I still have it and wear it when my husband and I go to the opera, the ballet or somewhere formal. He was quite lovely and kind to me.
He brought such beauty to the world through his performances and joy to the senses of his audience. One of kind....a true artist. God bless you Mr. Liberace.

i met him at a rest. fifty years ago a very nice man seemed like a very kind man years later i won a piano compettion he had in 1980 a great experience may he rest in peace

His devotion to his mother always moved me. He is indeed a genius. I loved dancing waltz's for many years. Also the polka's. I married an Italian man, and he could really dance. I think that is what kept us together for 24 years. How I wish Liberace were still here, to see in person. RIP.

Remember when television entertainment meant something? I was nearly moved to tears watching this. Not by the music, but by my own sentimentality over what was presented to TV audiences years ago. The talent, the care that went into the show as a production. Alas, gone now. I did get to see this kind of thing on TV when I was growing up, when I was far too young and dumb to appreciate it. A rare joy to see it again.
Back when Johann Strauss was alive he had composed music with the great orchestras in front of many of the Crown heads of Europe, I have a lot of his music on cds he is one of my favorite classical composers, which there are many I love but not like him
