Great shave, Paul. I use the Supply Single Edge razor as my daily shaver. It consistently provides smooth, close, comfortable shaves. I prefer the classic 2 plate Paul used as a daily shaver. My experience with plate 3 was a little too aggressive to use every day and plate 1 was too mild for me. I would encourage DE shavers to give the best injector razor ever made a test run. Had a great two-week visit from sis and niece from Idaho, doing two of the Disney Parks and celebrating my Birthday while here. The visit is soon over as their flight back home is tomorrow evening. (today by now as I am still up at 3:51 a.m.) I am sooooooooooooooo going to miss them when they go back.
I have the Supply in the matte finish,really enjoy mine.I prefer the Schick Injector blades but the ones it comes with would be good for everyday shaving.I also own the Yaqi Mokka badger and its nice.Thanks for the video.

The return of the goat! Hurrah! I've kept a goatee (circle beard, doorknocker or van dyck) since last Boxing Day. I was always nicking the cleft in my chin and never liked shaving under my nose, so had a mustache for years. Good luck! Maybe Mrs. H. will let you keep it this time. LOL

Kevin, Which razor are you referring to, the current production one? Delrin is notoriously difficult to machine. It is virtually the same as what lp records are made from, a very durable and non reactive material.
Great shave Paul nice to see someone using the supply single edge been thinking about giving it a try might just get one now. Mrs H did a wonderful job with the flowers.
Great shave, Paul. I love my Supply SE razor. I get BBS shaves with no irritation. I , too, have the mirror finish and have no problems with grip. The Supply stands on the shelf right next to my Daddy's Schick Model E Injector razor (1935 -1945). I get a better shave with the mild plate, but will revisit the classic plate. Happy Halloween!!!! BOO.

Hiya Paul, I’ve always shaved in the bath, I’ve found the heat and steam from the water allows me to have an enjoyable shave and the soap or crepes don’t dry up on my face, I had a stand up shave the other day as I was in a rush and just didn’t enjoy it, any one else find this, we’re all different ! I am not keen shaving in the bath, leaves all the bits clinging to me...lol.....but a hot shower shave is great.

Amongst all SE tools I used, the V2 is the best. I've traded my OneBlade + ATTGem, but kept the V2. Howevr still wrkg the question, where's the advantage of SE vs DE. Resultwise they're even, DE offers mny more choices. Cheers.

Happy All Hallows Eve Paul! Splendid Autumnal color palette in the selection of the flowers...Mrs. H is an artist; truly stunning. I am happy you offered an opinion on the Supply Single Edge Razor. An honest review is always welcome and very helpful. I am impressed on the close shave it provided and your enjoyment was noticeable. Personally, I had to give up on the Nivea Original aftershave lotion...the fumes off it gave coughing fits. A shame really, but I found other products that I tolerate much better...happily. The vintage blades continue to impress me. The Personna 74 is the King of the Hill with 22 (4 pass) shaves. I have now changed to the 1968 Personna Super Stainless blade and this blade is surgical sharp yet smooth. Not as smooth as the aforementioned P74, but sharper. I will see how the longevity goes. I doubt it will match the P74, but who knows. Actually, the P74 has not died yet. How many passes or shaves are left is anyone's guess. I think it is near the end yet it could surprise me. Pick up pass for me is the cleaning up of straggling whiskers. Your explanation was concise and cogent. Thank you for sharing. Take care.

I may even invest in one.

GFT Spanish Leather is one of my favorites, wish it came in a tub but tubes are okay, also have the matching a/s splash and cologne, beautiful combo. Better let the Mrs answer the door when trick or treaters come, otherwise you'll gain weight from eating all the left over candy and treats account scaring all the kids away...😉 Nicely done video and comments again. That was a damn good shave, young Paul. Didn't leave a bit of "shadow," which a more mediocre shave would normally do seeing as you have black hair. Great little razor and blades. I have one myself, recommended. Try the three spot (aggressive) plate-very good.
Love my The Supply Co Single Edge and did a review of it also recently. Gives a great shave as we can see yours is.

I have a permanent scar where I took out a piece of my chin going cross-grain like that. Tried a couple more times but could never find the right angle and always managed to cut myself. I also somehow managed to drag the edge on the blade stop (something they tell you not to do in their videos, but with a keyed system I'm not sure how I managed to screw that up). Questionable on their "six months worth of shaves" for one pack of blades.
Supply was good with their "automated" customer service to let me keep their starter kit and reimburse me $79 rather than sending everything back (where I'm thinking they'll just toss it). Might try again with different blades.

Just never seen you use shave foam from a can Gillette ect is it easy to build up lather shave soap bowl are they expensive iechyd da
I have used Gillette Foam, Arko cream, and Barbasol, they work well enough, but I prefer creating the lather. Each soap can be different when lathering, some like little water others like a lot, so you have to play about to see what works best for you really. But in general they are easy to lather up in a bowl Darren.
Does anyone know whether you can travel with one of these in your carry on baggage in the USA, or will homeland security pitch a fit? I can't take de blades in a carry on. I know they won't permit that. I guess I could keep the old Mach 3 for this purpose, but I would really prefer not to. Any suggestions?

i have numerous injector razor, so i splashed out on the supply , and it is next to useless on my beard type. its sad because it's the best looking razor i own.
Don't forget, you don't only have the one medium setting, you can also buy the three dot (aggressive) baseplate. Also a (milder) one dot baseplate.
Can't just get one to much expence for me at the moment

Full beards... as y know I live in Singapore, My collection of straights sleep on the shelf, I stopped to use 'em. Howevr, once a month I go to a local barber near my place, abt 100m walk n let him shave with one my razors. He, tamilindian, darker than the night n 'fully' bearded, shaves me in the shadow, but outside n feels honored to shave with highend european hardware. He shaves me for free, likely hoping one day I shall give him one razor, which I will. I bring 3 beers, 1 for me, 2 for him, its hot... Whatevr, my own DE shave is cleaner, so for me DE onlky... Hi Paul. The Mokka should have the name Bialetti. Mokka is a turkish version of making coffee, which is different to the italien. The coffee maker which you showed is a bialetti from italy and that is what the design is made of. I think the Moka name sounds better. Still wrong ;-)
I have the 26mm badger. It is a great brush and i love the handle!
The Razor would be nothing for me, not interested. DE rules ;-)
