Does the trade make profit from the delta too? Just trying to learn this stuff.
Would the XSP and spx be the same? Or is there a benefit from using the spy?
Not sure there is much volume on XSP. SPX is the bigger brother of SPY, so whether you use SPX or SPY depends on your portfolio size. We make money from time value (theta). Delta is a great risk indicator we watch very carefully.
So you need to trade 4 contracts minimum to implement the profit taking strategy? Change spread width so your total risk equals your 5% of account size?
Yes, ideally 4 or more contracts. You could do less and simplify the strategy too.
So this is using technicals in order to trade bull put spreads and call credit spreads? And, using technicals to close the positions?
For closing, we use pre-defined rules, so that we can set up the exit at the same time we open the trade. That means no screentime required.
Hi Felix. Awesome content, love to follow you. One question though: trading only the S&P at 5% a trade, how can I have 100% of my available capital employed?
We set up ~15 S&P trades with different prices and expirations. So we usually use 75% of our capital. The other 25% is used for new opportunities and to allow us to make adjustments.
Fifteen spx trades? Simultaneously?
If so, isn't this more or less always the same trade even with different prices and expiration dates, also how's that possible while respecting the 75% probability rule?
So if one goes against you, basically all go against you? At a 25% stop loss that's pretty hefty!

There is no benefit in owning the underlying stock. It's a common enough myth though, that you need to. :-)

Join the plan and you can ask him all sorts of questions. I would recommend not focusing to much on money but more on a win/loss I mean felix is great with one of his strategies you can make money either way she goes up or down. Focus on learning the strategy and mastering it. After that, the money will just flow and you will find enjoyment in looking for setups. After that, the enjoyment will be paying your taxes and taking your dog joe outside and let him sniff whatever he wants. Like trees, fire hydrants, stop signs... some kids lol

Is it just me or the math doesn’t add up? If with a $1500 trade you are making 3% each time, it’s $45. If the trade goes against, the stop loss is at -25% or a loss of $375.
You need over 8 good trades to cover 1 bad one, yet the probability of making a profit is only around 80%, meaning 1 in 5 trades will go against you or tread water…
What am I missing?
And now worst case, multiply that loss times 15....

I went through the coaching program. It’s a decent program, but the screenshots showing people making 10% or more a week are deceptive. Only way to get that is trading individual stocks instead of SPX or not having both calls and puts at the same time as the rules suggest. My coach in the program said that he averages 3% return per month.
