My favorite arpeggio is the Alberti Bass. I learned the intro to “Come Sail Away” using this style. Thank you for sharing your musical gift and insights. Blessings
From someone who just about know what a piano looks like, but adores the music and keeps having bad thoughts about yet another hobby, I love the visual overhead teaching style and highlighting here!
Just ran into your teaching. I took a few months of piano lessons nearly 40 years ago. I retired last year and hadn't touched my keyboard in years. Thank you for your lessons. I've been relearning some songs that I knew, but these reels that you're doing is teaching me so much more. Thank you.
I have tinker with piano for most of my life, but never learn to play consistently and to read music, etc. etc. the arpeggios are beautiful started playing some of them and making progress
This video is so eye opening. I used to sit and play around with chords, once I'd learned them, and these seem really natural. I didn't know arpeggios is what was happening.
I've just bought a harpsichord. Once it has been tuned and a couple of other issues sorted out, I shall definitely try these chords/arpeggio patterns. Thanks.
i do not play the piano (I took lessons for a while, but i"m all thumbs) but your tutorials are so very good at helping me to better understand Chopin, Liszt, Debussy and others. I've long known their music as beautiful but had no technical understanding of it. Your demonstrations have really helped me to better enjoy these awesome composers. Thank you so much!!
Hello look so easy to look but it’s hard for me because I didn’t know how to play piano but now I will try your technique because it sounds good and thank you very much for uploading your piano video tutorial I really like it. God bless you and take care always.
After 40 years on the drums I decided to start learning piano, and your video popped up. I only know about arpeggios bc my fav band (Rush) uses them a lot. I'm going to practice this, definately my speed (for now). Weird to be a beginner again, but this time I'm approaching it with a few decades of experience and hopefully my fingers will catch up to my internal clock a bit faster this time. Thanks for the lesson! Edit: While I always use a metronome, I'm deliberately not using a sustain pedal right now, so I can't cheat and I give each note it's full value. Maybe in a month I'll pick one up. 🤠
your so pretty! thank you for making videos I been learning a lot from them. i gave up piano and now back into it, hopefully i get it this time. i was scatter all over the place. i didn't know where start. but you make it a lot easier. please keep making videos. appreciate you!
Thank you, this is just what I needed! Have played guitar and bass for years, just sorta noodled on the piano/organ though. Trying to advance my skills on it as they are rudimentary as of now
Thanks for teaching it clearly and slow with visual. I hope you will do it again in other videos to be able to understand better and follow your teaching.🤝🥰
Wow, this tutorial is an absolute gem for piano beginners like me! 🎹 The step-by-step breakdown of arpeggio patterns is incredibly helpful, and I love how you make it accessible for all skill levels. The way you explain the mechanics behind each technique makes learning so much easier. The variety of arpeggio styles covered, from the ascending broken chords to the rolled chord arpeggios, is fantastic. It's like a journey through different dimensions of piano beauty! 🌟 And the Alberti bass pattern adds that extra touch of sophistication. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise and making the learning process enjoyable. Your passion for piano shines through, and it's contagious! 🎶 Can't wait to incorporate these arpeggio patterns into my playing and take my skills to the next level. Grateful for this golden ticket to piano bliss! 🙏✨
Beautiful ❤️🔥🥰❤️🔥 will work at it my dear... Just keep naming EACH chord or keynote by letters 🔤🔠 this is helpful and when the keynotes and chords LIGHT 🕯️ UP when playing!! Blessings!
This is a good video to accompany your other arpeggio video. I think I most liked the one that’s hard to pronounce. And the vi-IV-I-V progression is one of my favorite chord progressions that I’ve learned so far!
I could see that you are a great instructor, I would love to you to explain to someone like myself that is blind, the notes, in each cord of each different arpeggio. You only explain one of them, but not the other ones.
My son and I had fun playing all of them. That was a blast!
Alberti Arpeggio is amazing!! Thanks for sharing.
I think this is the beginning of a great friendship. I'm looking forward to learning piano from your videos.
