the same sized house.
OK, OK, OK. We are well aware that those are there. The vast majority of our population (and questions to our show, channel, team) are about the major cities and surrounding areas. We love the hill country, rivers, lakes, mountains, wildlife and more that the great state of Texas has to offer!
The lack of scenery is further augmented by unchecked sprawl with cookie cutter subdivisions and box stores. This sprawl seemingly has no discernable pattern. Development permits are almost rubber stamped with no opposition and usually no meaningful zoning. Actually this isn't uniquely a Texas thing but indicative of the sunbelt region.
Hot, yes...but, my God, the freaking HUMIDITY!!! I was visiting Houston. It was 95 degrees, no big deal, right? Think again. The freaking humidity in tandem with the heat made it oppressive. Here's the takeaway...I flew back to Sacramento, CA airport and it was 110 degrees, but it was a DRY 110 degrees and felt much, much more tolerable than the Swamp Oven that was Houston. Just sayin'.
I wanted to move to Texas watching Fixer Upper... Cheap housing, large houses. But with the rampant gun violence and natural disasters (some are exacerbated due to Texas policies), I’ll never move to Texas.
Dallas has one of the loveliest cityscapes in the world, but if you prefer natural beauty, you come to south Texas Hill Country, or you move to east Texas. Depending on how much you love the plains (and scenic canyons) far north Texas may be preferable. Then, there’s the gulf coast and the historic city of Galveston, which make for great tourism. If you like rustic, and you don’t have to worry about employment, then far west Texas has Big Bend and Terlingua.
Everytime people start mass moving, prices start going up for everything. It's already happening. I'll stay in my comfortable cool weather at the CA beach. ⛱. lol
Texas is a pretty cool place . Every state has its advantages and disadvantages. You like the ocean ? There's a long stretch of coastline from Sea Rim State park to South Padre Island. Who's saying there's no natural beauty? What about Big Bend , Guadalupe Mountains, Palo Duro Canyon , Monahans Sandhills, Texas Hill County with its beautiful lakes and rivers ? From marshlands to mountains Texas has it all. It isn't the most beautiful state but far away from just boring looking.
@@The1ByTheSea been to both places . El Paso has dry heat but Houston for instance is like Florida. Florida is hot in the summer but you always have that nice ocean breeze that makes it liveable. You go to Austin there's no ocean breeze which makes it harder to cope. Trust me both Florida and Texas are very hot places. Then there's still Arizona lol.
I'm from Dallas and as of 3:10 you really have more annoyed we have the Gulf of Mexico inn winter in the panhandle desert in the West Rolling Hills in the east more fishing than any other state and something we hate about the other states mainly California and Oklahoma they just suck but Texas is amazing and to anybody that doesn't think so sit and spin without Lube
Have you ever been to California? It's got areas that are among the most beautiful in the country. There are many along the Pacific Coast Highway. That said, only a multimillionaire could live there. I would vacation there, but not move there. I love Texas.
Hey Ricky! Dallas has Summer temperatures that start in late May and lasts until early September. In the hottest parts of that time its around 105 and dips around 90 at night. The balance to that is that this January has been in the 60s during the day and super nice and sunny.
It can be, but understand Vegas has very dry air while Dallas has very humid air. So 90 - 95 in Dallas will feel like 105 - 110 in Vegas and with A LOT of sweat.
Ricky Rozay no, it’s not hotter than Vegas. I used to live there although I’m originally from Texas (recently moved back to TX). It can just get really humid here. The nice rainstorms make up for that though
Jeremy Permenter okay thank you.. no I say truly say I’m willing to move to Dallas. I wasn’t trying to move anywhere that’s hotter than Vegas.... so thank you sir. Appreciate it
@@DallasFortWorth Thank you for the reply. Between the two, I'm primarily interested in San Antonio, because it has some cultural and architectural parallels to San Diego (where I presently live) and my original home state of New Mexico. The people there seem to be friendly and accepting. I like it's proximity to the hill country, the coast, Austin, and the more mountainous area of western Texas. I know less about Fort Worth, but the economy there seems to be slightly stronger. I mainly see Fort Worth as a back up plan.
I left the state because it's getting too overcrowded. Houston, Austin, and SA are getting too overpopulated. I still have property on the coast and plan on keeping it.
Haha that was the early 1980s. Sometimes I wish a chainsaw massacre could eliminate all the California transplants....but we dont have enough chainsaws to chop up all the Cali dumbasses doing their best to try to ruin and screw everything up.
Housing here is a serious problem for working class people. Apartment owners use the property tax as an excuse to jack up rent rates. More of a problem closer to the cities, but even an hour away from Dallas or Fort Worth looking at 1000 a month or more for 1 bedroom. And that’s only going to get worse for the foreseeable future.
I live in Austin now, a native from Dallas (my ancestors were some of the first to settle in Texas). I would say you better look before you leap. The weather and government are terrible.

