That’s beautiful I’m glad to hear that. I hope that to be me I’ve never made it over almost 2 years. Please pray for me I’m struggling with fentanyl and alcohol. It’s bad and I pray Christ forgives me. My names Steph. Thanks so much
I am lifting you in prayer, along with myself, a nephew, a former neighbor, and anyone who is facing this trial. Greater is He who is in us, than he who is in the world. Blessings and peace! And remember the power that raised Jesus Christ from the grave is at work in each of us. PTL!
Jesus I'm broken and stuck in addiction I want to be well I'm powerless over my addiction please save me and give me the strength to over come and find you as my life and savior
Yes please dear Lord me too. Please oh God hear our cries. These chains are too strong for us to break without you Lord. Please God break them or show us how to unlock them. I'm 42 and i fear that i may not even make it to 50. Heck at my rate maybe not even 45... My prayers go out for all of us in this entire comment section.
@@stacycarmon8012 The LORD loves you and will continue to pursue you. Fight your battle on your knees, speak the name of Jesus into your life. Never give up, push forward. Your in my prayers today.🙏
Please pray that I am delivered from my addiction in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ...I have been fighting it & struggling with it for a long time & I don't want it anymore!!!
I just relapsed after being 150 days clean…. & I’m so pissed off and I can’t believe it. I was so happy for those 150 days. Now I’m just miserable and I feel like I’ve let GOD down. I just pray I can quit again. I don’t even enjoy getting high and I hate it so much and I just wish JESUS helps me again and I hope I didn’t disappoint him. I feel so bad but I also have realized who my true friends after this. Xoxo ✌️ GOD BLESS
I hope you are ok. Trust me, when I tell you this. I so hope you see this. God is still there, he already knew you would relapse, but he called you anyway. Satan wants us to think that God just gives up on us. He don't. We van not do it without him. That's how you stop the pattern, it's the goodness of God. He still loves us when we mess up. You will overcome it. Don't run from God. Even as your getting high cry out to God.
Thank you guys for the support but one thing I will always do is keep my Faith in GOD. It’s just not my time right now. But it’ll come again. I hope sooner than later. I just have these demons who are trying to distract me and turn away from GOD but I won’t and I’ll keep fighting back if I have to until these demons flee for good. I pray @ least 5 times a day. But I wish I was still clean or can get clean again. Xoxo ✌️ GOD BLESS🪽

