I always have had plenty of thoughts on NCAA 14. It meant so much to us all but man was recruiting a horrible mess. It seems as they fixed some huge issues. Your number 4, 5, 12 points are key to my thinking of that change. In '14 CPU logic was awful, including some of the following: - Overloading at positions not of need. - Throwing points at the top 6-8 prospects of their board and having an advantage doing so. - Not balancing the roster in position changes. - Small schools signing big time players; a huge pet peeve of mine. - Random states like Maine, Alaska, Dakotas, Montana generating multiple 4 and 5 star players. That messed with states that actually produces players, in turn screwing up pipeline states talent. - Generating too many prospects at certain positions (ATH, RB), not enough at others (Lineman, MLB, S) and having 1 star recruits, which shouldn't exist. I guess we'll see how it turns out, but some of those issue's made NCAA 14 somewhat unplayable once you got 5+ years into a dynasty. It had the most affect on big time P5 programs due to lack of talent. Uncommitted recruits walking on is huge and will help roster sizes. That's only talking recruiting; it's not counting things like schools like U of Pittsburg firing a HC every year or two. Hopefully many of these fixes make this thing real more life-like.
@@THEprimo6711 I don't disagree at all, just stating I think that's what's going on. otherwise, as you said, why have the feature in there? We'll find out soon.
"Cutting" players isn't a thing at the collegiate level. IRL it's either convince them to transfer or pull their scholarship. This is just one more area they're trying to mimic RL.
Uncommitted recruits won’t “walk on” to your school if you’ve offered them. They’ll sign with you (as long as you’re highest on their list), but they’ll still take a scholarship.
Is there the possibility that if you start as a smaller school that by playing well and being successful you can be considered a larger school and gain more recruiting points. Example if I play as Georgia Southern and win a couple of Natties does that not bring prestige to both Georgia Southern and the SunBelt leading to more games on TV boosters giving more money and a bigger recruiting budget?
Not sure if this is covered somewhere, but does anyone know if you can remove/switch programs in Dynasty? ^ Basically, I’d like to take a team like UAB, build them into a P5 school, then replace the team with a custom UAB team (w/ a larger stadium) and move them to the SEC or Big 12.