North texas like Wichita falls and Decatur as well as east Texas like Tyler tend to get more tornadoes. Down in the hill country like uvalde is breathtaking.
Love your video however as another Realtor, you might venture out beyond DFW. Texas has one of the most diverse landscapes in America. If you're speaking just about DFW, then, yes, I agree.
@Free Facts our 4 biggest cities have lots of traffic. But Texas is huge, bigger than many countries. Nice cities, low traffic, good schools, beautiful views. DFW area is one of the ugliest areas there is, Austin is crazy but beautiful hill country, lakes, world class entertainment.. San Antonio is amazing.. And so many others. No WAY is DFW the best.
Californian here, I've been to Texas a dozen times, Dallas, Carrollton, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and no, I wouldn't go there for a vacation, just to attend some weddings. The first two reasons he mentioned are right and then you have the killer humidity and mosquito nuisance. The topography is very boring, nothing but flat land and concrete and asphalt. The BBQ is not what it cracked up to be. In sum, nothing appealing. We have horrendous traffic here but you guys are catching up fast. No income tax but high real property tax? That's hard on retirees, who have no income to be taxed and yet high property tax to worry about. No, you don't need to reply blasting California because there are already tons of YT videos critical of my state.
Ok you wrong about humidity, yes it's humid in Huston because it's build around Louisiana swamp. I live in Austin and typically overnight moisture from Gulf Coast reaches this part of Texas but sun burns it off by noon. You wrong about mosquitos also. One of the Austin's tourists traps is watching bats come out to feed. What do you think bats eat? You are wrong about vacations also. Of course I would come to TX for sight seeing. And no I don't recommend beaches if you have expectations of FL. But unlike CA beaches water temperature is actually enjoyable. What if you enjoy music scene? What if you are a Formula One fan? I've ben to Venice IT and San Antonio river walk. Both are tourist traps but I'll take SA for week day night out. I've spent majority of my life in sales and have traveled entirely too much, tell me which metropolitan area is not concrete and asphalt? I am from OH and I own homes in OH, FL and TX. I snow ski and I water ski. I enjoy mountains, oceans and rivers. In my opinion your are bias and not accurate at all.
Why would a long summer be a negative? Lack of natural beauty? It's beautiful out here as long as you are outside of the city and not in middle of a desert. No state income tax, so they jack up the property taxes to absurd levels. I have seen them over $500 a month in some places. Property taxes shouldn't even be legal! Tornados suck. I haven't seen one yet (Thank God) but I have had some late nights because of tornado watches and warnings. Much like airplane crashes, they are rare, but that doesn't matter if you are involved in one!
Traffic is bad like any other big city, I don't know why people keep adding this as cons when reviewing states, and there is ways of avoiding it. My only complain about Texas is the weather.
The hot weather, humidity, tornados and coastal area hurricanes has me leery of ever moving back to Texas. I did live in Corpus Christi and enjoyed it for most part.
Texas has Big Bend National Park, Malaquite Campground, Palo Duro Canyon, and beautiful swamps. If talking about only the areas around the Texas Urban Triangle then sure, there isn't much in the way of scenery other than the Hill Country.
If Central Texas is you destination, allergies are a big issue! And to primary reason not to move to Texas, if you want to bring liberal ideas with you. In that case we don’t want you here! We already have our pink spot and don’t need to add to that.
Texas is really crappy. Galveston and Port Aransas water is brown. No hills or mountains. Humid. Houston is a SWAMP. Austin is a SWAMP. San Antonio is a joke with 2 feet deep river with crappy food. Only decent city is........oh nowhere. When you land at any TX airport you start to sweat like crazy. Glad millions love it there have fun!!
Texas is the only place I ever lived where people constantly bragged about their state. It is the people there that made me want to vomit. The people were almost all from somewhere else but they keep that quiet. The most exciting place is tornado alley.
What the hell is this dude talking about? Texas has mountains. Look up west Texas and big bend national park. Over 300 miles of coast and undeveloped beaches. We have prairies, brush country, hill country, piney wood forest, swamps, coastal plains, a small Grand Canyon, deserts and a bunch of 25000+ acre lakes and clear spring water rivers and swimming holes. We do get some hot summers but half of the United States does also. It’s not exclusive to Texas. But we have very nice winters where most of the time it’s in the 50’s and 60’s in January and February. And I know nasty cold weather I’ve lived in Colorado and Missouri. See this videos and the negative comments are from city slickers who couldn’t start a camp fire with 5 gallons of gasoline and a box of matches. Texas is big so you actually have to do some driving. There are many states where you get 2 choices. Forested mountains and bone dry deserts. Texas is more diversified.