The night, August 19h that I watched this, I had a dream it was a dream about helping people in recovery… the next morning I went to church, and during worship I was healed of alchol. I haven’t had a drink in 10 weeks nor have I desired any, and when I think about it, I just say no real loud and that is powerful! Now I have a Bible study every week for addicts in my home. Praise God! Thank you for this video I think that God used it to miraculously deliver me from alcohol to help others 🤗😃 The same power, that Rose Jesus from the grave lives in us!!!!!
Don’t give up Jesus loves you!!! He is your HOPE!!! He sees you! He hears you! Keep contending for your healing it will come!!! Read Psalms 30. Stay there with him for a while curl up in His lap and stay there don’t leave until He heals you!❤ Weeping may endure thru the night (dark night of your soul) but Joy comes in the morning!! Do you want to get well?? Crawl up into the lap of Hope! Getting well starts with your brokenness all you have to do is bring him your brokenness And just LET HIM, LET HIM Domus!!
I have one adult son who has been addicted to various drugs for over 30 yrs. The devil wants me lose hope that the Lord will deliver him, but I am not giving up, because I KNOW THE POWER OF GOD in my own life. He will deliver your sons if you are a true believer and keep seeking Christ in your own life and continue praying for your sons. Blessings to you in Jesus name.
Recovery is expensive after loosing everything to addiction. Over the past 7years i was given the privilege by God to address 136000 youth and 490 families have experienced the goodness of God through recovery. Some how I believe that recovery in a Christian way is total and takes further to give the good news to others. And that's what I am doing right now .
I read all these comments and my heart goes out to everyone here. Praying for you all to find hope, healing, and recovery. If you are struggling with addiction, surround yourself with people who are who you want to be, healthy, kind, strong people who love you and hold you accountable in Christian love
Thank you so much. Im 29 years sober one day at a time Praise God. And I needed to hear this today. May Godbless you all. Much love from Ireland. .❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🇮🇪🇮🇪
People pray for me and my addiction. I just got up for work this morning for work and cried to God. Told him that i needed his help with my opiate addiction. My addiction has gotten to the point where without opiate i have no energy to do my task at work. I try and try to stop but after a couple of days the physical withdrawal and sickness seems unbearable. Its hard to enter act with my kids and wife without being under the influence of the drug. I was on cocaine for years and the opiates helped me kick cocaine not knowing that i was trading one drug for a worser one. This video is the start of my sobriety. I know that with the help of God, I can do it. So today im admitting that i need help and really putting it in his hands.
Go to a treatment center that does IOP intensive outpatient treatment that does suboxone. Suboxone will immediate take away all physical cravings and withdraw symptoms and allow you to feel better to work on the deeper stuff. You can get your life back. You can, just ask for help. Go through an assessment at a treatment facility and explain your situation and just surrender. Good luck God Bless
Hi. I hope youre doing well and stuck with sobriety. Problem with this video is he says "all you need to do is let god trransform you, and change the way you think and dont think about your additction"..... oh "and makes amends with your lies and theivery". he then gives us a ist of things to do, to do those things.... "number one blah blah".... The next things needed to achieve this, he goes on to explains essentially was is tantamount to saying (to a sufferer of depression (such as myself and a lot of addicts)), - "you have depression? well just CHANGE the way you think about things?" - as if implying "Then you wont be depressed about it will you?" I agree with alot this guy says as it sounds very cathartic to do these things - however, and this is the big however, When you're unable to take ANY steps to quit, and I mean, when your cycle involves no social network, no partner, no friends, and working systems to currently support said habit that is that I want the POWER to stop. (if thta makes sense) becuase of my addiction, i have drove everyone away, locked myself away from the world (making my previous problems worse) - not because of any wrong doing or anything like that (I have never stole for my addiction, partly because never needed to and probably will lever need to - i've always had the cash and i can see myself being able to stay on that side of the law), The reason i have done this is becuase all i want to do is get high. "just think differently" well i just want to get high. I dont want a girlfriend or friends or any of that shiz. Well yes i do. Ofr course. but I'd rather get high. So. How do you take this "frist step" when you cant? im trying to quit but its impossible..... appreciate any thoughts. Apologies for my rambling. I know im clearly So DESPERATELY angry with myself because of what I've become and this causes 2am rants. God Bless x
I’m so blessed by this message of hope. This is what church should look like. So many family members of addicts have to hide in shame because of the stigma of their loved ones addiction. God bless 🙏
Your shame of your family member is what has you hiding. Truth is more people have someone in their life dealing with shameful things than we want to realize. It's a cruel world, try and enjoy your stay!
