REST IN PEACE TO ANITA PALLENBERG🙏AND ROBERT FRASER 🙏🌻🌻🕊🕊🦋🦋🌹🌹AMEN.GODBLESS THEM BOTH.🕊
It’s chilling to hear Marianne talk about the Redlands bust. It was the beginning of a dark period for her. She fought her way back, but it took years.
Actually, she seemed to enjoy telling the story.
@@lawsonj39
Perhaps, but the aftermath of that bust was hard on her at the time.
Marianne Faithfull and Anita Pallenberg were artists and exceptionally talented and bright in the creativity realm. Marianne Faithful's latest recordings are filled up with amazing poetry. Youth belonged to Marianne Faithfull. creativity is from the Heavens., Sadly and angrily the poisonous chemical substances and brought harm upon these creative musical artists . Don't look back and keep going forward was Anita's motto. rest in peace beautiful Anita Pallenberg in God's love.🙏
They were both beautiful. Just different. They drugs really destroyed their beauty though.
No one gave a shit about them outside of their perceived beauty. And- thats still the only thing anyone finds important or interesting about them, as evidenced by this comment and thousands of others. Maybe that had a negative effect?
Well observed, Woodbell67; that is indeed Dennis Hopper, and also that is me at the far end of the sofa on the right. I was Robert Fraser's gallery assistant for several years, and his initial liaison with the developing psychedelic scene, as I was living in the same communal apartment as Syd Barrett as he was just getting going with Pink Floyd and acid...Marianne and Anita were friends, and in the case of the latter, briefly lovers...
I love stories told by people like Marriane Faithful,Anita Pallenberg.+their male pal Robert Fraser.i was only a toddler then but as i aged a was fasinated by stories of the lifestyles of these people. my mother who was 5 years younger then them told me stories about parties they were at and id be fasinated by the stories wishing i was 15years old then lucky mom.times then before the manson murders were great and the lifestyle id say was cool.rest in peace Anita and to others mentioned who have passed on 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🕊🌻🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🕊🦋💖🙏🕊🦋🌹🕊AMEN GODBLESS THEM 🙏🕊🌹
What I dislike is Faithfull's delight in being a "bad girl", and really "cool". Pallenberg was just naturally that way, I think, but Faithfull did it to be what she thought a rock chick shd be.
@mulhane89
nah =its because she is almost 70 years old now=and apparently she hasnt got facelifts andstuff like many of them do
None of these people. None of them were any "day at the beach." Believe me. They all could be "catty." They all could be very difficult. They all could be incredibly self centered. If you weren't in the "inner circle" they could be your friend one day and drop you like a bad habit the next day. Whether you're talking about the Warhol "clique" in New York or the Frasers, Pallenbergs, Jaggers, Lennons I'm not sure you'd want any of them as a bunk mate at summer camp. Interesting. Yes.
Not my type
Not being in the world of famous, I assure you the same happens among the “normals” too. It’s actually hard to find unconditional friendships that are also fun to explore the life with. Not that they dont exist, but finding them it’s universally hard.
*@kentucy9999* Friendship is often overrated anyway ......Most of us have good acquaintances .......These people might have been "selfcentered" but had the party of their lives.....Lots of them are still alive ,and had very fulfilled lives. None of them wouldn't even want to be "bunk mates" anyway.......nor would I .....They have certain loyalties though , and would stick up for each other.
What else is new...."the other half" have their own way of functioning . Not any better or worse than yer regular hooligan ,booze "mates" .
@@PAULLONDEN My dad and brothers are my best friends. ✌️💜
@@battybatshytcrazy4365 That's how it should be in a family setting ofcourse. Count yourself lucky . Many families are fragmented , and loathe the obligatory christmas family get togethers.
i like how she has a grin at 4:02 after she says awful awful
She had very few active brain cells left.
Wonderful. Moving. Fraser and his friends had such a profound influence on me and my way of thinking. Thank you, Robert, and Brian, Anita, Marianne, Donald, and the rest. "The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom." :)
Stroll on 'Camilla'! Are you dead or wise yet? Or neither...Pal?
Tallie Carre Marianne faithful as tears go by
Camilla S It's strange how so many can reach middle-age and still remain as precociously immature now as they were then . . . . as some cleverclogs once observed, nothing matters very much and very few things matter at all. Genuine insight means an awareness of one's own essential insignificance. Tra-la 😝
Shelley Lyme very well said!!!
Shelley Lyme there lucky 🍀 considering All the
Drugs And Sex !
" Awful .Awful." she said accompanied by a ludicrous smile.
If anyone's interested there's a good Robert Fraser biography - 'Groovy Bob' by Harriet Wyner. Stones fans will like it but Fraser's a really interesting character to read about, one of the pioneers who get fuck all but pave the way for the rest.
