Hello Sir, Can you send out an invite to debate Apostle Gino Jennings of Truth of God, concerning the Sabbath? He like so many others do not think that Sabbath keeping is relevant and JESUS did not say to keep it. I caution you, he is very knowledgeable concerning the scriptures and very charismatic but he might be misguided in some areas. Please consider...Thank you.

For alternative ice cream, buy ripe bananas, the spotted ones, peel the ripe bananas and put them in a freezer bag, put in the freezer until frozen, take them out, put them in your blender with a little Distilled water, blend, this is yummy and healthy. Can also add blueberries & strawberries. Pineapple & mangoes Etc. . .Be creative. Happy Sabbath Everyone!!🙏😇🤗💗

I struggled intensely with caffeine for many years. It used to make me feel horribly hours after drinking it and I suffered from heightened anxiety, but I still drank it and made excuse after excuse after excuse. I felt convicted to give it up, but I kept going back to it.
When I first heard this sermon I knew that I needed to pray about this indulgence. God gave me the victory. My mind is so much cleared and I don’t suffer from anxiety or stomach aches from drinking coffee.
I believe that God wants us to live healthy lives and that includes temperance.

Giselle Wisdom i loved capuccinos until i got breast cancer. They were a treat when i went out. The chemotherapy treatments made it that i can't taste or smell, and i never liked milk except in capuccinos.
So i see breast cancer as a blessing in changing my diet. God certainly works in mysterious ways to answer our prayers and sometimes the ways can be a strong wakep call! Ps. This is despite breast screens every two years.

I did the same thing with my mother (although the idea came from my older sibling I saw take money out of mom’s change purse). I’d steal a quarter out of her change purse everyday, until she asked one day, “who is taking money from my purse?” I had to stop ✋.
When I grew up, became a disciple of Christ, I gave my mom $10 in payment, as I confessed what I had done, all those years ago.

He came to his senses and asked God to help him with his addiction and now he can't stand them. Praying to overcome anything really works. It is a fact that dairy causes mucus in the body, so once you stopped eating ice cream, your body got rid of all the mucus that was clogging and effecting your breathing. Thank you pastor Doug for giving hope. I understand the ice-cream addiction, I was addicted to potato chips for about 10 years from teenager to my twenties, I was eating one bag of 150g almost every day, then potato chips got more expensive, and I got into an university dorm and I was a vegetarian but then my roommates would notice that I eat too much potatoe chips, so that motivated me enough to stop eating.
But my biggest problem is video games and porn addiction. After analyzing why I can't quit, I figured the problem is that I have nothing to take their place, when I try to quit these addictions some void is left and inevitably I end up in the mud again and again. I figgured that I have a solution for video games, the solution is working, working with my muscles. But for my pornographic addiction I can't find anything to substitute it. The longest I've got without it was 3 months. I worked some years before I could do university with my own money, but now the video game problem came back because all my work is on a computer, and it makes quiting pornographic addiction so much harder. I don't have anybody to talk to, except God (that's how I'm still alive) but loneliness fuells my addiction. I often feel like I'm the only one I can do sometimes for myself and that nobody can help me, that nobody understands me, and is probably true, because I don't speak to anyone no one speeks to me, seems right. But is often when I feel this way that I relapse. I need help, but I don't know how to ask for help and who. I know everyone has their own problems and so I don't want to bother anyone with my own problems, I never speak to anyone about my problems, like what happened to me today bad or good, not even to my mother, because many times when I tryied to speak to someone they are overwhelmed by their problems so mine seem so less important than their problems, the only help I have is Jesus, I've seen it in action, but my faith is dim.

Many struggle with addictions much worse than this. Regardless of how helpless we may feel when confronted with our addictions, let's remember God's promises.
"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." - 1 Corinthians 10:13
"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." - Philippians 4:13

7 Eleven and Haagen Daz! I could relate to this. I bought my first Haagen Daz at 7 Eleven (38 years ago) when visiting Long Island. I flew back to London with two containers in a little Igloo in my suitcase. Next thing I knew, Haagen Daz was at the supermarket in Britain!! It's still my choice of ice cream along with Green and Blacks.

Sugar addiction, carbs...when we were very, very young, all the kids in the neighborhood would take their weekly allowances and buy 3-4 candy bars, pork rinds, ice cream bars and drink sugary kool-aid and lemonade, Bubble-Up, or Fizzies. There was only one friend who was content with just an orange as a dessert or sweet treat and never wanted to join us in our forays into the sugar highs that brought on stomach aches. We dismissed her disciplined habits because she was deeply involved in ballet and dance classes. She never has had an issue with her weight as an adult, while we struggle to lose the 5-10 lbs. constantly. The COVID crisis exposed such tremendous issues within America on obesity and Type II diabetes, it should be a real eye-opener, and all I see on the current tv commercials are the medications that can takedown one's A1c level. The listing of potential side effects gives me a headache. Ai-Yai-Yai. I don't recall my parents' generation having this same problem with diabetes, other than the occasional Type I, which is generally genetic. My generation not only had the ice cream trucks but a well-known bakery truck that followed right behind those. They had the best cookies and donuts!
