Ahhh the good old days, back when these guys still had fun and enjoyed life as a professional, and were allowed to be themselves! I miss seeing the pros win races and throw heel clickers, supermans, and can-cans over a huge triple... These days the teams won't allow these tricks because of the "risk" factor... so sad...

I own 1996 CR250 Jeremy Mcgraph edition, and I swear by it! Just gotta upgrade the suspension and a few odds and ends, and you are garentueed holeshot everytime!

Back in the days I had a '95 CR 125 and a '95 RM 250 which I still have and when I ride dirt bikes from nowdays it seem to me like riding bicycles. The new technology bikes have better brakes and way better handling.Even a girl can ride them, but dirt bikes are for men.You know what I mean, right?
I got hooked to endura! First of all started drinking it, then started smoking it, at the end I was injecting endura 3x a day. Still gets mad arm pump.
jeremy is my favorite rider of all times he proved its not the make of bike but how much you put into it and he did watched all his races cheered him on wanted him to win all the time hes not cocky about it a true winner 100
+karl schweizer McGrath actually proved the exact opposite of your obviously bias statement. He was untouchable on a Honda for years then when his contract was up demanded so much money as champ, Honda wouldn't pay and let him go. Suzuki forked out the second highest bid to sign him and he never won a single race on a Suzuki. Only after riding for team Yahama did he suddenly jump back to being number two. So just to recap... McGrath was cocky enough to screw up a re-sign with team honda. Then he proved it was the bike since he went from the winningest rider of all time on a Honda to a straight scrub on a Suzuki. Then, Carmichael hit the scene and McGrath was permanently dethroned.
No, your right and I agree with you. At the time Yamaha was said to be the best off the line stock bike, not factory modified. Team Honda was the best team of the days with the most winning riders and I say this as a Yamaha fan myself. McGrath was the first of his kind. Once other riders got on the same level as him he was simply not as fast. McGrath was still at the top of his game when he rode for team Suzuki and went without a win all season. It's of course a combination of team mechanics, the machine itself and rider ability that is the winning recipe.
Eyeslo 420, McGrath actually won both round 8 in Minneapolis and round 11 in St. Louis in 1997, the year he rode for Suzuki. Aside from the 2 wins that year, he had 7 other podiums and was 2nd in the championship. Also, Honda did not let him go. He quit Honda for 2 reasons. The 1st was that the team wanted total control over his public image, and the 2nd reason was that during pre-season testing he rode the new for 1997 Honda and realized it was not going to be a competitive machine. This was proven when Honda was the ONLY team to not win a 250 main that year. McGrath and Greg Albertyn both won on the Suzuki, Jeff Emig and Damon Huffman both won on the Kawasaki, and Doug Henry, Ezra Lusk, and Kevin Windham all won on the Yamaha. The best Honda finish that year was 3rd place (5 times, once by Michael Craig, once by Damon Bradshaw, and 3 times by Larry Ward). Finally, Carmichael didn't just show up and "dethrone" him. Carmichael was in the 250 class with McGrath for 2 years before he started beating him, by which time McGrath was 30 years old and past his prime.
Man I remember watching McGrath ride that track from the freeway. Now it's illegal to ride a dirtbike on your own property in this whole damn county...
The new bikes are better in almost every way, hands down. Maybe not more fun, but better. I started on an 89 cr, then 97,98, 05,09. the bikes were mostly better every year. But 89 to 09 is a big leap in handling, power, suspension and ergonomics.
Bring back some of that gear, what happened to color, how did we go from all that color to a few earth tones like drab brown and grey, or the same damn blue and green everything.
I remember when I bought the helmet that said showtime across the back in bones. 3 months and I get one that is too small and I never got another one. Wtfffff lol
"even a girl can ride them, but dirt bikes are for men." I'm not so sure I'd agree... My sister and I grew up desert racing. she still rides desert like a maniac, and is a really downhill mountain biker, always on the podium in the expert class... If dirtbikes are for men, I guess her kx450f is no match for my 250xc?
it's so fucked up to see him all decked out in Sinisalo gear...when I started paying attention to pro racing, Jeremy McGrath was a factory honda racer with a number 1 plate on his CR250R & he won everything that he touched...he wore Fox Pants/Jersey/Gloves, Alpinestars Boots, Bell Helmets, Spy Goggles,
You know I was wondering where Travis Pastrana got the idea to use big wheels in his nitro circus and may have found out the real inspiration,I had to look twice watching nitro circus,I was like what da hek was...no that's ah no,oh yeah it was as the thing gets crushed...okay....kids these days unincrediable...
Well besides the fact that you most likely hate men and want nothing to do with them i agree.I was your age and all my friends had motorcycles and wanted to race very badly and my parents wouldnt or couldnt support my dreams. If you have a bike ride girl ride.Dont ever give up on your dreams! NEVER!
Really, technology sucks man, we should go back to riding BSAs and Harleys with all the street stuff stripped off and maybe 2 inches of travel and about an extra 100 lbs like real men. All these damn new fangled bikes that let you jump 80-100 ft gaps and blitz whoops, or triple on a SX track are for pussies. Man up, take a shot of wild turkey, and just gas it and go for it even if your sure to crash just like Evil Knievel did on his stripped down Harley.
I'm a girl and bought my first bike at 16 since nobody else helped me support my dream. Still working to get myself up there but man I have a lot more motivation than a lot of guys out there who's rich parents by them everything. I ramped my lil 90 into a trampoline at 25mph.. bike went under I went stomach first into the pole.. Didn't shed a tear. I hate seeing all these pussy boys crying over little crashes and shit.. Us girls can ride too ya know!
Man, that was painful. Thankfully I had Endura to help me through.
Miss the 90's.....