I have family ALL OVER Texas, so here is my list of good reasons why one needs to think hard before moving to Texas:
Very educational. Thanks a lot.
Don't forget about the hard hitting hail storms and all the ubiquitous toll roads! Still waiting for one of these videos to give a 👍or 👎 take on crime issues in DFW & Austin
This is the absolute best comment I’ve read anywhere about moving to Texas. Thank you so much.
I’ve added 10 years to my life moving here...please stay away!
thanks for your comment.

3. Living in Upper Midwest with Freezing Rain and Blizzards makes for long Winters.
4.The larger cities in Texas have Great Schools.
Good place to start family. ( SPORTS)
5. Longer growing season leads to more fruits and vegitables for longer periods.
6. Warmer temperatures but a little less humidity. (Ask UT baseball players)
7. Texas has Big Cities with lots of cars, but you would not be driving from one end of town to the other.
You could stay off the Interstates.
8. Lots of jobs. (many regional offices that would also have opportunity for employment).
9. High property taxes are offset by NO STATE INCOME TAX. ( Good for retirees)
10. If you wanted to own a dog ( many young people do) you could build a nice dog house and leave him ouside for .......most days of the year. (No need to rush home evey night after work.)

FIX THIS.. you need a Prop 13, and I'll think about moving to Texas.

