Just received my 2kg roaster, its still in the crate waiting for the shed to be finished so l can unpack the roaster. Your videos have bean very informative and l have learned a lot about using a 2kg roaster. Thanks heaps.
I got it from Yoshan. If you email me, I can connect you to the sales rep I worked with and she can get you a discount on your roaster and a few other perks. Rob@ocdcoffeeclub.com
What is your temperature throughout the process? For example what is the temperature and for how long throughout the roast? Is it 420Degrees Fahrenheit for two minutes then 400°F for another two minutes and so on and so on until you finish?
Hi. I have just bought the same roaster as you and I am learning how to roast on it . What setting for your drum speed do you use and also how do you determine your air flow speed . The max RoR I seem to be able to get is around 15 . Would this be similar to what you get. Thanks
This is a general guideline to build from: Drum speed: 65 Airflow: 40 to start, up to 50 after FC Gas: Either 4 kPa at time of charge or 6 kPa after 1 minute soak. My max ROR after TP is roughly 30 F/min. Sometimes 25, up to 35. 15 F/min is was too low.
@@ocdcoffeeclub4796 That’s great thanks. Your videos where very informative and it was great to see someone on the same roaster as mine. There no other videos out there. Thanks again. John. Firehouse Cafe
I really appreciate you letting me know. I just want to understand fully your pronunciation. Is it: Yir-ga-chef Yir-ga-shef Yir-ga-chefay Yir-ga-shefay

Nicely made video. Question: how do you call your dry end?
Look for a change from green to yellow

You can disable the auto drop sensor in artisan and just click drop after you charge. If you right click you can change where the drop time is.
Yeah that’s what I normally do now. Thank you!
@@ocdcoffeeclub4796 great I love the videos. Hope the business is going strong
