    Surprised myself,not a fan of white washing but this turned out great. Caning might have looked nice in the doors.

    I love how you made the natural grain of the wood stand out. Very pretty. Sanding a whole piece like this is a chore, but the results really show for your hard work.

    Wow, it looks like a brand new piece of furniture. The wash really highlights the beauty of the wood. So pretty Glenda! ps.... the sanding was worth seeing that wood grain...🌷🌷

    The white wash really helped remove the yellowness of the original wood. Looks so much better.

      Stripping is somewhat faster, but a lot messier lol idk I feel like it truly depends on what my mood is like that day .... either way takes long, they both have their downfalls and neither are fun 😀❤️

    Love your work! Have you ever tried soaking hardware in vinegar and salt? It has worked really well for me with a relatively light rubdown using 0000 steel wool. But I’ve never tried it on anything other than brass...so I don’t know if it would work.

    I didn't think I would like the look of this piece but it is very pretty. The only thing that threw me off was the white panels -- they look out of place. I would have sanded them down and made them look like the rest of the piece.