@Free Facts Looks like that to me.
Yeah I love Texas
This is an accurate and balanced video.
Planning to move to texas as soon the hospital that I am applying will call me back..thanks to this video..I want to live in Fort worth area..
Come to amarillo. Lol we have all seasons. And no humidity. 100 degree heat and 1-2 feet of snow are not out of the question
You know even less about Texas than Todd does.
California is run by Marxists.
Not blasting you or Cali, if you love it there, by all means, please stay there. Texas sucks, it's terrible here, please stay away! Lol
Roscoe P. Coltrane bullshit! We’re coming in droves. The secret is out. Texas here we come!
Amarillo has long snowy winters
Please stay out of Texas we are full
You sure? I got far too many cali trans plants up here in wa and they really NEED TO GO.
Texas is huge, can someone explain the overpopulated part?
Only in All the cities
Traffic is bad like any other big city, I don't know why people keep adding this as cons when reviewing states, and there is ways of avoiding it. My only complain about Texas is the weather.
Me: Wants to move to a free state
Me: suffers from heat exhaustion during summer due to poor dietary decisions.
Said state: THE SUN IS A LASER BEAM
Texas literally has ocean front access and mountains. LMFAO lol
The hot weather, humidity, tornados and coastal area hurricanes has me leery of ever moving back to Texas. I did live in Corpus Christi and enjoyed it for most part.
How likely is that hail damage a roof in Fort Worth? An area around Dallas where you don't get hail? Thanks
hail damage is minimal it's the high winds that get ya.
.my husband replaced his roof 3 times in 16 yrs
Texas has Big Bend National Park, Malaquite Campground, Palo Duro Canyon, and beautiful swamps. If talking about only the areas around the Texas Urban Triangle then sure, there isn't much in the way of scenery other than the Hill Country.
If Central Texas is you destination, allergies are a big issue! And to primary reason not to move to Texas, if you want to bring liberal ideas with you. In that case we don’t want you here! We already have our pink spot and don’t need to add to that.
Fall Cedar fever oh my oh my!
I’m born in Austin Texas but why not it’s a big state and a lot of land
Don't encourage them! We've already got too many interlopers.
I've visited a friend in El Paso, Tx the mountains are beautiful there.
@@tickledpink6684 I havent even moved there and I sai DO NOT mention the outdoors to anione!.. that brings in all the bad people who are fake nice, then breed and then their little ones have no manners then thei'll run the joint. I seen from personal experience what this does up north, or if areas promote their colleges as well. If Texas sticks to jobs as being the appealing part to moving there, it will at least be focused. I am not wanting to come to TX for the outdoors. I want the jobs and places to socialize.. I dont wanna be a hermit like these other hipsters or juppies do. Because of them, l'd have to be one bi force because all the real people move out. Im triing to leave that now. I dont want it to follow me. Im a trans person, I wanna look good and get people who appreciate that sorta thing to be friends with, real people who see me 4 the nice beautiful person I am. I dont wanna have to become a hermit because of all these others coming in. So I am a transplant who has no desire to change a thing. I want Dallas at least for how it is or Id go to Austin. I dont want Austin life though. Im alreadi in a place like that, its expensive, ppl suck and so forth.
People want to focus on the illegals BUT these are the real illegals. Thei're the pilgrims..
I am trying to move to the Ft Worth area from Bakersfield Ca. As of right now fitting my resources together.
Hey Richard. Glad to hear, I would reach out to Leah Gilligan (817-507-8420 leah@toddtramonte.com), she's an awesome Buyer Specialist on our team that is killing it in FW and would love to help you find an awesome home! She also moved from California to Fort Worth.

Ahh Bakersfield the armpit of california.
i’m from south carolina & considering the move to texas but it will be quite hard for me to get use to the weather i hear texas has
It's not too bad, we just stay inside when its crazy hot!
This might sound like a stupid question. But does south Carolina get much snow?.
@@toribrown1772 😂😂😂 last time we got snow & it actually stuck to the ground was n 08
@@BriBri256 lmao ... That must be wonderful not dealing with it... I was told by people that live there that they get a good amount of snow almost every where and said it was anywhere from 3 to 4 inches.
@@BriBri256 And do you recommend living there.. Or is it bad bad.
I’m from chorpys Christi a lot of water front and palm trees! Texas is humongous you can’t base on city off the whole state off one state
I'm Thinking About Moving There...
I'm Coming Across An Inheritance Soon... I Was Told Go South,Since I Like Hunting And Fishing... And Work At The Oil Rigs... 2 Maintain A Very Nice House In A Nice Neighborhood With Oh 35 Acres...
@@larrysmith4082 you would love it!

Reverse psychology, Reverse psychology, Reverse psychology. We need people who will have fun here in Texas.
Not for me. Too hot.
I could do a vid about why you shouldn't move to Jersey but I won't... Lol
Ha!!
Lol me too i live nj worse place.
Storms and lots of venomous 🐍 snakes. Also major storms thunder and lightning really very loud storms. Also high property taxes dust storms. Dogs run free. Wild and domestic dogs.
I want to
More like you should say” don’t move to Texas” , but we love it here!
Don’t mind visiting most places on our planet; but I am a Texan in every way possible! Texas is the best place on earth along with some of the best people! Love ❤️ Texas!
