MASSIVE Recruiting Overhaul with Hints of Nostalgia! | EA Sports College Football 25 News

- EA Sports College Football 25 is about a month away. And news has come out about the overhauled recruiting. Though, while there is plenty of new features. There is also a good bit of nostalgia from the previous NCAA Football games.
New features include NIL alternative, Four-Game Redshirt Rule, Transfer Portal, and more. Nostalgia though shines through with hours spent recruiting and scouting. Player's "dealbreakers" enhanced and even more important. So many bits of information, you'll have to watch to find out.
We will dive further into more College Football 25 Dynasty Mode throughout this week. There are some great additions we will discuss. Additionally, you can find hints on who my first College Football 25 Dynasty school will be, by checking the community tab on the channel for hits and see whose already been eliminated.

I started playing ncaa 13 a few months ago and the recruiting is much more in depth than 14. Was pleasantly surprised and glad to see they are incorporating these mechanics
If I remember correctly, their goal was to streamline recruiting based on feedback. But going back to the NCAA 13 system is much more immersive and matches their goal of the game. We'll get more info soon!
Ncaa 12 was the best but 13 was pretty much the same iirc

@bigbearb_gaming I'm pretty easy to appease. I can forgive certain gameplay issues as long as the dynasty mode and recruiting is in depth and fun not streamlined like 14 (and it doesn't sound like it will be that dumbed down).
@@Cipher_8 Sounds like it will be in-depth. But it was before, people wanted streamline. So, curious to see what feedback is given and how they handle that

I like the in depth / more realistic aspect of the recruiting, however, as a 40 year old dad of two, I need the simplicity of NCAA 14 recruiting. Especially since I’ve used it for the past 11 years. 😂
The quick point system definitely helped speed up recruiting. We'll find out more this next week. Perhaps there is a nice middle group, where recruiting doesn't take as long as a game, but is still as immersive as the rest of the game. Or maybe a coaches skill that helps automate. I'm sure there will be tweaks based off feedback
@bigbearb_gaming I hope they have a mix of both in game so those like thomas here that want the streamlined can do that but those that want the indepth recruiting of NCAA Football 12 (but improved and better than that even) can have that too. We'll find out Tuesday.

Same! Even a re-release of NCAA 14 on new gen would have been great. But they seem to be trying to make up for no new game in the last decade. Got us all hyped up!

So you can’t change the name of a lower overall player and upgrade him ?
@@Freebandzzz1k There is no player editing or prospect creation. Only thing I imagine we can change is gear, number, and position. One of those things that comes with player likeness
@@bigbearb_gamingnot being able to edit recruits is honestly almost a dealbreaker. I’ve got guys from dynasties past that need recreated

@@WrathOfTheSpectre There is no confirmation of this on the CFB25 site. Where did you get this information? Cause if they do add it later, that would be great. Not sure if an update could do that or if it would be a CFB26 type of addition

I hope so too but I really hope EA tweaked the AI because the cpu on all madden in madden is too damn op like I have a franchise mode with the 49ers and I was playing the eagles and they had Jalen hurts stiff arming and trucking players like Fred Warner and nick bosa with ease now I’m not saying Jalen hurts can’t do that but Fred Warner and nick bosa are no small dudes he would definitely have some push back if he attempts that
Good competition is needed, without nerfing user abilities. Which, is how EA has done it with Madden
Completely agree. All-Madden is a broken "difficulty"
@@bigbearb_gaming no the user abilities is fine I don’t have a problem with abilities I’m talking about stuff like your cb’s and safeties keep getting dusted qb’s starting the game 10/10 the cpu breaking every tackle and every time u try to hit stick your players bounce off the computer is to unstoppable which takes the fun out the game it doesn’t even feel like competition it just feels like you’re getting cheated
@@kingjoshthesaucegod1595 That's what I meant. Abilities was a poor word choice on my part, with Superstar and X-Factor. But yes, player ratings shouldn't be nerrfed to make CPU better
Would like to see the computer actually challenge in recruiting. In the past after few seasons the cpu get terrible with recruiting then North Texas out of nowhere built a juggernaut 😆 🤣

@@Austincunningham374 Cause players sued them for likeness and us creating them. Schools didn't 🤷♂️ That's my best guess
