Yo!! I thought those were sound effects & not the actual sounds of the oil. It was too funny!! Great video as always Bud. Hoping all is well, Dirty Jersey out!!
That wasn't bad to do! My SCAG is in the shop now! Had a hydro leak and I let them do some other maintenance! Have a good one and I hope it drys up soon for you and us! lol
Thanks, that jack came from HomeDepot.com. It was about $600 shipped. It sooooo ridiculously heavy . It stopped working for me after a couple of years and I gave it away. I didn't really like it 🤷 I now use a similar style jack but, it's aluminum from Harbor Freight ($200) I prefer it 😏☝️
at about 20 minutes into the video he re-engages the hydros (a 1/4 turn with screwdriver) however it was not shown when he first dis-engaged the hypdos. Is dis-engaging the hydros necessary to change the filters and replace the oil?
I show myself dis engaging the hydro's at the 11:03 minute mark . I know people who skip this part of the procedure but, I've always done it this way for years and that is supposed to be the proper procedure according to the service manual 🤷
Hey brother quick unrelated question. how do you release the hydros to be able to push the mower? I am sure its something stupid I am just not seeing under there.
They have a round flat headed screw at the bottom towards the front. Your gonna need to turn that screw one 1/4 turn to release the hydro's. I usually reach across the mower with a screwdriver to release the hydro's, for example: if I wanted to release the the left side, I would kneel down on the right side of the mower deck and reach across with a screw driver.
Thanks for watching! I don't have a Z3X. I've got a Z2 and yes it is very difficult to get to the bolt for vent at the top. I haven't had the chance to change my hydro oil in my Z2 yet.
Yes actually, Our tires wore more on the inside after about 500 hrs on our first pair. We dismounted them and rotated the tires to where the worn side was on the outside.
I’m doing zt5400 on a toro 4000 series and the vent plug is impossible to get too. I’m having trouble getting the new oil to run down from expansion tank . Thanks
My snapper pro 500 hr oil change has about 8 hrs on it oil already looks blackish. Wish I had known hydros were a bitch too. Mower is very powerful but Im getting rid of it. Oil filter$40+ 15w50 synthetic oil F that noise.
Great video. Thanks for taking the time to make this.
No problem 😉👍thanks for commenting 😏☝️
Thanks for taking the time to do this. I've got an IS3200Z I'm about to do this on. Helps a lot!

they are but my 930 deere have tuff torq they are much smoother
Do u prefer the is3200 vs the isx3200? All those adjustable rods on the isx's seem like a headache waiting to happen. Enjoy the videos.👍
I wish I had the new ISX3200 😉 I drove it at the GIE last fall and it was awesome !Thanks for watching

Thanks for video 👍. Have you done hydros on your z3x? I don’t see any good way to get to the vent bolts on top of the trans axles.

Thanks...I have same mower have you noticed uneven tire wear on your last video when you changed tires?
Yes actually, Our tires wore more on the inside after about 500 hrs on our first pair. We dismounted them and rotated the tires to where the worn side was on the outside.
Same here.
Special place in Hell for this whole setup!!!!!

Thanks Kim! How y'all makin it over there?
J's Crazy Cutz, LLC we are doing good . Setting down and watching TV . I hope y’all are doing good to my friend. Be safe .
👍🏼
Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Why did you release the hydros?
That's how I purge the air that might be present in the lines. Some people skip that step but , I do it because, that's the way I was taught 🤷♂️
does 4400 hold the same as the 5400?
🤔mm I'm not sure?
What size socket for filter
1 1/8" socket
