    Thanks for the instructions, just picked one up for a mere 5 bucks from someone that bought it on impulse, used it once and decided to cut his losses. Brand new, not a scratch. But no manual, so without your video I couldn't have figured it out. Kids love this and my 12 yo wants to cook it by himself before school.
    This truly is delicious and this coming from someone that has been enjoying egg McMuffins for decades. Of course, I used my own home smoked back bacon (Canadian bacon for those in the US) so this certainly helped. Great invention.

    The Green lite cycles on and off to maintain the right cooking temp. If the green lite would stay on all the time it would burn the food. 😉

    I actually use store bought croissants and shape them with a cookie cutter. Put that on the bottom, then bacon, cheese, and mix egg with salt and pepper, and add it, then cook 4 minutes and add top croissant and cook one additional minute. Could also use pre made pancakes for McGriddles

    I have one of those at work in my machine shop. I have used it multiple times at work for a couple of years now. Works great. My technique varies a bit from yours but it all gets you there in the end. Definitely a cheap gadget that actually works pretty well.

    @WendyCopley I just discovered this little wonder...lol! Like you, I bought it for my son. Those frozen bkft sandwiches get to be pricey... he really likes the convience factor! As a mom & a nurse, I would like to see him eat healthier. This may be a solution to controlling what is going into the sandwiches 🤔.
    Thank you for these simple and most helpful tips. 😊🌻

    • @wendoloniavideos
      @wendoloniavideos  3 года назад

      I wouldnt say "soggy" exactly, but the egg kind of cooks into the bread. It's crispy on the outside, but the inside is soft because of that.

    • @TJVergerII

      @@wendoloniavideos no soggy? Just leave the top UP until you see the edge of the egg becomes firm. Then slide the the top on. TA, DAaa

    @Wendy... give me the bat ..Wendy....give me the bat, give me the bat wendy😳😱🤔😮😄😉😏😁🙂 I kid.. I kid... anyways... thank you. I have one of these and had not used it in awhile. So I wanted to know I was up to Par. And now I am. Just have a few suggestions for those who just got one. When lifting the lids at anytime, be very careful in making sure the middle slide out stays closed. So just hold the outer plastic handle on the middle plate, because it could slide out and you end up getting burned. If it does slide out just let it. If you try to grab it and you touch the hot griddle it's going to burn you real bad. This happens before ingredients and after all food has been taken out. So after the middle griddle with the egg is done cooking and you slide the middle griddle out for the bun and egg to drop on bottom bun. As you lift the top use the plastic handle to move the Griddle back over. Be careful the rings and middle griddle can come right out of what holds it. Sorry I know this is allot. Also, I use Pam Butter Spray on all the griddles. Though I've actually switched to KerryGold Irish butter. Its the best. I melt it down in a microwave cup. Then I get a brush or paper towel if you don't have a brush. And wipe it on all three griddles after its preheated. Then add all ingredients.
    One more thing. When you clean it, do not use any detergent, it ruins the non stick. Use wet paper towels. 3 or 4 folded into one. Clean the top griddle. Then the middle griddle and the sides of the rings that hold everything in. Then the bottomed griddle. The Maker needs to be hot when doing this, make sure the middle ring does not slide out. Afterwards take out the removeable rings. Run it under hot water. Oh, make sure the wet paper towels don't burn as you clean. It doesn't take much to clean it. Sounds like allot but it isn't. Be careful when lifting rings out of the maker... I cannot stress this enough. That middle griddle likes to slide out. Clean the spring and backside of grill.