Please pray for me as I am in current fentanyl addiction and I am struggling everyday.I am so sick and tired of being sick and tired.I want to quit today with all my heart. For my self, for my 7 year old daughter. Please lord come into my heart and help relieve me of my addiction,I accept you as my lord and savior and please forgive me of all my many sins lord,I ask u to come into my heart dear lord because I need it.Bitord you all ready know that and I think u have been waiting for me to ask you for the help to get better. Please lord be with me.
Ask God for wisdom and understanding, and don't doubt that He will answer you. You must agree to submit to God and not be double-minded about that. Job 28:28 [...] Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding. Sin is evil. James 1:5-8 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. James 4:7-8 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." You must repent like the Bible teaches repentance: Isaiah 55:6-7 6 Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. It's the first step to connecting with God (Acts 20:20-21). The result is a new life (Romans 6:4-7). You must be born again and that must mean exactly what that means in the Bible. It's a transformation by the power of God. When the Bible talks about becoming a new creature in Christ, it's talking about a literal transformation into a new being (2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 5:15). Titus 3:3-7 highlights that. James 1:21-22 21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls [that's repentance]. 22 But be doers of the word [that's faith, which implies obedience], and not only hearers, deluding your own selves. Hebrews 5:9 And having been made perfect, He [Jesus] became the author of 👉 *eternal salvation to all those who obey Him* [...].
The hardest part is having people that won't condemn and judge you for struggles. That's soul crushing. If you are saved, you are no longer condemned. There should be no reason to make someone feel horrible for their struggles
It’s so funny this video came out two years ago but spoke DIRECTLY to my events today and it’s the first time I’ve heard it, it gives me goosebumps when I see God blatantly working in my life. So grateful❤
I have cancer and I'm still healing from a lifetime of abuse that I have experienced mentally, emotionally and physically and also maintaining my 18 month sobriety. Even though I struggle with my mental health, even on bad days I try. Even the smallest things, I try. But I often go through this alone. I don't really talk to anyone about all this, even my boyfriend. I'm so thankful for God being there to talk to 🙏
Luke 5:31-32 31 And Jesus answered them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 32 I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance." How do you relate to repentance? Given that it is the key to Jesus healing our souls, it's important to understand what God is asking from the Scriptures when He calls everyone everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30-31). It implies total reliance on Him and the desire to obey Him in all going forward. It's trusting that the path of following Jesus faithfully (obeying Him), is the right path and the only path we want to be on. I’m currently in withdrawal from opiates. Was a heroin addict and went straight to suboxone and avoided a detox and after almost 10 years I’m quitting everything and this helped me have hope. I’m at the stage where the physical withdrawal is gone but my brain isn’t producing any serotonin/dopamine so I feel like a zombie with no emotions. ANd this sermon was food for my brain. Thank you
I’m a recovering heroin and opiate addict myself and I know that pain so well….I pray you’re doing well and if you need a friend I’m here I have been there and walked that life I gave up everything for drugs I lost it all even went to prison for it but I’m 3 years sober today WE DO RECOVER!! You can do this!!
I'm in SA. My grandson Kailen 23yrs is on substances and mental health issues. Pls uphold this child in prayer as his parents passed on..what I'm listening to now resonates with Kailen. My son and I are alone in this situation.
I am also working through addiction. Cynthia, you are not alone. You got this. We got this. With God's love and strength, we will overcome our addiction and fears and be a beacon for others. Whenever you get knocked down just take God's hand and get right back up. ❤
I’m going to suggest that we better be talking about it. I have been in the recovery field for over half of my life and I have lost so so many friends and family to addiction of Alcohol and Drugs and Alcohol Is A Drug. God Has Helped Me Stay Clean And Sober twenty three years now. I have been in and out of jails and institutions since 10 years old 59 now. Alcohol and drugs took me to atheism To Agnostic To A Christian That Studies The Bible For hours on end Now I Am Addicted To The Word Of God. Alcoholics Anonymous/ Narcotics Anonymous/ and Al-anon For People Like Me That Was Not Raised Up With God Anywhere Around Are House. It’s A Start To Recovery .With Love Brothers and Sisters.
I just turned 31 and am facing quite a few years in jail. I'm an alcoholic and I made some mistakes. I came here to find Jesus. I was raised in the faith.
Hi, Come back here again and ask someone to help you get through these hard things in your life. God will always help you and He uses people around us to guide us too. I'm praying for you too!
Justin, the same power that rose Jesus from the grave lives, in you just ask him for help. Ask him to use all that is ahead of you he will set you free through your circumstances just call out to him and he will answer you knock and he will open the door, seek and you will find him, ask and don’t quit run after him with your whole heart. He loves the addicts!!!!

