The 1950s probably had the best quality of romantic ballads (Nat King Cole, Doris Day), and the 1980s had the power ballads (too many to mention!). The 1970s had the folk and pop ballads. The 1990s had a few ballads but mostly boring, over commercialised stuff like Celine Dion and Mariah Carey. I was a teen during the 1980s and it was the decade of a style genre explosion.

Woah! This song brings me back. I literally forgot it existed. How can this be possible? Hearing it after all these years gave me a slap of nostalgia in the face. It's actually pretty damn good. Catchy af, great vocals, nice production and all-around good song. I like the fact the song has room to breathe, allowing her to sing it cleanly rather than forcing it. I especially like the chord change on the word faint, it elevates nicely .

Woah! This song brings me back. I literally forgot it existed. How can this be possible? Hearing it after all these years gave me a slap of nostalgia in the face. It's actually pretty damn good. Catchy af, great vocals, nice production and all-around good song.
