So amazing to see, thank you for all the videos. After watching many, I have to agree with most of the viewers who are commenting about preventing people for getting close to the guards and the horses. They are working, and this is not a show as someone said in the crowd (French woman saying it's a "spectacle"). It's a privilege to see and have access to the courtyard, not a right. I had to chance to visit and it would never have crossed my mind to get close to the working guards or touching their horses.
The guard should have shouted at them, and although they are serving soldiers, this is without doubt a tourist attraction it is open to tourist and has a souvenir shop! If they want security then Close the gates! Armed police are the deterrent kings guards are for show!
Some try touching the guards. Mostly, the women try a couple of different men, but they are jerks ....I don't understand why the ppl in charge can expect the guards and horses to be put in these situations
I am planning a trip next year. On the agenda is a visit to the guards and horses. Will I touch the horses? Yes, as an avid equestrian, I won't be able to resist. What I won't do, is touch the reins or the guards. What I will do,is say thank you and thank you for your service to your king and your country. It's not difficult to be a polite, guest to your host country.

There is one policeman who should be ashamed of himself. When telling the mob to get back behind the bollards at changeover time, he actually says PLEASE to the Stubborn ones. When I was a child we had respect for the police and whatever they told us to do we did it, quick sharp.
They must smell some cheap (yuk) perfumes as well. I wonder if they can wear mufflers in their ears, as all that screeching and shouting in different languages must drive them all mad. I know I turn the sound down at times.
Touching the horses is allowed, though no one did so in this video. The policeman was annoyed because the woman and the girl went to get their photo taken when he had told them to stay behind the bollards during the changing of the guards.
In America anyone of these people would probably sue if they got bitten or kicked as they all think they shouldn’t be responsible for their own safety and have no idea how much damage a horses hoof can do. So dumb. Respect the horse and guard.
The 3 main gates should be military use only. Public must stay behind bollards & enter palace yard only through the side gates attached to the buildings.
The Guards need to yell at those disrespectful tourist. As soon as the Police say behind the bollards it should be the guard who lets them know get back.
There are far too many people just meandering around. If an emergency arose, taking control would be impossible. Somehow, the crowds need to be *contained*.
I think they should close all the gates to stop the visitors walking through when they are getting ready to change the guards 5 mins is to long for them to stay in one place 😮
Hello from Spain, the sheep are at it again. They see an open gate and just have to follow everyone else through it. The police should keep the gates closed until its time for the horses to move, because if you leave them open, this is what happens, and then the sheep move to stand right in front of where the horses are about to walk. I would just let the horses walk over them. Very bad and inconsiderable sheep. They also need to stop the sheep from being in the courtyard during changeover. If people want to watch, have tvs and film it from outside the area. How this isn't classed as a security risk I don't know. I'd be concerned about certain persons' intentions. No other armed forces allow such close proximity to the soldiers/guards or their animals, so why are these working men and women put into this situation. Maybe the king needs to have a closer look at what happens to people under him.
I would not let these tourists touch the horse. Apparently, they don't read the waring posted. Never know how a horse would react and put the soldiers at risk of injury. They should waring about stupid and careless tourists. Thank you. Soldiers for doing a great job.
I did also , I’ve watched quite a few of these and either you blink and miss it or else it was insignificant,a ploy to have you watch 10 minutes or more of sometimes very rude tourists wanting to pat the horse for their photos to be taken .

At the end, a woman and a little girl went to get their picture taken before they were allowed back in front of the bollards. (The video plays the same “sin” twice.) They should have followed the policeman’s commands, that’s all. No one touched the horse. No big deal.
All these videos are clickbait. They are 13 minutes long and contain maybe-maybe- 30 seconds of activity worth watching.
