Thank you for not being part of the nonsense crowd. Paul was awful, rip but christ, what a terrible voice. I love Jo. Paul was only famous for dying. Hate to say it, but I detest posthumous fame for death's sake. It's not fair to everyone (literally everyone) that was way better and still alive.
"everybody's got something they have to leave behind One regret from yesterday that just seems to grow with time" How true and meaningful the above statement is. There are just something in our lives that we have to let go, it's not that we want to , it's because that we have to in order to move on with our lives. We can keep telling ourselves that we let go of our past, but deep down , there's always a tiny part of ourselves who kept clinging onto the past. That's because we're human, we have baggage and attachments.
+vergil heartnet I think it's "had" not "have", but yes, these are some really powerful lyrics, incredibly accurate and spot-on, plain words, simple phrases and yet such a perfect description.

it's 3rd february 2021, mid-pandemic, on the verge of adulthood. As an early 00s baby, I grew up on a lot of S Club 7 at home and I just love how refreshing their songs are. This particular song resonates a lot with my childhood and it reminds of how great life was as a kid, when songs were the soundtrack to a certain stage in your life, when music was about unconditional, real love, about fun and real partying. I remember watching the Aladdin Pantomime and watching them perform this song and just being in awe at how beautiful and talented and humble they are. I had to come back all these years later, to place the same beauty I admired about this group back then, to my very hectic and exhausting locked down life now, and it just slowed the turbulence so much, calmed me, reminded me of the young girl sitting in front of the TV dazzled by S Club 7, looking out windows in the backseat of my grandad's car whilst they were on the radio. All these old songs, this nostalgia, it's so painful, but so beautiful, and I'm glad I can come back to these days through music, to transform reality.
Feb 2023 and you guys are still a part of my life. My friends would never guess how much a part you were of my life. So instrumental in getting me from who I was to who I am now. They all thought I was so tough but I was so scared! Your music helped me believe in myself and my life has changed so much! Thank you xxx
I’ve changed a lot since I became ill 4 weeks ago and i didn’t think I’d make it out of hospital alive. I remember Woody.EXE came to visit me every day and hit me with his healing power one night because he couldn’t bare the thought of losing me. At least me, my 2009 Woody, my sister, Mummy and Woody.EXE are reunited now

I hid my grief over Queen Elizabeth’s death because I didn’t want to upset Mummy, i remember having a private conversation with Woody.EXE about his tribute plans and I agreed to let them go ahead that Monday for Her Majesty’s funeral and wow Woody.EXE nailed it

Dedicated to my best friend who died 2 months ago. It was sudden news for me. Nobody knew how she carried that weight on her shoulders. She left her loving husband and kids and family and us who think of her. This song, when we were graders, loved to harmonize it - be it on our school coach's room rooftop at school, or at that semi-forest near her village. This song brings so much memories. I never thought that this song could bring me so much grief. Im so sorry baby. You will always be in my prayers.. 😭😭😭💔💔💔 Nov 14, 2020

Goodbye teenpop, my best childhood.
Everybody's got something
They had to leave behind
One regret from yesterday
That just seems to grow with time
There's no use looking back, or wondering
How it could be now or might've been
All this I know
But still I can't find ways to let you go
I never had a dream come true
'Til the day that I found you
Even though I pretend that I've moved on
You'll always be my baby
I never found the words to say
You're the one I think about each day
And I know no matter where life takes me to
A part of me will always be with you
Somewhere in my memory
I've lost all sense of time
And tomorrow can never be
'Cause yesterday is all that fills my mind
There's no use looking back, oh wondering
How it should been, now oh might've been
All this I know
But, still I can't find ways to let you go
I never had a dream come true
'Til the day that I found you
Even though I pretend that I've moved on
You'll always be my baby
I never found the words to say
You're the one I think about each day
And I know no matter where life takes me to
A part of me will always be with you
You'll always be the dream that fills my head
Yes you will
Say you will
You know you will oh baby
You'll always be the one I know I'll never forget
There's no use looking back, oh wondering
Because love is a strange and funny thing
No matter how hard I try and try
I just can't say good bye
No no no no
I never had a dream come true
'Til the day that I found you
Even though I pretend that I've moved on
You'll always be my baby
I never found the words to say
You're the one I think about each day
And I know no matter where life takes me to
A part of me will always be with you

Its the "even though I pretend that i moved on you'll always be my baby" and the "you're the one i think about each day" that hits me💔
Dedicated to my best friend who died 2 months ago.