***** Oops! Slip of the finger.
I read some about him ,like he was an officer in the army, and had to go before his time, aids was a killer back then. But as a groovy guy he was in first line ,nobody takes that away from him, thank you for your input !!!
i mean he's the center of attention to those who knew him and vitally important but to us who don't we only feel the trickle down effect of his influence. he wasn't so much an artist as he was a patron of arts. we know leonardo da vinci and mozart but their patrons are likely only known by those in that particular sect of the art world
@@mox19380 His influence on mainstream culture is inestimable. That guy was so ahead of his time.
@@antonhaq3503 you're not wrong. i'm just saying patrons influence on creatives is generally a thankless job. but his influence on that era of music and art is as you said inestimable.
Doesn't get the credit he deserves for bringing the right people together to create a "the scene" and being aware that times were changing !!!.....
Holy crap, it's not just looks - her pacing & mannerisms are like a woman doing a Keef impersonation: she must know the man very, very well. Any good interviews with her?
CusterFlux yeah they were one in the same
Hmm. Except he got his swag from HER. She inspired them & was their “ muse” so to say. They copied a LOT of her style & mannerism
@@gloriahufnagel5556 they didn't call anita the sixth stone for nothing.
@@TheMysteryMachine damn right.. and she never wrote a book... wish she did but ... nope ..
@@gloriahufnagel5556 Keith copied from BRIAN
Pretty sure it’s been documented that most of the “artists” mentioned in this video were troubled in extreme, sad ways. All of them! McCartney is the only one mentioned who married and had a happy family.
Agree british or europeans in general are makeavelik and manipulative
@mulhane89 Yes, but even when Anita was young, I found her to be hard looking. Good looking, but one tough chick.
I get that !!!
I like that look, full of character, zest, earnestness as opposed to sickening boring artificial beauties.
She was a bad human being why people like her i don't fucking now , stop worshiping that thing
Great doc - but it ends rather abruptly. Is it part of a longer programme?
Eww. Just Anita and Marianne's breathing is enough to put you off inhaling anything.
anita was slighty prettier then mariane , but i think marianne today is better looking
I bet they had some fun!!!!!!!!
Some? I bet that they had lot´s of fun:-)!
Yeah, as Keef mentioned 'the best thing Cammell did after Performance, was blowing his brains out..' No one tells it quite like Keith...Eh, Boy?
Can anybody ID the name of this documentary?
tomou ácido e cherou heroína demais com Keith e mick
Who is the lady who describes the needle marks and the limo collecting him from jail ?
A feckless c**t.
*@Tim San* Don't know her name , 3:35👈🏻 most likely Fraser's secretary , or employee from his gallery.
PaulLonden thought Frasers mum if you were paying attention
1:56 Long shot, but is that Dennis Hopper in lower left ?
Marianne,what a woman...
Robert Fraser
Who is the woman who speaks of 'picking Robert up @ Srubs'...was this a full length documentary?...thanks for any information...b
Great. Marianne is beautiful like Helen Mirren.
@kentucy9999 Pre-Madonna they ruled now the Gay scene in the media is too right, too racist and too commercial/recycled.
good ol' strawberry bob
@OzTerri yeah-- me mum's 78....never smoked or drank but weighed 125 till she was about 65, then her butt expanded.....the body xeroxes itself every 8 years or so, gets fatter each time!! Except for keith, he weighs less now than ever!
cockksuker blues was Rob prroductiion
@laukemp1 Sorry, that was for laukemp1
marianne was more beautiful than anita, who was astonishing too.
Can't agree, but they are both beautiful
Anita was thee… it girl , forget Edie or Patti Boyd , Anita had that cool above and beyond all of them effortlessly
@@hollygolightly7475 oh yeah, and was in several very cool films!
The gays were always a yr ahead of everybody else. We moved from Maine to NW Connecticut when I was 12. I went to a high school at 14 which was a reg hs. This area was 2 hrs from NY City. There were a number of artist "enclaves" nearby is this rural setting and a number of gay men amongst them. Anyway I somehow got involved in this "set" though I was a jock. This was back in 1969. We did acid. mescaline, mushrooms. The gays were the 1st to do this stuff. They were more interesting than the drab.
@laukemp1 nasty post, anita pallenberg is human just like everyone else
YOU JUST HAVE TO DIG KEITH , - BUT WITH THE MONEY THEY HAD THEY COULD DO THINGS LIKE THAT , BUT STILL IT IS FUNNY , KEITH FOR KING .?
keith is a bully
Keith is Lucky to be Alive ! Also if he wasn’t Rich & Famous to begin with - he wouldn’t have
The women he had !!! Same as Mick

bull freaking shit, Criminal, you've been reading too many comic books, he's mad for Pat. And Pallenberg was dead hot when she was younger, still is somewhat, but you can't stop the clock, and H only makes it run faster.
@blackyfloyd What is your sort of a mark in the real world?
Anita looks like Pauline Fowler.
