You should react to I´m a changing, i think that was the best duet by mercedes and kurt on glee.
I always found it amusingly ironic in this duet that Lea/Rachel sang Maureen's part of the Duet, and the OBC Maureen was Indina Menzel, who played Rachel's mom in Glee. And fwiw it worth I've always loved the way Lea and Amber's voices blend.

Which I find incredibly amusing and fitting, considering the two actresses' characters' relationship in the show. lol
Mercedes and Rachel have the strongest voices in Glee club, and this is definitely one of my favorite songs they’ve ever performed!! I appreciate both of their voices, they’re sooo different and these two ladies are super talented!!😊💖👏🏻👏🏻

i believe mercedes killed this performance! her runs/riffs and adlibs were such a great addition to the song but her voice in general is just heavenly. both of them killed it tho!!
I like how they start out hating each other at the beginning and are loving each other at the end.

You really need to do Amber's "I'll stand by you" from season 5 episode 3. Probably her most emotional performance. She puts her soul into it.
Everyone was emotional that episode. I literally cry when I watch that episode. I miss Cory😢

Mercedes and Santana had the best voice combinations, no doubt about it but my God Mercedes and Rachel together was soooooooooo freaking good. It really annoyed me that the only times they had duets was when they were doing those ridiculous battles.

I wish they had been able to sing the song in the original form (aka two lesbians arguing). By doing a sanitized version which mostly is Maureen's part from the original script it doesn't allow the contrast in the styles to really shine. It's really deliberate in the original, showing the girlishness of Maureen compared to the maturity of Joanne.

Lea's voice is my absolute favorite, she always outshines everyone else 💕👌
I genuinely do prefer Lea‘s voice but I think they were evenly matched in terms of skill every time they competed or performed against each other. although the second time they did defying gravity it was underwhelming all around. my favorite character is Mike Chang and Sam Evans. unproblematic kings except for the whole body issues thing with Sam.
For me Rachel wins. Lea's voice is so perfect for this song

Mercedes ate! Lea just doesn't have the diversity, she only sings one way, while Amber sings amazing in multiple styles and genre's.

I've always preffered Rchel's voice but both of them are outstanding. If Rachel is Celine then Mercedes is Whitney and Santana is Mariah.

@@tioqq8492 everyone in the glee club knew she had one of the best voices so she can't be considered underrated. An underrated voice would be of someone no one talks about but are really good. In the early seasons it would be someone like Puck, or some think Quinn's voice is underrated
