He is. BUT: If you're going to do a Rush tribute, and you have a good Geddy (almost as hard to find as a good Neil), great drummers will come out of the woodwork. What rock drummer with chops to burn DOESN'T want to do Rush? He can overplay all night - but no problem, that's the way the songs are supposed to go, and they'll love him for it.
@@NaturalScienceRushTribute Well.. I'm in the great state of Tennessee.. little way outta Nashville. Been a fan of... since I was a kid! And you guys Are bringing real.. and true.. and just an awesome job!! Yes..we would love to see y'all?!
I was a teenager who grew up in the 70's and Rush and Pink Floyd were my weapons of choice to try and alienate my parents! Didn't work. My dad became a bigger Pink Floyd fan then I was. Point is, when you try to emulate a band as iconic and intense as Rush you run the risk of being compared to the original. From a guy who had all their albums, went to several of their concerts, could recite most of their lyrics from memory and wore their tee shirts almost daily this performance was, in my humble opinion, pretty effing good! I've got to hand it to you guys, that was really well done and Subdivisions isn't an easy Rush song to play anywhere near the original but yet, you guys pulled it off! I could really hear the spirit of Rush while you played. Thanks for taking me back to a time when life was way simpler then it is now. I miss those days even though life was far from perfect it was just way more fun!
Thanks Walter. Floyd and Rush. Somehow a great pairing even though the energy levels are so different. We are actually opening for a Floyd band called Which Ones Pink Feb 9th at the Grove of Anaheim. 1700 capacity and looks half sold already. They draw a big crowd and we’re happy to open for them. Thanks for the kind words. I’m the drummer and started playing with this band 9 months ago. Great guys. The guitarist Zephry is 26. So cool to mix generations over the love of Rush.
@@NaturalScienceRushTribute Very cool. You should look up a young man on RUclips. His channel is Avery Drummer. He started playing the skins when he was about 3 I think. He plays a lot of Rush stuff and has mostly learned to play by ear. Kids a prodigy. You should check him out. He's older now but I've been watching his videos for years. He actually played the intro of "hot for teacher" live on stage with Brad Paisley when he was like 6.
Love the gigs at the Garden Amp. Rush is difficult and they sound great. Saw shine on pink floyd there last week and they rocked. Also saw Skynyrd Rising and Bad Moon Rising last week and they kicked ass also. Great shows, the Garden Amp in Garden Grove Cal Rocks😊
Brilliant!!!
That drummer is bloody good ! I mean it's all good, but if you're gonna do rush, the drummer has to be amazing, and he is :)
He is.

Hey sorry if the guitar is too loud - didn't get the house mix on this one!
Viewers will forgive you for thinking we want to hear less Lerxst. 😂 Band sounds amazing guys!
This sounds fantastic!
I can't believe this is a cover insane
Mix was decent...your crowd was lame!
No apologies needed. Great sound and tone from that axe! The crowd looks like the show was at 7am on a Monday, though.
Damn...you guys nailed it. Even the voice is perfect!

so great
Woooooow!
I noticed the "Queen" drumskin on the kit behind your drummer's kit. Were "Simply Queen" on the same bill?
We opened for Queen Nation. They are super on point!
Just curious what synthesizers are you using?
The suburbs?
not bad... not bad at all
Excellent. Guitar is a little too loud.
Guitar is way too loud
😂😂
Okay.. don't do that brain shift stuff again... yeah ❤ okay?
Explain “brain shift”…I have a hunch but…
@@NaturalScienceRushTribute only meant when you Are hearing.. just what you remember... knowing.. it's not who you think... Just saying.. excellent!
You should play the whole Power Windows ...the very best Rush album.
It’s a great one. Right now we only play Marathon. But definitely want to play a few more from that amazing album!
