As long as you can afford a car you're allowed to own one, the problem being that most North Koreans don't make enough to afford one. They're very expensive for your average North Korean, I don't think they domestically produce any vehicles so I'm sure importing every car they sell probably drives up car prices as well.

I think its only for the certain classes of people that can afford it.
As long as you can afford a car you're allowed to own one, the problem being that most North Koreans don't make enough to afford one. They're very expensive for your average North Korean, I don't think they domestically produce any vehicles so I'm sure importing every car they sell probably drives up car prices as well.
They actually have a little bit of automotive industry but as mentioned bying a car is not for the most North Koreans.
