I'm very impressed with your teaching style...learn songs, scales and chords first. Being a senior, I'm not aspiring to play concerts, but I do want to learn correctly. Your teaching method is what sold me. Your videos are short, easily understood, entertaining and your videos look great. You are a lovely young lady who comes across as someone who truly wants her students to learn piano.
I've only started in January and, luckily, found you last month. I've watched many of your videos and I'm still trying to sort out which ones to start with. If there is an ordered playlist I should follow or something of that sort, let me know.
    Keep up the great work.

Lots of trouble co ordinating beat using a gadget ... then had the idea to s-l-o-w it down... so this mornings practce got me smiling, great ... so much info here...i thought the metronome was one of the 1st stages to learning a song... makes moRe sense that its applied to the 'polishing' stage .... Im learning ...however... these instructions here just got me soooo much more motivated... thank you for this.
I learnt to type on a manual typewriter ... Typing to accompany a (vinyl) record with varying degrees of beat(to increase speeds 0 to 80+wpm) ... but still it took your advice before i connected the methods. :)

I think I can play most scales at a reasonable bpm. I loved your tips about how to respond when you’re fighting the metronome, and I appreciate your constant reminders to practice effectively (like breaking things up into chunks or scheduling practice times each week).

Love this video! So helpful. Currently at a level 5, but I do need to learn the song first. I've always been a fast typist in school, but I do need to slow down!

My age is 58, i never try to play keyboard in my past but now I am interested and love to play but, i try my best but I can't... Is any solution?

Yes. we are the same age when I learnt to play keyboard.
We are senior but not dull to learn. What I did was just played one song only til I easily moved my fingers for each keys smoothly. Just practice everyday.
