- I got the Hamilton Beach Dual Breakfast Sandwich Maker for Christmas and I was super excited to give it a try. We tested it with a couple of different fillings and bread types and made this video to share our findings. I hope you enjoy it and find it helpful!

Great review. I loved that you provided the ingredient cost breakdown and estimated when the purchase paid off!
Happy to be of service and thanks for stopping by!
Great review of a great product. Having to pull extra hours b/c of the pandemic, so making these delicious "Power Pockets" in bulk, and freezing them indiviually has somewhat taken the edge off 3:30A roll outs. Have used canadian bacon slices, thin-sliced jalapeno Spam, crispy fried and crumbled bacon, and also crumbled sausage. Made a batch of pizza style for lunches using pepperoni and mozzarella. Made some with round-trimmed rye bread, deli thin corned beef and swiss cheese... Taking pre-orders for game day!
Basically just keep the ingredient sizes within the parameters of the cook rings.
Gotta love it, it's "some more" good.
Wow! Great Stuff! I'll have to try some of those. Thanks for your service and for stopping by!
@@Rico.at.50 You are very welcome. Hey, I'm just civilian frontline medical, but a big salute to our US servicemen and servicewomen in all branches 🇺🇸
Thank you I just got mine wasn't sure if I was going to use it until I saw the video
I hope you love it as much as we do! Thanks for stopping by!
Great review! The added cost analysis was a great idea!
Glad you found it useful :D Thanks for stopping by!
Those sandwiches have gone way up in price since this video and we did get one of these sandwich makers. It’s fun, fast and saves money too..🎉
Yeah, plus you can make them in whatever variety most appeals to you! It's a big win overall!
Just bought one for a friend's birthday gift and one for myself. I use the crumble sausage that is precooked when you buy it. I tried the pork and the turkey sausage crumbles and they cook great in the machine. Easier than pre cooking the meat. Also, the precooked microwave bacon does well in the machine.
I still love mine and had several delicious sammies last week. I've found that I really like the Boars Head large sausage patties. They fit perfectly in the ring!
Anybody else notice the soundtrack took us from EDM festival to Tractor Supply? 😂 Great review though. 👍
I like a variety in my music! lol
Great job reviewing this product, was considering buying one and now after watching this, going to purchase one. Thank you 👍
I still use this all the time. Very durable! Thanks for stopping by!
Excellent
Thank you! Thanks for stopping by!
I LOVE the way you broke down the financial info. I bought this yesterday on eBay for $43, only about $3 more than you paid for it 3 years ago. I'm sure I'm going to get destroyed on the price of eggs, cheese, and bread because of the horrible economy, but the retail price of the restaurant sandwiches have also gone up considerably.
Once again, really enjoyed the video, thanks! Subscribed.
Thanks for the kind words and the sub! I've really enjoyed mine over the years. So quick and easy, plus I don't have to get out of my PJs lol!
Thank you for the great review!
You are welcome! Happy to serve!
Thank you for sharing sir!👍🏼🇨🇦🎄
Happy to help! Hope you found it useful :D
Great video
Thanks! Happy to be of service :D
My daughter got me one of these for Christmas. Watched a few videos on it to see how exactly to use it as I haven’t had a chance to yet, and to get reviews. I honestly have to say the only thing I have seen that has been even remotely negative is when you mentioned the length of the cord.
Yeah, it's super and durable! You should enjoy it for years to come like I have :D
If you add the cost of gas the price per use changes and as a Canadian I have to say that that is NOT Canadian bacon; it's ham.
Thanks for correcting me on that. That's how it's marketed down here :) Thanks for stopping by!
Different part of the pig, but yeah, basically ham-ish. In BC we don’t see the term used here very often, but apparently it’s from Ontario so idk maybe it’s more of an east coast thing.
Eggs, ham, bacon, cheese, biscuits... the most important parts of the breakfast meal. 😋
So true!
mmmmm scrummy sausage patty for my tummy :)
*crunch crunmch cunch*
if my patties are frozen beforehand, should i toss em in the microwave for a bit before throwing them in the sandwich maker? thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11!! :)
I think so. This basically heats them up and I don't think it would have time to dethaw and heat up in the 4 minute cook time. Thanks for stopping by!
I love my single one. Never eat sausage so I sub veggie burgers and breakfast veggie sausage patties.
Anything you want to put on them is perfect! I use bacon too. I still use mine regularly. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to share your thoughts!
@@Rico.at.50 thank you,too!!
What kind of meal use him? Great video 👍
If I understand your question, this is normally a breakfast meal for us, but I enjoy them whenever I am in the mood, which is often lol :D Thanks for stopping by and for you kind words!
@@Rico.at.50I mean, i want know what kind of meat use in the video. However, i read in a forum that the mcmuffin meat that Mcdonald use is the brand "Jones - sausage links pork". (Y)
@@josuealfredocupulpiste8685 I see, sorry for the misunderstanding. I used pre-cooked sausage and also what we call canadian bacon, which is basically ham. I also use cooked bacon slices with them too. Just make sure it's already cooked :)
Just add another wire, splice it in, that's what I am doing should get mines in a couple of days
Enjoy!
Do you really have to cook the bread first before making the sandwich?
So, it wouldn't do well with raw dough, but you don't have to toast the bread or anything before. You can put anything already baked in there and it will toast it up for you.
The only thing I could say that the English muffin sandwich is the proper sandwich to make not the biscuit with the egg hanging over it
If you get biscuits that are the proper size they are delicious :) I am a big fan of both. Thanks for stopping by!
@@Rico.at.50 ok ty
Actually, they do not make these types of kitchen gadgets with long cords.
I wish they did. 1 foot is just too short!
I’ve made like 6 sandwiches and the eggs won’t cook
When you preheat it do you leave the rings in too? They need to be hot to cook the eggs. I don't know why it wouldn't work otherwise. Mine has never had that problem.
So all that money to make one thing..... Unless you have two every day, I don't think it's worth it!
Well. as I pointed out in the video - All that money was not that much money and it paid for itself in a couple of weeks. I've been using it for years now and I still love it. It has paid for itself many times over. Thanks for stopping by!
Then keep paying overpriced amounts for made sandwiches at micky ds, but at home ones are much tastier and way cheaper. The machine pays for itself in a couple of uses.
really need the annoying background music?
That was early in my youtube content creator experience. I don't do that anymore. Thanks for stopping by! Was there anything you found helpful in the video?
