E.P. Carrillo's Factory Tabacalera La Alianza is now Casa Carrillo

We are thrilled to announce a pivotal transformation in our factory’s journey. As we look towards the future, we are embracing a name that encapsulates our heritage, our vision, and our commitment to tradition: Casa Carrillo.
Owned and operated by the industry veteran with over 50 years of experience, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, our factory has produced a wide range of award-winning cigar brands, favorites among aficionados, including the globally acclaimed E.P. CARRILLO lines, La Historia, Encore, and Pledge, which were named #2 (2014),#1(2018), and #1 (2020) Cigar of the Year by Cigar Aficionado, respectively.
Back in 2009, Ernesto's dream took shape in Santiago's Zona Franca (Dominican Republic) with a sprawling 40,000 square foot facility. "Tabacalera LaAlianza" was born, a Cuban inspired premium cigar factory with a name that symbolized family collaboration (alliance) especially with Ernesto III and Lissette, current head directives.
Despite our unwavering dedication and top-tier quality, we've observed that our factory's previous name wasn't as closely associated with our legacy and our flagship cigar brand E.P. CARRILLO, as we'd like.
The term "casa," meaning "home," reflects our essence. It's where our iconic brands have not just been created but lovingly nurtured, much like a family.
"Carrillo" represents more than just a name; it embodies a legacy and over fifty years of unparalleled
commitment and artistry in the cigar industry. We look forward to persistently producing exceptional cigars for the E.P. CARRILLO brand and collaborating with our present and upcoming private label partners.
