- Welcome to the Plant Yard
We start this week moving some smaller excavators and then we go with Simon to prepare a King trailer and two Hitachi ZX135 excavators for a one way trip to Ireland to their new owners (colloquially known as a ‘seller’)
We then move a Maximus screener to Liverpool and the move a large Komat’su 290 for our friends at Bridgeplan Demolition
Midweek we move a McCloskey J45 Crusher and with highly experienced operator Glen’s help we both set it up to work on site
Sadly, we say goodbye to Low-Loader driver Tom who has been a great friend of the channel but is moving away from our area with his partner but on the positive, there is exciting news about the Channel 5 TV show ‘Trucking Heavy’
We have a busy day on Thursday moving Dave’s fantastic Volvo EC380 and Matt’s equally smart EC220
Friday is an even busier day starting with a small machine move with more larger machines and two site moves and eventually, we return with one of our McCloskey J45 Crushers
Thank you for your interest in my channel, I hope you enjoy the film

Fantastic video again this week Alex top job..
You've perfected the art of mixing filming commentary and adding a great soundtrack to your videos and made a very professional production of it here. Keep up the excellent work.
Thank you,
I’m getting the hang of making music work with the film and I’m learning that with commentary, less is more 🤟
Another great video.
Thank you 🙏
Thanks for moving our machines this week Alex and for taking such a pride in doing it correctly. It is appreciated. 👍
You’re running a professional crew Dave, absolutely no problem demonstrating the respect that we show for our customers machines, especially when they are so well presented, fair play 👏👏👏

Absolutely fantastic episode Alex
Thank you Steve, I appreciate the comment, thank you 🤟
Afternoon Alex
Appreciate the machines are graded by weight, so how much weight can a 15 tonne move as opposed to a 20 tonne machine. BTW, thank you for posting, love the fact that there is never any drama or polishing in the vlogs.
Peter, 13 tonners are probably the biggest machine that you would use for intricate building site work like digging footings or small drainage, they could be used for loading tipper lorries to remove waste soil (muckaway) although I’ve never actually heard the job described as such
20 tonners can manage the same role but are more ungainly (due to their size) with more power and capability with the appropriate Operator
I hope this helps 🤟
Great videos. Can you please explain the embargo you mentioned.
Thanks
Richard explains it very well in this video

Effectively, trucks under the scope of an STGO are not allowed on public roads during morning & evening rush hours
There are minor exceptions and the rules are different for each Police enforcement area
I should include it in next week’s film, thank you 🤟
Great stuff 👍👍👍
Thank you, the blogs are really falling into place and I truly appreciate your continued support, thank you 🤟