So I’ll be honest here. I’m 18, and I would say that a few reasons I struggle to have assurance of my salvation sometimes is because my prayer life isn’t totally consistent, and maybe this is in part due to the fact that I’m struggling to overcome a vaping addiction. I am convicted that vaping is wrong, because it puts my physical and mental health in jeopardy and it’s not honorable to the body that God gave me - but even when I’ve made attempts to quit using nicotine in the past, it seems to be my besetting sin, and I often find myself relapsing. When I do relapse, I feel really ashamed, and I tend to feel like God’s patience with me is wearing thin or that He doesn’t want to hear from me until I stop using it. I just want to ask for y’all’s prayers, for wisdom as well as my deliverance from this sin in my life because I absolutely hate it but it’s genuinely addictive. Another reason that I occasionally hesitate is that I’m sometimes sort of intimidated by the thought of reading my Bible…? I don’t know why I feel this way; maybe it’s because I don’t always know where to begin reading. But even though I know that salvation is by grace through faith alone, I sometimes have this sneaking suspicion that I need to quit the nicotine before I can get close to Jesus through His Word. Much love to y’all. Please keep me in your prayers :)
Jesus will meet you where you are and he will help you! God doesn’t want you to wait until you have it all together before you seek Him. He loves throughout all your highs and lows , and He can help you overcome. The book of Psalms is a great place to start reading if you’re not sure what to read 🙏🏽
Come to Jesus just as you are. He loves you so much. Start with Psalms. His holy word will begin to cover you with his love. I am praying that your vaping will end! I pray that the enemy is bided. You are a child of God. Lord Jesus you hear your child yearning to know you. May you touch this persons heart with your grace and never ending love. May this addiction be over. I the name ofJesus I pray for healing! Praying for you!
Thank you so much for this!!! I'm currently going through this and needed to hear this more than I've ever needed to hear anything else in my entire life! Blessed be!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
GOD BLESS YOU DIANA, I’m on my 6th of recovery from alcohol, cocaine and marijuana, I struggled with addiction for 22 years. I am almost 19 and I have been struggling with a fentanyl addiction for a year now. I just got out of rehab and am in a halfway house now. I relapsed yesterday and felt so guilty and felt that I failed myself and God. My depression and anxiety feel worse than they ever have and all I want is joy and the willpower to say no. Please pray for me to break this addiction and to find the life I want to live, I don’t want to be prisoner anymore to drugs
He saved me our marriage our family restored everything the enemy took from us .. idc where you are today Jesus loves you and will take this from you his blood is enough ❤
O Lord Jesus Christ, by the power of Your precious blood and the intercession of the Holy Spirit, we humbly come before You, seeking Your help in conquering the chains of addiction that bind us. We acknowledge our weakness and our desperate need for Your divine grace and mercy. Pour forth Your healing love upon us, dear Lord, and grant us the strength to resist the allure of addictive substances and behaviors. Remove from our hearts the desire and craving that lead us astray, replacing them with a deep longing for Your presence and the peace that only You can provide. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, ignite within us a renewed sense of self-control, discipline, and determination. Guide us along the path of recovery, providing us with the necessary support, resources, and community to overcome the challenges that lie ahead. Grant us the wisdom to discern the underlying causes of our addictions and the courage to face and address them with honesty and humility. Help us to seek professional help and the guidance of spiritual mentors who can aid us on our journey of healing. Lord Jesus, we offer You our weaknesses and vulnerabilities, trusting that You can transform our struggles into opportunities for growth and redemption. Grant us the grace to surrender our will to Your divine will, finding solace and strength in Your unfailing love and mercy. We also pray for those who suffer from addiction, that they may find hope, support, and the realization of their inherent worth in Your saving grace. May Your healing touch extend to all who are affected by the devastating grip of addiction, bringing them freedom, restoration, and a renewed purpose in life. We make this prayer through You, Jesus Christ, our Savior, and with the guidance and intercession of the Holy Spirit. May Your love and mercy be our guiding light as we journey towards the freedom from addiction that can only be found in You. Amen.

