It was the girlfriends like both Anita and Marianne Faithfull that were the power behind the Stones. Looking forward to seeing this.

Rubbish. It was the Stones who were the power behind the stones, their imagination and their artistry. No one else's
In fact if we were to continue this silly argument we could say that , for example, Dave Hassinger (producer of Aftermath) had much more impact and influence on the band. That doesn't sell celebrity magazines though

Their influence was subtle but definitely there. Yes, beyond doubt their influence on the Stones' fashion sense, but the two women also expanded their bohemian cosmopolitan outlook, in the same way Jane Asher and Pattie Boyd expanded the cultural palette of the Beatles.

Such a icon! I love the fact Anita was who she was, she never apologized for that! Too much bs focuses on her personal issues, and not the fact she was not only one of the most incredible muses of the last century ,but such a phenomenal human being who lived on another dimensional plane! Anita started spiritual awareness before it was defined . Its never stated first and foremost that she was highly intelligent, she spoke nore languages? How many more than any member of the Rolling Stones, and had not only book knowledge but knowledge in SO many areas. She was a style icon and a actual human being! She gave birth to three children, she survived not one but 2 relationships with the two most hatdcore and creative men of ger time. Women leave relationships for other men each day, it isnt posted in the news! I have mad respect for her personally, i have lost and buried a child as well, i was a "junkie" for years, also have had relationships with musicians, but that shapes a persons character how?? It doesn't, unfortunately all her personal choice of the way she was chose to live her life was thrown on every newspaper. Embrace the definition of the word muse! I can not wait to experience this documentary and find the treasures shes left behind for all of us! She was so far ahead if her time and still is!

I believe it was one of the engineers from one or more of the Stones’ albums who said “Anita IS the Stones” so, even though she didn’t write the songs she must have had a substantial influence on the band and the songs.
