It's expensive to live here because of all the drifters moving here. I meet so many people who don't have family moving here and then move back because its too expensive to live here. You can't get an apartment unless you make 3x the rent, property taxes are 11k. Mortgage rate is like 4k a month. If you listen to this person and you don't make enough, you will lose thousands of dollars quickly. 💯

I guess everyone’s experience is different. Living in a studio apartment in Frisco and my rent is reasonable. I live next to the square so therefore, I can walk to restaurants and I can walk to the HEB, and to Cinemark, which has decreased the amount of money I spent on transportation. Also it only takes me about 10 minutes to drive to the mall or two other shopping centers nearby.
So definitely for a single person it has great benefits, but I can understand how it could be expensive for families .

Frisco has to become a new center of northern Dallas surburb because, otherwise, those fast growing cities northern than Frisco and future silicon valley-Sherman are too far from Dallas and Fort-Worth. They need a closer center/hub/Amenity-center similar to Dallas.

But but but the more they develop, and the more they build, Frisco slowly begins to lose its charm and turns into baby Dallas. Open fields and moderate traffic was definitely a main attraction. Now it really feels like the city.
