School trips should be banned altogether. Too many kids are insolent, and tbh they neither know nor care what they are looking at. And the teachers or whoever is with them don't bother to stop them milling aimlessly about.
Yes people keep on making the same comment over and over again and it doesn't matter what you want they are doing what they feel they should do. So your demand is useless.
I can’t for the life of me understand why tourists are allowed such close and easy access to the King’s guards, either mounted or on foot. They stand there staring at these soldiers like they are zoo animals, laughing, touching the horses and sometimes the guards themselves. If this is allowed for a tourist attraction, it is absolutely wrong and should be abolished. Put a barrier up at least 20’ away and make them stand in back.
They should do separate, paid for, "meet & pet the horses" sessions twice a day. Also put half stable doors on the arches with a 'do not touch the horses sign'.
I get so angry when tourists put their hand under the horse's mouth, nobody would know what they could possibly have in their hands, I'm absolutely gobsmacked at the amount of stupidity and rudeness those people get away with right under the noses of the Police. Why hasn't that laughing hyena Karen been permanently banned? I seems like London is getting more unsafe every year.

They are only out there for I hour having been exercised groomed fed and watered before the duty , on return to stables they are rubbed down fed and watered again . Very well cared for animals .
I bet most of these guards want to shout 'get that camera out of my face i dont want to be on ur dam photos'.This guard looks hot and restless. What an awfull job.!!
I tend not to watch this so much now.I find it so annoying The only people who complain about the tourists behavior are the people watching on You Tube .Personally I think the tourists should be made to stay behind the bollards all the time. They should not be allowed near the horses or the guards. Instead of this they are encouraged by the police and the guards. Its become a free for all Even tour guides and brochures suggest petting of the horses is allowed I am concerned its an accident waiting to happen. The mounted guards don't have any control over their horses they depend on someone else to lead them about thus controlling the horses. Its equally not fair to expect a horse to stand still for an hour in a sentry box serving no purpose whatsoever. As soon as there is any sign of trouble the guard and horse are shepherded back to the stables again There are so many tourists and on the increase so something needs to be changed.
Just one point, the mounted guards have full control of their horses and are not reliant on others. Sometimes, like all horses, their horses decide to misbehave for whatever reason - spooked, had enough of the tourists, bored, too hot etc - then someone will come to help calm the horse down. The guards ride their horses in parades and have to be able to control them. They also spend a lot of time with the horses behind the scenes, grooming them, cleaning their stalls, feeding them etc which means they build a close bond with the horses.
@@shirleyanneyoung955 the mounted guards do not control their horses. Watch as soon as the horses play up someone rushes out to lead the horse from the ground. One horse took off down the pavement one day and a young woman in Army fatigues had to rush after it and lead it back .On another instance a horse chose to stand in the corner of the court yard and was rescued by a foot guard who attempted to lead the horse back to the sentry box.Hence my comment the mounted guards do not control their horses, they sit there and wait to be rescued. Watch and what I'm saying will be confirmed.
@@debbiehollis5711 I reiterate what I said. The guards who come out to “help” are the same guards who have been on horseback in the box. With all the tourists about it is safer for the horses to have another guard helping to control them asap as it isn’t possible to give the horses time and space to calm down on their own accord. It would be completely irresponsible- not to mention absolutely insane - to put someone on horseback who had no control over the horse then put them amongst hundreds/thousands of tourists. Common sense should tell you this just wouldn’t happen. As I said before, these guards ride their horses in parades, often involving the royal family, they must be able to have control over the horses. There’s no way on God’s earth that they’d put inept men on horseback anywhere near the rf.
@@debbiehollis5711 Bless your heart, yeah, these men on horseback are all novices. In fact they’re not even real. They’re actually the first AI soldiers, it saves the army a fortune, they don’t need fed, don’t need beds or toilets and they look so real, but that’s why they’re led to the boxes and led out again and never move from the spot unless someone guides the horses. When you see them dismounting that’s not actually them, it’s stunt doubles, time is frozen for a couple of minutes so the AIs can be whipped off the horses and real humans can quickly take their place. It’s amazing what technology can do nowadays.
What makes me laugh is the comments from tourists or peple on facebook from other countries sayi g how rude the guards are, no you are rude for not researching the kings guard then harassing the horses when you get there and getting upset when you are put in your place

She reslised the guards were not letting her touch the horses so dhe went thank good hope she stays away
They have repet for guard or this country
The people walk with the least resistance!
I wonder if any of these rude tourists see their selves on another videe. I admire these soldiers and their amazing patience. .
Where are the police? They usually tell the tourists. Don't go in the box.
Why are people looking back at the camera? How about looking at the horse and guard they came to see?
Where were the security guards to manage the tourists?! Again they let go a good occasion to do their job. And check out those idiots who couldn’t resist to pass by the sentry! My God, I surely hope someone will fall face first into the horse shit.
School trips should be banned altogether. Too many kids are insolent, and tbh they neither know nor care what they are looking at. And the teachers or whoever is with them don't bother to stop them milling aimlessly about.
