Oh goodness! I'm a 35 yr old man and happily married with kids and yet everything's coming back to me whenever I hear the songs from this era. The time of my life! Really can't express it in words but I think the best word is bittersweet!
This song gives me an multitude of emotions. from hating the fact that i came from a broken home to crappy relationships. One of the best songs ever written
Now that I am in my 30s and my kids are turning teens, this line of the song "hey mom, what is it like when you were young" hit me so hard. It's a rollercoaster of emotions my kids.. but it's worth it I'm sure of that
So glad experienced life in the 90s. Transitioning from HS, to College, to working life. These songs were like time machine for me. Gives me back the feels, the struggles and the joy during that time.
One of my favorite song! It’s so hard being an only child, coming from a broken family and being alone since my mom passed away 15 years ago. These kind of songs brings back all the memories of all the light and happy times of my teenage life while I was still with my mom. I’m really missin’ you Ma! I’m still hurting but I gotta get up and fight coz I have my 2 angels here I should look after too ❤️
1999 - When I came to Sydney from Prague, this was one of my first meet with ozi music.. Great times, great my life era, next 5 years stay in Australia - that was the best time of my life. Tears rolling.. Love, Sydney !
Love her funky voice. It is so warm, refreshing and rare on such genre! The video solidifies this art... like some beautiful cherry on a cake.... Truly a legendary song back when time was simpler
Makes me want to go back to those late summer nights hanging out with friends in the backyard and dancing like there is not tomorrow. I miss this music era.❤
Music is music. Me I like 80s, 90s, rap, metal, pop, anything that I find nice I just listen to them. If I don't quite like it I don't listen. Don't over-complicate things. Just enjoy and live your life.
I was out with my man and then heard this song playing somewhere, I was like OMG! I love that song and I sang to it. Told myself i will listen to it when i get home. And that's now. And I can say that this is one of the old songs that you've forgotten to listen to but once you hear 'em again you still know every damn words in the lyrics.
OMG this song brings back sooo much memories. I was in high school when this song came out (I know, I’m old lol). Now reminiscing back in the days when life was so much better. I’m glad to have grown up in the 90s “it felt so good, I wanna do it again” 😭😁
I was a child back then and I never really understood this song, I liked how it sounded, and its cool because I grew up watching MTV... But now I am turning 37 and just stumbled upon this by RUclips's algorithm... Wow, it hits me, after all these years of living the adult life... Oh my goodness, understanding fully the meaning of it all as an adult hits hard but the melody and the music gives me some comfort though, of nostalgia and childhood memories. Wow.
Favorite ko during my high school days. My radio akong katabi habang nagaaral.. listening to this song makes me on the mood to study.. ❤ Wala ako masydo pki sa lyrics bsta gusto q sia 😂
Whoa.. im 40 with 3 kids. Im listening this music long long time ago. last week, this song pop up in a radio. i said to my husby, this is my fav song i lov to sing when im hurt in love before ive met you. hahaha.
GOD DAMN!!! Her voice is so good !!! Love this song being a 90's teen myself. It actually sounds better in 2022 for me personally like a lot of songs that had meaning and nice words to them.
My mom died 5 months and this is one of her favorite song that she would play on repeat. Her favorite songs are all I have that makes me feel a lot closer to her even though she's no longer here. It's funny how the music she enjoys and puts a smile on her face makes me cry. I miss her.
The 90s is the only decade that is not populated by pop songs but rock. There were variety back then. Alot of mainstream songs to choose from not just rock, hiphop or pop. That's why it's the best.
Lyrics aren't always a priority for me. I usually listen for lead guitar bits, but in this song I just love this little lady's voice so much. What a talented duo they are too. Wish I was in to make it a trio. 🎵😍🎸🎸
One of my favorite late 90s hits. How nostalgic. I don't care what my neighbors would say. I just want to listen to this song so loud as if no one is around.
Omg.. my childhood when lyrics are on the newspaper and magazines. Thank you Bachelor Girl.. this is one of my groovy fave. Thanks to youtube got to listen to this after tiring night at work.
The lyrics just popped in my head few minutes ago and decided to search and here I am. My first time to see this mv and hear this song again since elementary days. Please come to Philippines!
Funny Story.... Back in the day, this was my break up song with my Girlfriend, I wouldn't say it was amicable, but it "takes two to tango" anyway, about a year later, I bumped into her in a pub, & found out that this was our break-up song for her as well !! We became great friends ( again ) & managed to keep it that way...., & we're both now married with kids, not to each other, lol but we've got a great "occasional catch-up, respectful friendship", & we will still always look out for each other in a pinch, no matter what... Thank you Bachelor Girl, & thankyou Tania !
Classic ballads. Definitely reminds me of the late 90s or even the early 90s. Such a great song. full of emotion and memories. I was in year 10 or grade 10 when this song was released. I thought it was released in 1996. It was actually 1998.
I dunno, in some way this song reminds me with 'UNSENT' by Alanis Morrisette, except she mentiones her mum, Alanis mentions the boys she met along the journey. But I love the tunes and lyrics.. Nice!
Aussie group. Tania Doko and James Roche. This was played a couple of times on MTV back in summer 1999 (maybe). I could only remember the melody of the song, not the video. So until 2011 then I could really find this again here on RUclips.
I was 7 years old when this song was released and absolute loved it. Cut to 2024, I'm a professional muso and when I hear this song I get goosebumps. Something about the melody and harmony in the chorus along with the lyrics just fkn gets me every time!! One of those songs that just can't be compared to any other, just well written.
For some reason this song always makes me think of my last year of High School and the Sydney 2000 Olympics! ❤ what a great time that was the late 90s too!
Oh goodness! I'm a 35 yr old man and happily married with kids and yet everything's coming back to me whenever I hear the songs from this era. The time of my life! Really can't express it in words but I think the best word is bittersweet!

One of the catchiest pop music tunes ever. Can hear this song over and over and don't get sick of it. Classic late 90's.
This song never ages. It just randomly popped into my head today and it still sounds as good as ever.
Now that I am in my 30s and my kids are turning teens, this line of the song "hey mom, what is it like when you were young" hit me so hard. It's a rollercoaster of emotions my kids.. but it's worth it I'm sure of that
I'll give up anything just to return again to my childhood. The true happiness which I never find in the way I am living in right now.

But they felt so good
It's a hit song bruh. in Australia and Europe, too.
And in Asia also
@@hroestergaardsaigon what do you mean too? It’s an Australian song and only charted in like 4 other countries
that was one of the most popular song back in the days...
90's really is the best ERA of songs.
Disagree there brother 80s hands down
Caveman music is the best. Sticks, stones, animal skin, and pure unadulterated hominid grunting. I automatically win.

More easy to relate to I imagine.
