What a sweet man he was, very very kind hearted
sweet gay man but was great man
i can tell
I'd seen him on television fairly often when I was a kid. He always looked like he was having such a great time.
What a Warm Hearted, Man, with such a Sweet, Sincere, Smile. The Most Beautiful, Talented, Artist & Genuine Showman.
He was a great performer and a gracious man. I saw him perform twice - his autograph is the coolest ever.
Mavis Nicholson was so courteous as an interviewer.
What happened to Mavis she was a terrific interviewer especially of anyone in the arts? She asked Liberace to describe the colours of his outfit for those who did not have a colour set then - how technology has developed. Sad he didn't reach the age of 80.
Liberace was a very interesting and immensely talented man.
He must have had fun playing twin brothers, Chandell and Harry, on an episode of the 1966 Batman show. Rumor has it that he supplied his own costumes for the episode. He always had a dynamic presence on screen, whether it was his TV specials, or appearances on variety shows, or another venue. Anyone who likes the 1965 black comedy film "The Loved One" will remember his scene as the somewhat austere Mr. Starker who assists Dennis Barlow (Robert Morse) in selecting a casket for his uncle, at Whispering Glades.
It's rather strange (for me, watching this video) when the interviewer brings up bachelorhood, possible marriage to a woman, and how Liberace likes to see women look. I suppose not many people knew Liberace's big secret at the time. Really, he had to hide so much, and to deflect so much in these situations.
He's definitely one of the most fascinating entertainers of the twentieth century. I would love to see a typical day in his life in the 1960's or 1970's, be a fly on the metaphorical wall.
Oh how.l agree. L have dvd. Of the loved one. Also his other films. Sincerely yours. Where the boys meet the girls and. South sea sinner also many other videos of his shows first saw him person 1956 xx
@@olivelane7903 :) Also, I enjoyed his appearance on an episode of The Monkees in which he smashes a piano. He was such a good sport to do something so wacky.
@@eduardo_corrochio he was always up for a laugh. Like that bit he did with Elvis. That was funny.
I'd heard that those Batman episodes were the highest rated of the series. He was great on that.
Watching from this time, the gender and other biases and assumptions of the time stick out. He did well to answer subtly.
A consummate artist of those we don't see nowadays no more. A legend indeed!
true super class and music man
Mr. Showmanship LIBERACE. 🎤🎹🖐️🖐️
Absolutely gorgeous
Can you imagine having been Libarace's Piano Student? Oh my! 😲 What an honor it would have been!
What a wonderful man! Thank you 🧡
If Liberace lived too be a hundred
he would never have been enymore brilliant.
Everyone loved him ❤️
That was a real nice interview she had with Liberace. I saw it once before was real nice to see them again. He was a very nice kind man a real great piano player entertainer. She was very nice woman interviewer.
He is so fucking sweet. I love him.
Sad he couldn’t live his authentic life in public.
Does anyone know what year this was from?
He chooses his words well
🎹🌟 Thee Very Best.
❤💖
Do you think this interviewer knew he was gay down to the core? Having him answer questions about a wife or women must have been the oddest thing for him to consider. He had many gay lovers at this time and finally a gay lover that sued him for millions when they broke up.
Bit naive to ask him about marriage to a woman lol
i always looked at his hands had rings on all fingers , classy but expensive
Those were some creepy questions he was asked by the interviewer regarding women. She knew he was gay, and she kept pressing the questions about what type of women he liked. What a gross woman. Let the man have his privacy and dignity.
Mavis is a consummate interviewer but that it was all so guache.
It all ends with a handful of ashes
