I have travelled a lot on my motorcycles for the past 20 years. loved the podcast. A lot of us who have so much mileage under us are not on social media. My only envy of Nitin is his friends group who are so excited to ride out and join him. Super lucky dude to have such enthusiastic friends.
Wonderful interview, so insightful... when such experienced riders speak, they bring in so clarity for the lesser experienced.. busting so many myths & notions. I am Fortunate to be a part of a pan India Bonneville Group' and recently i had the honour of meeting and dining with this legend at our annual biking meet at Ratnagiri. i actually took pictures of his Odometer and shared it with my friends in Bombay, the real moment happened the next day, he was packing up to go back to Pune whipe i had this innocent little desire to do a short ride on his Bonneville, he was kind enough and we rode a small distance, with him generously letting me ride his Bonnie and he rode my Speed 400.. such was the magic.. thst my long cherished desire of getting an Air cooled Bonneville was rekindled.. another evening ride on another friends T100.. and in less than 4 days of being back in Bombay, i messaged him, Nitin Bhai, thank you My Air cooled Bonneville has come home.
Nitin is such a chill and interesting chap. I had met him a few times when I was spending a lot of time in Pune during Covid 2020. We rode to Goa too with the Pune Triumph folks when I had a Tiger 800. Speaking of superbikes Sam I don’t know if you remember that gorgeous BMW F650 Funduro that would be outside Fergie in the late 90s. I still remember your RX 100 back then and I had the KB100. Nice to see this collaborative podcast Sam.
