Have they been good after the 2 years? Just curious cause I really want to replaced my headlights as well.
I appreciate the info. I did a set for a friend and of course I just had to figure it out. Then someone else got in there and said that I didn't do something right and as my luck would have it they screwed it up , so now I get to fix it again but I couldn't make sense of what they'd done so thanks again.

Those headlights look awesome. I just got a 2012 F150 and am about to get the exact same ones. It's so hard to find them in the chrome because everybody is going with black. I love the chrome ones bc I have Moto Metal chrome 20's on my truck and the chrome bumpers. Looks great!
Those heat shrink connectors are nice, but you could have used both ends my man.
Can you please make a video about how you put the auxbeam bulbs in? I have the same ones and can’t figure out how to put them in the headlights

I got the same head lights but the led bulbs are just slightly too big to fit in the middle housing after the clip. Is there any way you can let me know what exact bulbs you guys got?

I spliced the lights to my drls but they don’t run during the day, they only turn on when I unlock the truck and lock it

Hi! I have a problem with similar headlight’s except they just use the factory bulbs and a t harness to steal power from the turn signal bulb. There was no wires to splice all plug and play. However, the turn signal and led accent light only work when the daytime running lights are on. The hazards work and everything always works unless the truck is on and I have all lights completely off, then the turn signals with work. They only with the headlight on or with the drl on
How have they held up probly full of moisture and lens peel ?

Just got these in black instead of chrome and I'm glad I have your video for reference! Is there any reason I couldn't use the side marker light for the DRL instead of the turn signal?

How did you fit the LED H7 bulbs in? I got the same LED bulbs but they’re too big to fit into the hole.

Did the blinkers flash more rapidly after installation? Everything seems to work OK only the blinkers flash very fast now like a bulb is out but there is not and both right and left side does this..
Sounds like a canbus error.
Are resistors needed for the auxbeam LED lights for the headlights and fog lights?
Not for headlights or fog lights. Only for turn signals because LED lights dont draw enough current so the truck thinks a bulb is out causing hyper flashing. Resisters are only there to draw more current to stop hyper flashing.
Man, wish you guys would have showed the LED wiring in the boot. I hate the halogen bulbs!
They just plug and work. It's an h7 bulb to replace so not the standard h13 of the original headlight.

No I did not sorry.
Just to be clear ...you guys pulled the halogen bulb that came with the headlights form amazon out and swapped them with led bulbs right. Just asking because I currently have led bulbs in my stock headlights .

What parts is your muffler and exhaust tip. Mbrp or mbrp resonator ?
Full MBRP exhaust.
I just got these, expect black housing. My left light seems to be angled downward, how do you adjust it on these headlights?

yeah but you have to buy a ballast and after you buy everything it will be about 1200-1500. i have a 2010 and i wanted to do the same thing but for that amount of money you could buy a way better headlight

I can’t remember what size they are... I believe mentioned the size in another truck video of mine.
They are H7 bulbs but I wouldn't reccomend the AKKON brand. The beam patterns is really weird with 1 side being higher than the other. My headlights are adjusted and even with only 1 installed the beam pattern is split.
What colors did you connect the left side ? I believe they are different
Are you figuring out what Color’s connect because my are different from his I don’t have yellow at all
are the LED wrap around lights bulbs replaceable? mine went out
How long did they last? They are not replaceable.
I bet you had moisture problems. I’d say 90% chance. So good luck with the LED’s not dissipating heat very well with the anti moisturizer rubber boot you split!!!! and covering over the back.

Still look good as new.
I mean they look great, but why not wire the DRL's to key-on 12v power so you don't need to worry about them with automatic headlights?

Did you guys have issues fitting the H7 LED Bulbs in since they are quite a bit bigger that the Halogen bulbs?
Yeah we made a few cuts on the rubber piece.

Just wandering because the hole where the bulbs fit into on some headlights will not fit the LED bulbs since they are larger. My dad is wanting some for his 2009 Lariat and we already have LED bulbs for it. Just making sure the bulbs will actually fit in the housing hole itself. Looks like since you put LED in there then we should be fine. @@TTorres1183
I’m looking for the same answer. I got the same headlight housing but my new LED H7 bulbs won’t fit because it’s too big to insert into the bulb hole. Any updates?

No... everything was fine. You can always adjust you beam.
Are the bulbs that already come with the headlight the regular bulbs? Or LED bulbs?
Halogen which are trash led dont work good with projector hid is what i recommend i installed them on mine

It's just how he chose to wire them, I don't see why you couldn't wire them to key-on 12v power and not worry about them.
I dont get why my truck has different color wires than yours but also my day time running lights are through the head lights not the turn signal. My turn signal connector is identical to the one you spliced into
And also failed to get the led bar to light up on the drl. Any thoughts?
Some vehicles are produced in different places and some have revisions based on when in the year they were made which can sometimes change wire color.
@@michaelokelly113 try reversing the cables because LED are particular about the polarity of current. I would personally recommend splicing them into an accessory wire or ignition wire as they would light up all the time when the key is turned on.
Got them to work just hooked them up on my marker lights. Was hoping to get the led bar to act as my drl instead of running my led headlights all the time while in drive
Also the headlight beam is not as clean of a line had this install. Mine has two jagged lines which seem to be from the high beam shutter or something idk. Kinda wierd

Just Google it bulb size or pull the factory ones and check the size

So the LED bulb you chose is a dual-beam bulb?
I bought this lights and the bulbs suck so then i installed led amd they sucked as well very little diffrence so after much research hid are the best bulbs for this projectpr lights i installed the hid and what a world of diffrence
