    Hi,after watching most of your videos I have to sincerely thank you for all the great information that is available on your channel. With that being said I wanted ask about the dimensions of the table that your roaster is on…I’m fairly close to place my order with Yoshan for a 2 kilo roaster machine and begin my journey! Thanks again!.

      I appreciate the message. Thank you, Jose! I can check the dimensions tomorrow when I’m near the roaster. I’m flattered you’re thinking of ordering the roaster, but hit me up before you order. I can definitely get you a discount, extended warranty and a free coffee grinder probably.

    Hey Rob, thanks for posting the videos and sharing such helpful information and even predicting what topics and info would be helpful. Can you tell me which 2KG Roaster you are using. It looks like the Electric/Gas roaster vs the Hot Air roaster. Did you evaluate the differences between the two? and why did you pick that particular roaster over the other model? I'm having a hard time determining the difference and benefits between those two options.
    Also, I am getting pretty close to pulling the trigger on the Yoshan,.. Can I reach out to you about pricing and shipping?

    I've watched a few of your posts and have enjoyed them. Have you tried a smaller batch size. Seems like your initial ROR might be limiting what you can do.

    • @ocdcoffeeclub4796
      @ocdcoffeeclub4796  Год назад

      I've worked with a variety of batch sizes. I'm not sure if I'd updated my bean probe at the point of making this video, but my ROR is good regardless of my batch size. Do I need to make adjustments to my profile if I change batch sizes? Sure. But overall, this Yoshan 2kg can easily roaster 2# up to 4.6# batches with easy. 4.6# is over 100% capacity. I usually roaster 3.6# which is roughly 85% capacity. That yields me 3+ pounds off roasted coffee.

    Kills me. Buy American? Spend 10x’s the amount. Ridiculous. Make shit affordable. These prices are a down payment for a house and that’s just to get started. Forget about a much larger roaster.

      You also have to remember, these are investments in building a business. People are willing to invest money. But I agree, when starting out, keeping costs low is always best.

    Do you have any tips/tricks on how to get to the get to the front bearing? I remove all the bolts on the front little plate, but nothing comes off.

    • @ocdcoffeeclub4796
      @ocdcoffeeclub4796  2 года назад

      I'll be completely honest, I've never taken off the front plate to grease the drum bearing or even make a drum adjustment. That said, I will need to do that soon and will most likely make a video about it. BTW, did you get the Yoshan maintenance manual? I'm pretty sure the process is in there.
