@prairielab I just got my copy and you are so right. And they are all very musically talented. I hate the bad press that they got. It was so not fair

I saw them twice in August of 1977, but I was basically in a daze. Not because of what I DID see, but WHO I DIDN'T-Pat!!! My all-time favorite had left the group 3 months before and 3 months before THAT, I missed seeing them in Cleveland-WITH Pat. So I just stared at the stage through both concerts thinking "Where's my Paddy, where's my Paddy??!!" 36 years later and I STILL haven't seen him!!!

lol re the comments about Pat Mcglynn - my main memory of him is a fight in the primary school playground with his brother Danny where I managed to hit him first then it got broken up, saving me from a beating. cause he was way harder than me...I remember Pat as a wee guy that used to hang around the playground - 50 years ago

Pat aimed a kick at me in a skirmish in Niddrie once. Must be a brothers thing. No hard feelings though. I always kind of liked him.

That was the year my sis and I met Leslie at a disco in our city. I asked for his autograph and smacked my lips on his and wouldn't stop. But Leslie's boyfriend tapped me on the shoulder and said -that's enough. I have photos of him and me from the newspaper. But after meeting him and seeing his boyfriend he lost his appeal to me. Thanks for uploading!!

MissWitchiepoo that is so cool that you got to meet les and have a picture with him! is there a way that you can up load it and send it ?

I believe les became a homosexual because he was raped. Maybe he felt guilty that he liked it. But he really wasn't one because that lifestyle left him a mess. It's was the sinful natural that he accepted it. Sodimites are made and not born that way.

  • @waterbird91

Pat Mc Glynn wrote this song, but he didn't get credit for it. And that's not right .

    • @AndyMangele

Hardly - since the orinal version by The String Driven Thing came out in 1973 when Pat was 15 years old!

Yeah. Interesting, huh? I think all girls scream at the Rollers. But we western women don't go nuts over J-pop stars because they aren't real men.
