its same in my country about MOT.... still bild my projekt for traveling, already 5 years, i am converting from rhd to lhd .... lifts ... snorkels ... vinch.....( mitsubishi delica L400 4x4 .......) i hope i will finish.... !!!! good luck to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow the mot over in Switzerland seem far more intense than us in the U.K. we can put anything on the vehicle and it doesn’t effect the mot test, providing it’s safe to drive! tyres brakes suspension lights etc it should pass the mot for another year! I do feel for you guys, it must be a very worrying time every time the mot is coming up for renewal, I’m pleased it’s now past anyway 😊
Here in the states it depends on each state law that determines whether or not your car needs to be inspected. Many states do not require an inspection. Stressful as it is, here many cars should not be on the road.
It’s interesting how different country’s have different laws as to what and how you can modify your car. I’m in Victoria, Australia and there is no such thing as an annual MOT or Roadworthy, as we call it, just when you register a car, or pulled up by the police for a defect. Thanks for sharing!

Sounds like the hoops I had to jump through when I lived in New Zealand when modifying my Landy. Now back in the UK things are easier.
Fun to know how different it is in each country

Please it’s also all good and that we have accessories added so less worries. Sometimes it seems they don’t check the important parts.

I remember watching pimp my ride and some cars were in a terrible (dangerous) state 🫣. Will see next year when we overland the US how cars are ;)

Also find it interesting to know how it goes and how different it can be. This is why we love to read you :)
