Glad you liked it :) I should point out that in the newly released FL Studio version 20 this is no longer an issue, as the metronome is now delay compensated by default. :)
Putting it on a track will enable automatic delay compensation, so I recommend always placing it on a track. the PDC was redesigned in FL20, so I recommend updating unless you've already done so.
Thanks sir! Please make a tutorial on how to sync a random sample to the host tempo! usually some samples comes with the label, which tells us the original tempo of the sample and then its easy to sync that sample to the host tempo. but some samples don't have the label. so make a video on that issue please!
i am connecting mu korg monoloque to fl studio but when i insert notes in piano roll the played notes are not synced with the beat from fl studio a bit of delay occurs when playing the notes from the piano roll any idea how to sync the synthesizer korg with my beats
Hi! Thanks for the vid. Worked instantly. Do you by chance know how to also delay the video? Like now the metronome is in sync, but the playmarker goes through and then the sound is still a beat behind what I see on the screen. I wonder if there’s a way to fix that
Go to "options" -> "audio settings" and then you'll see something named "playback tracking". It's set to hybrid by default. Try setting it to mixer or driver instead and see if that fixes the issue. :)
Is it possible to somehow compensate for the delay in playing the samples of some libraries in the Kontakt plug-in in the piano roll? For example, as in Cubase!
You get some lag when playing live? You'll have to adjust the latency. There's no "low latency mode" in FL so it's always kind of a hassle when you have a large heavy project and you want to record something.. Try consolidationg some stuff or turn off eavy effects and then adjust the sample rate to get lower latency.
It's possible to set the delay compensation manually in MS in the mixer. Route the instrument to a mixer track, and then click on that clock symbol. It's usually set to automatic. You can set it to manual and correct it that way. Note that when doing this, any effects and such that you add on that track will also be affected, so if you were to do it that way I would suggest freezing it once you're done, and then apply apdc again before adding effects, or routing it to another track and then apply effects there which is automatically delay compensated.
when i adjust my volume my metronome stops clicking. When i turn the volume up to ~32-100 it works but when its under ~32 it just clicks once, track starts - it clicks once and thats all. Please if you know whats the issue i would be really appreciated
Hello, I have a problem for the metronome, let it work while I'm recording a guitar in Edison to keep me in the rhythm. When I finish the recording, I release this image and it is heard with the metronome in it, is it a mistake?
This makes the kick go great with the meteronome (Phew) but then my Hihat (on 2 step) gets unsynced. It gets synced when its on M in the preview mixer track. Please help!!
Please, I really need help. I applied your solution to my project and everything seemed to work perfectly. But then, I just added a new effect to a track and this time, randomly, the kick went out of tempo. I've been looking for a solution for a long time but I still can solve it. Do you know what can I do? Thanks
Are you using an older version of FL Studio? I recommend getting the newest one. They've totally reworked the plugin delay compensation in the newest versions, which should take care of out of sync issues.
Using fl studio 12 tempo keeps changing when i adjust it in song mode i tried playing with tempo automations now its acting stupid i cleared the tempo automation clips even went in and cut any just in case cant fix its annoying
All samples have to be in stretch mode if you plan on automating the tempo. The later versions of FL Studio have upgrades that makes this process easier. I recommend that you upgrade to the latest version. You can then simply use the stretch macro to enable this for all samples, and then automate the tempo and it should work.
@@FireWalkMusic i got it u go to current projects then click pattern too reset then click initial audio or something in those word and delete the clips its literally stupid but u have too because even tho u thought its gone its still in there so thats wat u gotta do....type in tempo glitch for the vid if u want its on busyworks beats channel but great vids keep it up
There is a button in the transport panel where you can turn off the count down if you want. There should not be any gaps in the recording. What version of FL are you using? There is a bug in the latest version (12.5) that causes the first / last note to be cut off when recording midi. This is already fixed in the 12.5.1 beta, but it's not officially released yet.
Hi, please I have a question that has been bothering me. I have searched all over the internet and I just need a definite answer or solution or explanation for this issue. What is the very best way to go about exporting an audio wav file from a daw and into another daw without having this very annoying out-of-sync/latency issue with the imported wav in the second daw. I just need the absolute best solution. I know there is REMOVE ALL EFFECTS FROM TRACKS BEFORE EXPORTING, SOUNDCARD, and a bunch of other suggested solutions. I just need to hear from you. Thanks.
No. If a vocal is out of sync then you'll have to time stretch it. Check out my video about how to do this here: ruclips.net/video/r7SDWpSk1h4/видео.html
which version are you running? There are some glitches in the 12.5.1 too.. I'm having a problem of my own, it's not recording the first note when recording midi, damn annoying. :\
@@kenjixmusic found out that it was because i haden't put the drums on a mixer channel. for some reason it puts it out of sync if some things are on a mixer and some aren't.

I guess you're right about that, someone should make a video about this. Unfortunately the PDC system in FL Studio is far from perfect. For the most part it works ok, but once you start doing some fancy routing, making sub mixes and using send tracks then it will often fail. Often you won't even notice that it has failed. So some of your sound will be slightly out of sync without you even noticing. The first thing you should keep in mind is that send tracks are not delay compensated. So you'll have to set up a third track in order to "fool" it in such a way that it evens out. But this isn't always easy to do if you're using submixes and such. Then there's the hardware part. FL Studio is just about the only daw that does not directly support hardware such as the Access Virus TI for example, and this is also due to the PDC system. Image-Line has said that they are going to look at the PDC issues in FL Studio 13. So let's hope they manage to improve it. :)
