  • My battery was dying after few hours of use. Time for a replacement. The back delaminated by itself in my care due to heat a while ago. You can use a hairdryer to soften it and get the back off. Check the links below, there will also be tool sets listed. The battery is hard to get out, better discharge it first. The sticky type is only on the outer sides. Better not ply in the center since there is no metal (not sure if it could damage the display. Have fun and good luck with your repairs. My total cost was 10€

    How did the battery get to this state? I have two older Samsungs and they are ok (A5 and S6). Hopefully I won't have to do this.

      It was still usable but wouldn't last a day. Since the back was off anyways I took the opportunity

    What you pulled out of the USB port, is called a "Belly button lint (fluff)"...

      Satisfying removing it 😁 Unbelievable how much of a difference removing that can make in charging speed. It's also keeping in the moist if your device is still waterproof.