Thank You🔥 Through Prayer, Reading The Word and You I’ve started my RUclips channel from the perspective of the first days of getting away from my addictions with The Lord. Kinda like Bill W did way before he started AA. Bill W had a first day, first week, months & years. He was in The Oxford Group. He was in The Word as well as fellowship with Christian men and was always going to Church. Your video is a great template for my own journey with Christ❤️ Just wanted to say Thank You❤️
Addiction is painful and difficult to resolve! Being a Christian is not saying you are perfect! You come to God broken and ask forgiveness! Healing is not always what we expect at that moment!!
Mike I sure miss you I used to attend Willow Creek Church in Berrington Illinois or was it Hoffman Estates I can't remember but anyways you were by far me and my wife's favorite pastor we miss you Mike. Glad everything is going well for you down in Tennessee. Blessings to you and your family.
Never give up! Proverbs 24:16 is an encouraging verse that says, “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.” Pray and cry out to God when tempted by Satan - he wants you addicted! You can do it!!! Cheer up! God bless you! - Joe from Korea.
I keep thinking back from when I lost everything in 2016 and I keep revisiting the bad decisions that I make and it makes me get triggered with depression and I reach out for crack cocaine to numb my feelings until at least feel something because being clean has been very boring. Every day is exactly the same boring and depressing. I pray to God for him to help me stay off of the stuff and it lasts for about a month or two and then I go back to it. It’s like a cycle.
The result is a new life (Romans 6:4-7, Titus 3:3-7). James 1:21-22 21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls [that's repentance]. 22 But be doers of the word [that's faith, which implies obedience], and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.
Honestly, this is how the Christian was intended to handle this kind of situations. The husband was immediately grieved, sought God, took the step that creates the issue and was honest with his wife. The wife showed him grace, forgiveness, mercy, love and faithfulness. Scripture allows for divorce in unfaithfulness but their hearts weren’t hardened, they submitted to Jesus. God is GOOD.
You can share this message with him: Ask God for wisdom and understanding, and don't doubt that He will answer you. You must agree to submit to God and not be double-minded about that. Job 28:28 [...] Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding. Sin is evil. Hebrews 5:9 And having been made perfect, He [Jesus] became the author of 👉 *eternal salvation to all those who obey Him* [...]. NB: He has to first agree that he has a problem that Jesus solves when He is trusted to do that. Obeying Him is key.
If you have some time today and would like to pray for my sister dealing with a severe alcohol addiction, I am just at a loss. We keep bringing her to detox to stop drinking herself to death and we've exhausted all avenues with rehab and facilities. I am really praying for God to remove the devil's play in this and that he doesn't take her. Thank you for this wonderful message.
i need prayer so much. i’m trying to break free from my alcohol addiction and i admit in shame i distanced myself from God. i miss Him and i miss myself before this trial