I just had a 96 cr125 I bought to fix up. It wasn't all that fast, but man that bike turned better than any other bike I had ever ridden.
not only one of the best racers...but he def helped with the FMX movement..which i dont even like fmx...but he def started some of it
If I had a dollar for everytime they said Enduro race fuel for your body in this video I would be a rich man.😂
Rookie McGrath with the sinisalo gear! Ahh the days and Astars boots
Everything about this was so different than it is today
I got hooked to endura! First of all started drinking it, then started smoking it, at the end I was injecting endura 3x a day. Still gets mad arm pump.

What, you cant ride on your own property?
Yup I still listen ASD
Who would've guessed the McGrath Corporate Headquarters was disguised as an old dirty muffler shop...
Thats cool.
Im just done restoring my Cr 250 from 1994
I was at his first win in Anaheim. I was rooting for Bradshaw at the time haha
7:00 what's Wayne from The Wonder Years doing on McGrath's bike?
Extended ad by endura and Alpinestar, I'm not complaining
ohhh the 90s....
David Chiarizzi best time
really.......90s the best..........................cazzo come mi mancano quegli anni!!!
Thinking bout picking up a 1996 cr250 for a retro rebuild in McGrath colors. Any opinions
i love the old school bikes they just seam alot more smother to me and so much faster than the new bikes
The new bikes are better in almost every way, hands down. Maybe not more fun, but better. I started on an 89 cr, then 97,98, 05,09. the bikes were mostly better every year. But 89 to 09 is a big leap in handling, power, suspension and ergonomics.
Corny as hell but I loved it. Man we’re the 90’s that ridiculous? Lol
Yes, yes Shawn they were.....and it was fantastic.
"You forgot your secret weapon ........ Endura ! Race fuel for your body!"
Very Nice Mcgrath show pilot
Bring back some of that gear, what happened to color, how did we go from all that color to a few earth tones like drab brown and grey, or the same damn blue and green everything.
Now in 2021 the gear is down right awful. Its looks like the riders are dressing for soccer
"Huge triples , 90feet in the air!!!" .. hits 3tiny whoops doesn't even go 5ft in the air.... 🤔🤣🤣
The music is just so..so... I don't know, greasy!! I like it!
Anyone know the 2 opening songs ?
I feel like I’m watching a motocross episode of “Leave It To Beaver”
Jeremy could've been a porn actor too with those skills
That's some great acting
This is the most 90's thing ever.
I remember when I bought the helmet that said showtime across the back in bones. 3 months and I get one that is too small and I never got another one. Wtfffff lol
sweet a jeremy mcgrath channel
Nostalgia Darth Vader says "the 90s is strong with this one"
I still have this VHS. Yes it's cheesy but I enjoyed it as. Like. A. 10 year. Old. Kid
Classic! i dig the acting, love the oldschool bikes had both of them now ride a ktm 300 08 go the 2 stroke!
I was around at that time and Jesus that endura was horrible, it was like drinking scum off a bucket 😂
i want that gear so badly
Big up champion
You drive cars , You ride bikes
It removes muscle cramping because of the electroates which you can find in gatorade and most sports drinks
Is 90's motocross and the 90's in general overly romanticized or were they really that awesome?
i wonder if endura is still around lol
The 90s
yes they honestly are in my opinion
94 kx 250 was fukin awesome
I guess if he needed magnesium from 02 and up he could have took a bite out of his bikes clutch cover.
06:13 - Oscar-worthy
That obs ford at 9:30
i got my a day in the life cheese of the 90s
Thanks Michael :) I wont. If my kids ever have dreams whether I like them or not, as long as they're realistic I will make it happen for them.
Now thats good advertising.
corny as hell but kinda funny , lol
thank you tyler!!!!!!!!!!!
Sometimes this sounds like a 90s porno LOL
Are you mr porn you probably don't even ride dirt bikes haha at least iam going to get one
Man! I better get some Endura!
forgot your secret weapon.....ha.
ENDURA ! Race fuel for your body !
the second: 'i'll be back'..
its funny, the 43 bike i used to have on the dueling jeremies part. but as much as i miss my old 2 stroke, my yz426f is wayy better!
I want the endura. That would be a nice for. Me
The acting is on par with Baywatch, classic 90s haha
Cheesy is an understatement.
I need to get me some Endura..... ;)
yes
I have a 97 and 01 Cr250.
was he jus sponsored by Camel and didn't use them right? that's funny, kinda hard to advertise him smoking a cig if he doesn't smoke?

Yes, it's absolutely appalling. I didn't even make it to the end.
I swear my 93 CR250 was faster than my 01 CR, 03 KX, 04 CR......need I say more ? 2012 is here and I'm looking for a 93-96 CR to restore.
i want endura
@rylok i wear one
