    He’s affraid he won’t be able to get all his books from different places to Pocketbook and they think Kindle is the best for that. FOR REAL?! Kindle is the most limited device ever. Every book you didn’t buy at Amazon you have to convert and it’s just so messy. Pocketbook is the most open reader that allows you to read pretry much any document you own or download. What a stupid video.

      When you delete your amazon account they delete all of your books you bought remotely from your device.

      Eye, I'm gonna go for the pocketbook myself, that SD card slot and the amount of formats it reads is just what I want 😁

      It's not the first time I come across opinion like this, and I can't help but wonder - what is with the bookstores in your country? I'm from Poland and I never had to convert a single ebook I bought in polish bookstores. All of them offer two formats (epub and mobi) and mobi files work perfectly with my kindle. It baffles me that it's not an universal experience - is it something special about polish stores or what?

      @@NephasisPL that's rely strange! the eBook reader(s) i've been using over the years is the old Sony PRS-650 with a modded operating system, one thing i liked about it was that it could run so many different formats. except mobi :(. i still stuck with it tho because of the SD card slot which i managed to get working with a 512GB card after formatting it to FAT32. after that generation (at least in the UK) it seems more and more ebook reader manufacturers started locking down there devices so they would only work with there stores and such. i have never heard of a kindle being able to run epub format :) you are lucky

    Pocketbook is the best. Maybe you make a comparison betwen color gadget from Kindle and Kobo (if they have one) vs Pocketbook. Marketing is at the first place.

    How about vital Info that you can charge Pocketbook 2-3 time less often and have much better navigation than kindle or Kobo?)

    • @jollyshroom
      @jollyshroom 3 года назад +3

      When I owned a pocketbook (for a week before sending it back) I constantly had issues with the screen not responding to taps. Also the interface for highlighting was horrible compared to Kindle. Those two factors alone made the pocketbook untenable.

    Pocketbook was the only one with colourful display here, how can you compare it to the black and white display and say it has lower contrast? And what about any of the system features and limitation? This video doesn't say anything new to someone who is already using any e-reader.

    btw. reading against direct light? key point of smart ink technology is, it works like ink - those micro black pearls of ink absorb light so than brighter than better. Its hard to compare ebooks :)