I'm 3 years sober God loves us. All of us. Don't give up ❤
That’s beautiful I’m glad to hear that.
PTL!
I'm happy for you, I can not wait until I can say that! Much Love

Amen me too

Me too amen
Yes please dear Lord me too. Please oh God hear our cries. These chains are too strong for us to break without you Lord. Please God break them or show us how to unlock them. I'm 42 and i fear that i may not even make it to 50. Heck at my rate maybe not even 45... My prayers go out for all of us in this entire comment section.
@@stacycarmon8012 The LORD loves you and will continue to pursue you. Fight your battle on your knees, speak the name of Jesus into your life. Never give up, push forward. Your in my prayers today.🙏

At least you realize and never give up. You have breath left where so many don’t.

I haven’t had a drink in 10 weeks nor have I desired any, and when I think about it, I just say no real loud and that is powerful!

He will deliver your sons if you are a true believer and keep seeking Christ in your own life and continue praying for your sons. Blessings to you in Jesus name.
🙏🙌❤️
Many many prayers for you 🙏🙏🙏
I’m a couple years late but this is a wonderful message. Thank you for putting this online and this whole message is fuel for the soul. Thank you.
Tomorrow is day one sobriety for drink and drugs. Please pray for me. God bless 🙏
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😌

Thank you so much. Im 29 years sober one day at a time Praise God. And I needed to hear this today. May Godbless you all. Much love from Ireland. .❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🇮🇪🇮🇪
Good for you 29 years is a long time!
12 mins in and I’ve cried 5x 😮💨😮💨😮💨 praise god thank you Jesus 🙏
You can do it! God loves you.
May God strengthen you in your journey. My son is struggling as well- I wouldn’t wish this on any family! God bless you
The next things needed to achieve this, he goes on to explains essentially was is tantamount to saying (to a sufferer of depression (such as myself and a lot of addicts)), - "you have depression? well just CHANGE the way you think about things?" - as if implying "Then you wont be depressed about it will you?"
I agree with alot this guy says as it sounds very cathartic to do these things - however, and this is the big however,
When you're unable to take ANY steps to quit, and I mean, when your cycle involves no social network, no partner, no friends, and working systems to currently support said habit that is that I want the POWER to stop. (if thta makes sense)
becuase of my addiction, i have drove everyone away, locked myself away from the world (making my previous problems worse) - not because of any wrong doing or anything like that (I have never stole for my addiction, partly because never needed to and probably will lever need to - i've always had the cash and i can see myself being able to stay on that side of the law),
The reason i have done this is becuase all i want to do is get high.
"just think differently"
well i just want to get high.
God Bless
x
You can do it but not alone we need help and support I'll be praying for you as I fight this battle as well
First time listening today so glad I came across Mike.
Thank-you pastor keep your sermons coming GOD bless you
I’m so blessed by this message of hope.
They don’t have to but they do
Yes a lot of them don't preach this
Please pray for me as I am in current fentanyl addiction and I am struggling everyday.I am so sick and tired of being sick and tired.I want to quit today with all my heart.
Job 28:28
[...] Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.
Sin is evil.
James 1:5-8
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
James 4:7-8
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Acts 2:38
Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
You must repent like the Bible teaches repentance:
Isaiah 55:6-7
6 Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.
James 1:21-22
21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls [that's repentance]. 22 But be doers of the word [that's faith, which implies obedience], and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.
Hebrews 5:9
And having been made perfect, He [Jesus] became the author of 👉 *eternal salvation to all those who obey Him* [...].
I'm so thankful for God being there to talk to 🙏
Know that you are loved ❤
Luke 5:31-32
31 And Jesus answered them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 32 I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance."
How do you relate to repentance? Given that it is the key to Jesus healing our souls, it's important to understand what God is asking from the Scriptures when He calls everyone everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30-31).
It implies total reliance on Him and the desire to obey Him in all going forward. It's trusting that the path of following Jesus faithfully (obeying Him), is the right path and the only path we want to be on.
It's the first step to connecting with God (Acts 20:20-21). The result is a new life (Romans 6:4-7).
You must be born again and that must mean exactly what that means in the Bible. It's a transformation by the power of God.
Thank you
@Vengeance824 you are evil and no child of Christ goes around using the word of God to shame people even tho that’s a sin.
@Vengeance824 you are seriously gonna be judged for your mean, evil, and heartless acts. I pray that Jesus has mercy on your sinful soul

How you doing? Are you back out now? Closer to God?
My family and I need prayers as well we are all addicts, Praying for all of you as well

Right now I'm still struggling but my fiance has been trying to be help me go back to Jesus and get help . I'm gonna keep praying and take it one day at a time n listening to these videos .
1 John 4:4, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” 🙏

