I am rather impressed he downed the entire bottle. As a young child I drank a very small amount of rubbing alcohol because I thought it was an adult drink. I screamed.
One time I drank a tiny cup full (like a cough syrup dose cup) as a kid because my throat hurt from yelliing while playing with friends and I knew I used the stuff to sanitize scrapes and cuts when being too rough with play so I guess I thought the same logic applied for internal wounds..... It did not.
You can feel the internal eye-roll throughout the video having to scientifically explain why drinking rubbing alcohol wont disinfect your insides lmfao

I love how you break down the descriptive titles of substances in a way that allows the layman (i.e. me) to understand what the substance actually is.👍👍👍
When he said, "so why does rubbing alcohol not kill this virus within the body? this brings us to the concept called..." on god I expected him to say *common fucking sense*
Thing is, a lot of people may not have much knowledge and experience with these sorts of things. Neither bleach nor concentrated alcohol seems to have a visible detrimental effect to the surfaces on which they are normally used. If people only know that much about bleach and alcohol, and then they hear that it's also a good disinfectant against a new virus, it's not out of the realm of possibility that they might drink it. Because they would not know how their body breaks ingested items down, or how the substances would react with their cells. Some might be repelled by the strong taste and smell, but others would just take it as a sign that the substance is strong and effective. I don't think it's worth it to be exasperated by ignorance. Everyone is ignorant about some things. I usually save the exasperation for stupidity, when people have been previously warned or shown that what they are doing is a bad idea, yet continue anyway.

I dont think garlic and ginger are about killing the virus inside the body, but more about living a healthy lifestyle that allows your body to keep moving stuff through it and expelling waste. We see alot of elderly people being more prone to the flu due to lack of bowel movements, because when stuff stops moving theres more times for bacteria and virus to take hold rather than be expelled from the body. Something doesn't need to directly eliminate coronavirus to aid in preventing you getting sick with it. If you're exposed to say a contaminated piece of food that someone touched and you consumed it, theres a lesser chance of the virus being able to take hold in someone who is moving toxins out of their body regularly than someone who is blocked up allowing time for the virus to propogate to a point where it can infect you.

His version of "Stop it, get some help."
I love how calmly informative but also somewhat "are you stupid??" this video is. 😂
Okay my friend introduced me to your channel a few days ago-I’m so sad I didn’t find it sooner. I am extremely anti-multi level marketing so she showed me the video where the little boy drank essential oils, wintergreen in particular. So interesting and even more reason to keep that sh*t with safety caps! Really enjoy your content. So glad to have found you!
I went to the grocery store early in the pandemic and asked if they had any 90% alcohol left since there was none on the shelf (I had gone to 3 other places already, I know if it's not on the shelf they usually don't have it, but I was desperate) and the employee was like "no, we're out. But we have 70%, it's much better for cleaning the virus"
I appreciate that they shared that info, I already knew and needed 90% for blending coloured pencils, but it was nice that she was sharing it.
I work inside electronics and high % iso alcohol is good for cleaning without damaging it. It was a frustrating time.
Early in the pandemic I couldn’t get isopropyl alcohol. Here in Florida the maximum proof of drinking alcohol is 153. I bought a 1.75 liter bottle just in case I couldn’t get disinfectants like isopropyl alcohol.
Eventually I drank the 153-proof ethanol, much diluted.
Thanks for sharing that 90% rubbing alcohol can blend colored pencils. I did not know that, I'll have to try it.
@@minavane5533 it gives it a cool water coloured look
@@andymiller1597 Same, both for cleaning flux off PCBs and cleaning oils off the surface of my 3D printer build plate.
"Someone on the internet said it will burn a little on the way down"
I bet it does 😂😂
Man, one shot of everclear burns like hell, and is about the same strength as this 91% isopropanol. I can't imagine drinking a pint, even in my 20's. This probably doesn't even taste good.
Humans are weird.
I love ur profile pic..like, yes!
@@taylorismylife2997 thanks
I can barely stand the smell of this stuff. I still use it to clean razors and disinfect wounds. I can’t imagine being able to drink an entire bottle.
It's just vodka x100 bro
Lowkey was expecring him to name random objects for 14 minutes straight, like:
"Knives,
Used socks,
Twigs,
Microwave,"
etc.

Well technically those things can prevent you from getting sick from Coronavirus... If they kill you first!
Microwave....lol
Kobaltski knives*

the moment he said virus, i already knew what was ab to happen, just shook my head in disappointment
