I have two Xtremes I bought site unseen. Was not disappointed. Not mentioned is the fact that the balance of these rods are spot on. The 7'-0" casting with the new 2020 Shimano Metanium (under 7 oz. balances with a finger touching the reel. Same with the 6'-10" spinning. With the super light Shimano Vanquish or Daiwa Exist the point of balance is at the spool. Workmanship is excellent and I love the new sticky handle. Great job St. Croix. Made in the USA too!

i really wish that handle bump was not there.it was not designed for a guy that palms his reel..everyone i fish with agrees.it should be sold with 2 different handles perhaps?