GOD BLESS YOU DIANA, I’m on my 6th of recovery from alcohol, cocaine and marijuana, I struggled with addiction for 22 years. I started with marijuana at the age of 13 and moved on up to alcohol and moved on to cocaine, throughout my recovery I have now gotten closer to my family. These last 6 years have been the most highlighted days of my life, it’s truly a blessing a blessing from our HEAVENLY FATHER. I cried to our HEAVENLY FATHER for help and forgiveness, and I asked him to keep me away from all my addiction, he answered all my prayers every cry of help I ask him for he gave me his all, one day 6 years ago I woke up and said to GOD, I promise you that I will quit my addictions and that I would fight the demons everyday to be a better son, sibling, friend and a better person to everyone, I now walk hand in hand with our HEAVEN FATHER, I walk with his faith his light his love his sun, I hope that you get the help you need and are looking for with the prayers you are asking for, GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS and I will be praying for you and your family 🙏🙏🙏, sending you prayers from Southern California 🙏🙏

Ask God for wisdom and understanding, and don't doubt that He will answer you. You must agree to submit to God and not be double-minded about that.
James 1:21-22
21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls [that's repentance]. 22 But be doers of the word [that's faith, which implies obedience], and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.
Thank you. This video hit home for me, and reminded me there is hope.

This has been everything i needed to hear
Thanks for sharing God bless you're ministry
Wow I like this pastor honesty
I am almost 19 and I have been struggling with a fentanyl addiction for a year now. I just got out of rehab and am in a halfway house now. I relapsed yesterday and felt so guilty and felt that I failed myself and God. My depression and anxiety feel worse than they ever have and all I want is joy and the willpower to say no. Please pray for me to break this addiction and to find the life I want to live, I don’t want to be prisoner anymore to drugs
Praying!
Amen.
He comes to Pinelake church in Jackson Mississippi all the time! What a switch in community! This guy is awesome

Amen Pastor Mike, Love the point on forgiveness and letting go.
This is such an important subject. Thank you.
Your video is a great template for my own journey with Christ❤️
Just wanted to say Thank You❤️
Pastor Mike, you are beautiful, thank you for talking about this. I needed to hear this and have been looking for this. thank you so much
Prayers for me
I have lost it all
Lost in love
Now a fentanyl addiction
I need strength to stand alone
Thank you
May God shine his face upon you and seek and you will find his strength and power. ❤
Asking for prayer. This is starting to get really dark and out of control. I need help and I don’t have resources for treatment.
Addiction is painful and difficult to resolve! Being a Christian is not saying you are perfect! You come to God broken and ask forgiveness! Healing is not always what we expect at that moment!!
Beautiful message ❤
Mike I sure miss you I used to attend Willow Creek Church in Berrington Illinois or was it Hoffman Estates I can't remember but anyways you were by far me and my wife's favorite pastor we miss you Mike. Glad everything is going well for you down in Tennessee. Blessings to you and your family.
I relapse I'm back at rock bottom again 😔
thank you for this video
Never give up! Proverbs 24:16 is an encouraging verse that says, “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.” Pray and cry out to God when tempted by Satan - he wants you addicted! You can do it!!! Cheer up! God bless you! - Joe from Korea.
Please pray for me I’m struggling with meth usage it has a strong hold on me
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Give God all the praise and glory
I keep thinking back from when I lost everything in 2016 and I keep revisiting the bad decisions that I make and it makes me get triggered with depression and I reach out for crack cocaine to numb my feelings until at least feel something because being clean has been very boring. Every day is exactly the same boring and depressing. I pray to God for him to help me stay off of the stuff and it lasts for about a month or two and then I go back to it. It’s like a cycle.
I am heroin addict i have prayed and prayed i am just lost don't know what to do please please pray for me for my soul that my soul be saved

Ty for this prayers for us all to be who he's made us to be and free to walk it out for his glory
Prayers for My Son. He drinks and is very hard to live with. ❤️🙏🏼 doesn’t think He has a problem!

@Vengeance824 can you explain what you mean by this verse? I comprehend the verse, but I am confused by the context you are using it in.
It's 2024 & Much Needed Message.
Sir, God spoke through you.
Our son Ashish is in the vicious cycle of addiction to cigarettes . Kindly pray for him.