WHEN ARE THEY FINALLY GOING TO STOP THE PUBLIC TOUCHING THE HORSES???
Never. If it bothers you perhaps you should find something else to watch.
@@camillagorham1673 is there any logic is your answer?
Yes people keep on making the same comment over and over again and it doesn't matter what you want they are doing what they feel they should do. So your demand is useless.
@@camillagorham1673 I only care about the horses if people want to touch animals go to a petting zoo
@@camillagorham1673are you one of those rude tourists? your answer suggests you are
If police not doing whot the hell they doing thier
If another person points out that it is a horse…I will have to stop watching🤬
I can’t for the life of me understand why tourists are allowed such close and easy access to the King’s guards, either mounted or on foot. They stand there staring at these soldiers like they are zoo animals, laughing, touching the horses and sometimes the guards themselves. If this is allowed for a tourist attraction, it is absolutely wrong and should be abolished. Put a barrier up at least 20’ away and make them stand in back.
Can only imagine how uncomfortable those helmets get when the sun is beating down on them
They should do separate, paid for, "meet & pet the horses" sessions twice a day. Also put half stable doors on the arches with a 'do not touch the horses sign'.
So while most people are complaining that the horses don’t have enough room, you want to make their space smaller?
If they want to pet a horse then go a petting farm , those horses are there to do a job , that of protecting the army headquarters .
Sarahholland, the horses are there to guard, not to entertain.
All those Guards must have the patience of saints. Mad respect to all of them for having to put up with idiot tourists day in an out while only trying to do there job
These tourist need a horse to react, come on houses where’s the biting and the kicking.😂😂
Did I miss the "unacceptable" bit..?? 🤔
If these videos were shown 50 years ago, the character of the tourists would be night and day...right down to attire.
Is it me, but the 4 legged guard gently pushing away people??
nice the lady in asked permission to pet the horse. The lady asked to take selfie. Was out of respect for the guard and his horse
Good your making the people get back since police aren't. 😊..funny why do take pictures of the back side if the horse
..lol
That other guard was smart backing into the box to avoid large group.
People talk about dumb animals. After watching some of these, I wonder who is the animal cause it certainly isn't the soldiers or the horses
Both guard and horses are extremely vulnerable in this situation. Surely, the horses must get very thirsty ?
They are only out there for I hour having been exercised groomed fed and watered before the duty , on return to stables they are rubbed down fed and watered again . Very well cared for animals .
@kathellison8084 The tourists are revolting!
I bet most of these guards want to shout 'get that camera out of my face i dont want to be on ur dam photos'.This guard looks hot and restless. What an awfull job.!!
I'm so fascinated with these videos of the kings guards. I have so many questions. One being....why do they slap their horses when they get off?
It's an indication to the horse that the guard is about to dismount , a change of weight
7:35 red haired girl.. didn't have her phone on selfie mode.. she had the screen to the sky.. 🤦🏻♀️😁
No gene for stupidity, dammit
You mean like standing next to bison for a selfie??😂😂 It is astonishing!!!!
Yet if we did that in any way disrespect them in their country, we would get arrested!!!!
Heel mooi knappe man
I tend not to watch this so much now.I find it so annoying
The only people who complain about the tourists behavior are the people watching on You Tube .Personally I think the tourists should be made to stay behind the bollards all the time. They should not be allowed near the horses or the guards. Instead of this they are encouraged by the police and the guards. Its become a free for all
Even tour guides and brochures suggest petting of the horses is allowed
I am concerned its an accident waiting to happen. The mounted guards don't have any control over their horses they depend on someone else to lead them about thus controlling the horses. Its equally not fair to expect a horse to stand still for an hour in a sentry box serving no purpose whatsoever. As soon as there is any sign of trouble the guard and horse are shepherded back to the stables again
There are so many tourists and on the increase so something needs to be changed.
@@shirleyanneyoung955 but they do apparently .Watch and learn Shirley.
I fail to comprehend guards having to watch out for tourists! Keep these idiots away, don't allow them this close! Its a hazard and safety issue
favourite guard x
Unfortunately this is our world we live in no one cares about respect
Is that Arnie backing up in the box to get away from the silly tourist😂😂😂😂
Every country I visited I will google all the countries customs and respect laws !
Please God, give them at least one braincell to share amongst themselves!
Good grief, let the man do his job!!!!!!
Still think one of the horses should take a bite out I of a phone.
If I was thier any one hurt them I go mad
those are such beautiful horses.
Im an American & I'M even thinking, OMG tourists?!?!?!
Why do these stupid tourist walk in the guard house when empty and of course security cope do nothing
What makes me laugh is the comments from tourists or peple on facebook from other countries sayi g how rude the guards are, no you are rude for not researching the kings guard then harassing the horses when you get there and getting upset when you are put in your place
Is anyone else starting to really dislike tourists???
Girl at 0:58 waiving at the Guard - It's a friendly gesture for us humans but it's not a good idea to show the palm of your hand towards a horse, you can see how the horse react right after that.
OMG...look at the lady at 6:23 posing. Who does she think she is?
My thoughts exactly!
Woman points out the horse like we would miss it if she didn’t.
