Didn't realise that the sword had to be attacked separately. The boss went from impossible to easy, once I knew that.

How have I been gaming this long and whiffed on this so bad 😅
It's really a crazy oversight for such a graphically intense game with detailed combat tutorials and a good system for gradually introducing new mechanisms. The only clue I ever had was a message: "the Sword feels better." o.o The *SWORD* feels better? This came just as I had taken another once per turn full team swipe that had left everyone around 12 h.p. "Well i'm glad Mr. SWORD is just fine but YOUR @$$ is about to get uninstalled you snarky...."
It was the end of the Genesis X-MEN game levels of frustrating but unlike that little surprise this was neither clever NOR funny...... >.
It ain't you. Prior to this I raided several End Cities while wearing/carrying about 4 'months" worth of investment in MineCraft without losing it. You likely have similar achievements and they weren't impossible were they? You just had to be patient and smart in your tactical adaptations. This is the design flaw of ALL indies and WHY I avoid them like the plague. We just reached a part of the game (job) that was not specifically assigned so it didn't get done. Small teams = Many problems that can make a great game complete trash 1/2 way through. At least THIS one is more up front...... @@cashin0052
Thank you! When I game overed on my first attempt I went straight to a guide. So thankful for the internet and RUclips and smartphones. I spent enough time pulling my hair out when I was younger trying to stay pure and not use guides lol.

Depends what you want from the game. Some people like challenge. Others just want to play through the story

Even got the boss without out healing at all now I know the sword was a separate entity
